Just to double check, if you use balance rewards to pay for part of your transaction on items not related to the ones you previously got the balance rewards, do you get balance rewards on items you are purchasing (that advertise that you get the rewards)?

    • dealgirl

You can’t ever use balance rewards to pay for an item that gets more balance rewards. It’s better to use balance rewards towards items that get register rewards. Otherwise your new ones won’t be added to your account.

I used points last week on the Scrubbing bubbles and it did not give me the RR.

  3. Tina

Last week when I bought the mens degree, I did not get my points right away, so I thought I didnt get them. Later I only got $2.00 in points not $4.00 I dont know if it was the new ad for the old ad. Oh well $1.00 is still good, just wish I would have gotten $4.00. I wasnt sure I could call and complain about double dipping 🙂

  4. Aimee

How do you know if your Walgreens is doubling up on the sales? I asked mine and they said 12:36 a.m. is when they start ringing up. Will they tell you if you ask?

    • maja

the best way is that you ask cashiers or go and try some double deal at register…I always go around 5 pm and at that time I can get double dip…Depend on store, but go and try around 5 pm. Sometime cashiers doesn’t know , or they don’t care to know:)

  5. Cyndy

Such on awesome deals on the Revlon Costmetics..So sad my 10/13 & 10/27 SS inserts don’t have any Revlon coupons 🙁

    • Geena O

      Me neither…so wanted to try them…! 🙁

    • Erica

i did not know about DD but was pleasantly surprised when my revlon matte balm sticks came out to 8.79 total for 2! thats less then the price of 1 (8.99) too bad they did not have more colors or i would have wiped them out

  6. Kim

Collin you are the best!!! Thanks is never enough for all the money and time you save all of us. I’m indebted to you. Best wishes to you and your family during these holiday times!!!!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awe… thanks, Kim! Your comment sure means a lot to me! 🙂

      • Dorothy

Collin could you do a video on double dipping at Walgreens. I would love to learn and especially after hearing about the great deals Saturday night.

  7. Mel

Does anyone know if Salt Lake City, UT double dips deals at Walgreens?

    • Amber

The ones in Utah County do.

      • Mel

Sweet. I’ll give this a go then and see if it works!

  8. cari

please I know nature made its a money maker but don’t abuse it. this is why the coupons coming up are so low value. 🙁

  9. Bonnie

I had a good trip to Walgreens. Both the Degree Adrenalin and the Women’s Degree Motionsense had bonus items attached. They weren’t quite full size at 1.6 oz, but were much larger than a typical trial/travel size. The price was lower than your ad stated & I had coupons totaling $3 on both, so it was a great score.

    • campanita

Is the women’s Degree also a double dip? I would prefer doing the women because there are $3/2 coupons and as you said, I have seen bonus packages. Please let me know and thank you in advance 🙂

  10. Christine H

11/17 RP $3/2 Dove Go sleeveless, go fresh, clear tone or ONE dove clinical.

  11. Aimee

Thanks Maja. I went and got my revlon :).
I live in DFW and my Walgreens had them priced at 8.99 so I payed a little more than what Collin had suggested, 1.04ea. But still a great deal. And as a bonus my wine was $2 less than the adv. sales price so it was a successful trip!

  12. kim

I just retured a earphone at wag but they at me ID and phone number. Is that happen to anyone?

  13. Margaret

I did this deal with Revlon nail polish…total after the BOGO 1/2 off + 40% off for 2 polishes was $5.84. Used 2 $1/1 manufacturer coupons and the $1/1 Revlon Nail Enamel coupon from the Wags booklet. Ended up paying $1.83 (+tax). Came out to $0.92 per polish! Not bad considering they are normally $6.49 each at my Walgreens!

  14. Andria

Just did the degree and dove deal and they rang up right but I didn’t get any points 🙁

    • tiffany

Same thing happened to me! I showed ad for day and they manually put the 2000 on. I see everyone getting 4000 too. I paid with a gift card and wondered if that affected it. Did u pay with gift card?

  15. Jose Castillo

Can you believe that someone tore every page 9 where coupons were out of the book. And left books on the rack . I am going crazy cause I can’t find coupon didn’t know what page it was on . Got some really desperate couponers here in Chicago

  16. Kortni

My store had the 100 ct. Nature Made fish oils ringing up $7.50 (they were tagged $11.99) and BOGO free and I got the 3,000 points, so with coupons it was worth the trip tonight!!

  17. Jose Castillo

By the way I am on husbands computer, so this complaint isn’t from him !

  18. Angela

Thanks for sharing!!! I did the colorburst deal:)

  19. Kari

I was so excited at Wags tonight (I went to three of them to find enough). I bought the 100 count Fish Oil bottles reg $11.99 but with the promos it ended up being 1 @ $7.50 and the other free! I used up all my $5 ones yesterday on vita melts but I had the $3 off ones! 4 bottles = $2.99!!! With earning 6,000 points!

  20. Tee

Did anyone else get a $3 off Catalina for the degree?my cashier clued me in on the deal- one women’s degree and one men’s degree use $1.50/1 women’s and the $3/1 men’s Catalina paid $2.01 and got 4000. Only managed one diabetes booklet but there were a lot of vitamins and supplements booklet- has a $5/1 for CoQ10

    • Barb

I was super excited about the double dip today visited 2 stores and ended up with 96000 points and paid under $10 for all it! My pharmacy had a plethora of booklets and I had several $7 Q from my NM account. Everyone in my family is getting vitamins for xmas, it’s the perfect gift of health! I can’t wait til BF to use my points, this website rocks, I’m so glad I found it!!!

  21. Nicole

Collin I’m loving the deal for the Revlon cosmetics. To make the Revlon Color Burst Lip products deal even cheaper there’s a coupon on coupons.com for $2.00 off any one Revlon lip product!

    • Nicole

So I just did the math and it will be FREE with overage of $0.81, not cheaper. which is even better! 🙂

  22. Desiree

I’m really trying to get a hang of all this couponing. I actually work for walgreens and don’t know what double dipping is. Could someone please explain?

  23. Laura

sales for the upcoming week start ringing up at the sale price Saturday. Not all stores have the current week AND the next week both ringing up on Saturday, but some do. I go to my store after 4pm on Saturday and I get both sales. Read carefully and look at the dates in Collins examples above.

  24. Sean

Collin, just got back from Walgreens and no Balance Rewards on Nature Made. Where did I go wrong? Thanks.

  25. Erin

I just got back from Walgreens. The dove sensitive skin and degree shower clean and sheer powder women’s deodorants are on sale $1.99 (must be tomorrow’s sale) and still BOGO from this past week. I had $1.50 coupon for the Dove and and 2 $1.50 coupons for the Degree. And I received the 4,000 points. Should be enough deodorant to last me a couple years. Lol
