i received a holiday catalogue with a 10 off 100 coupon.Do you think its possible to use it for black friday deals! i cant find any restrictions on it that says i cant but i thought hip2savers could give me better insight

    • Anna

I always use clothing coupons on bf. I have a 40% apparel and accessories coupon i plan on using that day

      • shireen

        thanks anna!

        • MosleyMom

did you guys fill out something special to receive these booklets in the mail? I have a REDcard and I don’t get anything mailed to me 🙁

          • Anna

it wasnt in a booklet, when target released all the clothing coupons there were some for percentages off and i snagged a few before they took them off the site. I also have a redcard but dont get all booklets

          • shireen

we never used to get them but his holiday season we got it for the first time-so maybe its just a luck thing-like they pick a certain number of cardholders and you just have to be randomly lucky

      • Ginger

When you fill out a survey for a Target sample be sure to click the box that you would like to receive offers in the mail or email, and they will send you coupons. Hope this helps.

    • Lauren

The $10 off was attached to the outside of a Holiday toy booklet that came in the mail. I also had a $5 off of $50 that came in the pharmacy rewards booklet.

  2. Rachel

Where is the best place to get the bigger kitchen aid mixer that y’all have seen so far?

    • Pharmchick

      Kohls

  3. Brittany

I do not want to shop on Thanksgiving, so what do you think the chances of getting an Ipad Air are? Probably non-existent, yes?

    • Des

You might be able to get it online

    • Stephanie

I was wondering the exact same thing!

    • Robert

Probably pretty good. The iPad Air was released on the 8th, so Apple has time to replenish stock supplies. Not sure you can grab it at a discount thought, at least not just yet. Keep in mind, the iPad mini is featured in the Target and Walmart ad, maybe an option, although not the latest model.

      • LynnNV

Robert – Although the iPad just came out it’s featured as one of Targets Black Friday deals (iPad Air 16GB w/ WiFi $479). Anyone who wants this deal will have to be one of the first ones in line as Target will not give rain checks when they run out.

        • Robert

Thanks LynnNV, you are correct about the iPad Air deal. I have been focused on the iPad mini deal I missed this one!

Save a spot in line for me! The gift card makes it worth it.

          • Jess

Go online Thanksgiving morning around 7 am. Target honors almost all of their Black Friday sales online

  4. Melinda

Has anyone seen any deals on the leappad ultra? I saw the leappad 2 deal at toys r us on thanksgiving but none on the new one.

    • Sherri

BF deals are basically “old” items. Like last year I got the leappad2 for $65 not on BF but using coupons. This year the LP2 is $40.

    • Agatka

Walmart has it right now for $149 (regular price) plus you get $30 gift card. It looks like this will be the best deal this year. And there is a sticker on each box for $10 off if you but the Ultra and I think a game the same time.

  5. Erica

The cartwheel offer for outerwear expires 11/23 so won’t be able to use that on faux leather jackets 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oops…thanks for catching that! Just updated!

  6. Veronica

I have a question for those of you who have actually gone to Target on BF. Is it worth it? I am thinking about going for the first time this year (I want that iPad deal!), but I just don’t know if it will be worth it! Thoughts?

    • Em

I’m not sure if you mean “worth it” as in the price of their items but I I will say that I had the best experience at Target last year. They were extremely organized and I was out if there in less than 20 minutes!!

      • Veronica

By “worth it” I mean time and hassle. How early do you have to get there to get the good ideas, such as the iPad? Also, is Target a zoo? Are you fighting with people to to get what you want? Thanks!

        • Em

I believe I got there 2 hours early and it was a breeze for me since I was about the 30th person in line. The wait wasn’t bad for me either…just bring a chair and something to read! I agree with the other posts that you’ll need to get there extra early to make sure you get the ipad. People were super nice so I didn’t see any pushing/shoving. Walmart is awful though so avoid that 🙂

    • LynnNV

I have to agree with Em. Target’s BF sale was so organized. It was a mad house at Walmart. If you really want the iPad deal you’ll have to be one of the first ones in line. They generally don’t have a lot on hand AND they won’t be giving rain checks. Good luck!

    • annad

I agree with em very organized and I stock up on sweaters and pj’s etc

    • andrea

Depending on your town I usually got there 6-8 hours early and was one of the first in line. Bigger towns you may need to be there earlier. hth.

    • Theresa

My sister in law went last year, showed up right at 5 am when they opened and she said it was empty, not a person there except the employees. We live in a rural area, and although there is a Target and WalMart right next to each other, if you drive another 15 miles, there are both of those as well as 3 malls and several stand alone department stores and such. Check out your area and if Target is the only store you want to go to, find one that’s not so close to everything else, people are going to want to do their shopping as close together as possible, therefor will avoid the store in the middle of nowhere.

    • William

I guess it depends on where you live. I live in Los Angeles, and it’s a zoo as expected, lines form days before.

    • Christy

If you are going for electronics (ipad, nook, any of the smaller items that are kept in the locked cart in electronics), plan on just doing those or going with a friend who can pick up non-electronics items while you stand in the electronics line. I went one year for an ipod, got there about two hours early to a store in a smaller suburb. I ran to the back to the electronics section and got in line. There were only two registers in electronics (just the way the store is set up) and you had to pay for it there instead of take it to the front registers. It went sloooowly. On the plus side, if you are getting a gift card with your electronics purchase you get it right away & can use it to pay for your other items. On the minus side, if you wanted to do any of the clothing deals or toy deals many of the items would be depleted by the time you got through with electronics unless you shopped with a friend who grabbed things from your list. Plus you have to stand in line again to pay at the main registers. In my experience they are very organized and keep people moving but I don’t think I would do the electronics line again.

      • kristy cooper

Does anyone know in regards to he ipad deal they have the ipad mini for 299 with a gift card is that offer available online or just in the store?

  7. Pharmchick

Nothing here for me so far.. Or at walmart.
SAMs has a steam mop that sounds good. Other then that I guess I don’t need to go out on bf after all lol.

  8. axhilli

I’m kind of disappointed with the deals this year I hope Cyber Monday is better.

  9. kate

I feel like coupons have spoiled me. I look at all these black friday ads and always think “nah…I’m sure I can find that cheaper somewhere else, at some other time.” I’m really enjoying my Ipad mini I paid $118 for at Target last week. Now I look at that $299.00 price tag and think “yipes!” even with the $75 gift card offer.

    • JD

How’d you do that?! Jealous! I must’ve missed something?

      • kate

I traded in my iPad 1 for $200. Paid the remaining $99 (118 with tax). Also got a $25 gift card!!

    • britt

how did you get it for 118??

      • Pamela

Target had a deal last week that if you traded in ANY iPad, so long as it was functioning, they would give you a $100 Target gift card. I’m willing to bet she probably traded in a couple of iPads in order to pay only $118 for a mini.

    • Ger

She probably did the iPad trade-in deal and received the $200 GC and used that towards her new iPad.

    • Kim G.

Haha Kate, I feel the same way.. I too did the trade in and was able to score an iPad with retina display for less than $100 after gift card. 🙂

  10. Amanda

The Targets with 30 registers across the front are best. Last year the line at our target with 12 registers wrapped around the store and was a mess with other “feeder” line. I would suggest driving a little further and going to one with lots of registers.

  11. estela

i got an e-mail with the target sneek peak black friday deals and its just like whats up in there except the kids pajamas are $3 and theres also some scarfs that are $3 but when i looked here and on blackfriday.com for both they have $5 wonder if it was a mistake for $3

    • Theresa

congratulations! You have a regionally better sale!!!

  12. Sarah

Hoping to get the Ipad Air but getting up early and shopping with a lot of people? I rather stay home and try it online.

    • Nia

Up early ? Target is opening at 8 pm in Thursday night

      • Kayla

In some states they HAVE to open at 12AM. It’s the law.

  13. Ramya

What is a good Black Friday deal on Dyson vacuum so far?

    • Elizabeth

I am a BIG fan of dyson vacuums but do not buy the Dyson Slim. I could not even get halfway up my stairs before it died. It does not hold a charge long enough to vacuum!

  14. genie

I need the Doc McStuffins Deluxe Get Better Check-Up Center now. Anyone know of any discounts any where?

    • spifftiff88

      looking for that too

    • Katie

I got it for 64.00 on amazon three weeks ago , with free shipping . That seems to be the price it’s going for now on bf. If you find it cheaper .. Let me know !

    • Mamadkny

I got mine for 64.99 at target two weeks ago, but walmart price matches if you tell the cashier it’s on sale at target

  15. Terezia C.

I havent seen the actual ad, but usually for items like the iPad air, they will say what quantity each store has. Sometimes there are only 2-5 of that item! I would guess that you will need to be in line extremely early thanksgiving day to get one. The deal is a great one! But I know I’m not going to be sitting for 3 hours to try to get one. I would be extremely confident in saying they will not be available on Friday. The iPad mini isn’t a bad deal, but it is the older model, last week it was $299 and a $25 giftcard back. So $50 more dollars as a regular deal. I for one am very disappointed in all of the stores jumping on the Thanksgiving Day band wagon. Less time with family and think of all of the people that have to work. I am going to try to stick to my guns and not set foot in a store Thanksgiving Day, no matter how good the deals.

  16. Carrie

    Meh. not worth it.

  17. Kate

Still waiting for a crib deal. Junior needs a place to sleep!

    • Candace

If you live in Orange County CA you can have my crib. Just disassembled it and looking to give it away. 🙂

  18. Jen C.

Are these deals available online when they are available in the store?

  19. Tori

Pretty suer the iPad Air is not the $629 one, its the $499 one…

  20. Shannon

Samsung SIII 99.99 and S4 39.00? I would think the s4 would be the more expensive one, being it just came out 🙂 but either way, we bought the s3 at walmart for .99c with a new 2 year agreement/ or upgrade. Not all deals are better on Black Friday!

  21. Shanshan

YEAH beware of the HYPE. LOL! Got mine (4.5 Q kitchenaid mixer) for only a little over $100 about 2 years ago. $199 is NOT a good price!

  22. Stacey

How can you find out whether or not Target’s black friday deals will be online? One item needed and I don’t want to stand in those long lines. Nintendo 3ds xl is on the wishlist.

  23. Cbx4

Are these deals online?? I just bought 2 light up scooters and when I called to see if I could price match on Black Friday, they told me no. 🙁
Also, I bought a blue one which aren’t in our stores so I’m wondering if I should return them and buy them online on BF.
    Any suggestions?

    • britt

I was able to get portable dvd players on thanksgiving day last year..before the sale started on target.com for the same price!

    • Ashley

I would suggest waiting until after Black Friday to return them. If you want to try to get them for Black Friday you can always take the ones you have now back if you ended up snagging what you need at a deal or if they ran out you still have the ones you bought and no stress over getting them. Just make sure to keep your receipt for the ones you paid more for.

      • shannon

So if you buy the item ahead of time and return it on Black Friday and then buy it back that’s a way to get the deal? I’m confused.

        • lisa

No, I think she meant keep what you have already bought, try to buy the same thing on BF, then return one of them with your higher priced receipt. I’ve been to three different Targets in the past to return an item because I later saw it marked down cheaper and was told that I can’t return and buy it back immediately. I’d have to wait for them to restock first before I could buy it back.

  24. Melanie M

The Zombie Hunter game is currently $19.99 on Cabela’s website.

  25. jnugent32@gmail.com

I am not understanding the iPad air deal here as it says reg.679 the iPad air 16 GB is reg priced 479 not 679 that’s the cellular model the 100.00 GC is nice but the 200. Trade in was a better deal.

  26. margaret

I would also like to know if the deals are online as well @8pm

  27. Sabrina

Is that a good deal on the Xbox, anyone know?

    • LynnNV

Not really. Best Buy will have the 250GB on sale for the same price with a better bundle … IMO.

      • shireen

but the best buy one does not have a kinnect-so if you want a kinnect this is better i think

  28. Sarah

Does anyone know where I could find a good deal on Playstation 4? Everywhere is the same price. 🙁

    • amanda

Need the xbox one for under 500 wayyyy to much since my family has 5 of them. Boys dont understand why they are so into viedo games..

    • Brittany

You aren’t going to get a discount on the ps4. New video game systems pretty much never have discounts when they are first released.

  29. Michele D.

Does anyone know when the BF deals will be available online? Can I shop as early as it becomes Thanksgiving (midnight) or should I wait until after I get the turkey in the oven?

  30. Theresa

Would someone please tell me if ad match works on black friday, and how it actually works, I have never done an ad match before, but would like to. Also, gift card promos are promos and not subject to an ad match, correct? The thing is, i usually don’t shop at Walmart but this year is an exception because I need a new phone and can get a $100 gift card for getting the one I want, but the other stuff I want on BF is cheaper at Target, but I can’t use a Walmart gc at Target! Thanks so much in advance.

    • Breanna

As a target employee target will not ad match on Black Friday. It states that in their price match policy.

  31. Tara in TX

Collin ~ just printed a “10% off Airbed item” Target coupon fr the website (Coleman and Aerobed). Expires 12/14/13. Couldn’t we match this up w the Aerobed Black Friday deal? 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

WooHOOO!! I would think you could! 🙂

  32. Lulu

Do you also know if the $100 gift card on the ipad air is only for the 16GB on Black friday or also on higher GB models like the 32GB?

  33. Cizzle

I am planning on going to Target on BF to get a 50″ TV (it’s the front page of their ad, and cheaper than any other stores this BF). Any idea how early I need to get there to be amongst the first 10 people in line? Is 24-30 hrs early realistic? I live in Los Angeles, so it’s very busy and crowded. Also, does anyone know how many are usually in store? (3? 15? etc.)

    Thanks!!!

  34. Catie

Does anyone know if the black friday deals will be the same online? There’s a pair of boots I’ve had my eye on (online only) and wonder if it will be a lot cheaper..

  35. Suzi

I was wondering if I can get the $20 gift cards if I purchase the Keurig and the Fitbit online. Does anyone know how that works or is it an in store only deal?

  36. Suzi

Does anyone know if I can get the $20 gift cards if I purchase the Keurig and the Fitbit online? Or is it an instore only deal?
