My little pony is also buy kne get one 50% off. Including the dolls. Great deals

    • Heather

Not including the $3 MLP dolls.

  2. Sarah

I’ve been having trouble making an account for Disney rewards. Anyone else?

  3. Nikki Allen

I tried adding the $3 sale ponies from the front page ad and they both rang up $3 each and not $3 and $1.50. However, I did order the train and the remote control car and the car rang up 1/2 off.

  4. Sarah

In store, the $3 ponies were ringing up B1G1 1/2 off, I got 4 yesterday. Also, all of the Disney Princess Sparkle Dolls were $5, not just Ariel who is listed on the cover.

    • Nikki Allen

Thanks for the heads up! I will try this today and return the ones I price matched at Walmart.

  5. Kelly

Thanks Collin! So glad I checked this now. Was able to pick up 2 of the Lego storage bundles which is great since I swear we have Legos coming out of our ears here. 🙂

    • Nicole

We bought 12 clear storage boxes for Legos at Michaels. Iris manufactures the Lego brand at Toys R Us and the clear scrap booking cases at Michaels. We bought each case for $3 with sale and coupon. I like that we can separate all the different Lego colors and they aren’t those bright “kid” colors (red yellow green blue). When he outgrows Lego I’ll keep the boxes for my craft room. 🙂

  6. Christine

I cannot register either, I tried about 5 times

  7. megan

Any good deals for a 2 yr old boy

    • daisy

My son turned 3 yesterday. He loves the wooden puzzles that are for $3(reg. $9.99). Also the hotwheels $3 for a 5 pack.

      • megan

        Thanks

  8. Nicole

How do you sign up for TRU text alerts?

  9. Nik

Is Toys R Us usually good about combining manufacturer with store coupons or more of a headache? Wondering with the Planes Blu-Ray deal if they are going to give me a hard time about combining coupons.

    • Heather

It really just depends on the cashier. Mine have never really cared.. but they have to have a MGR override at times.

    • Stacy W.

Thanks Heather! I ordered them for my son for Christmas. 🙂

      • Heather

        You’re welcome!!

    • Crystal

      Thanks Heather!

    • Jennifer

      Thanks Heather!!!

    • luv2save

      Thank you Heather.

  10. Nik

    Thanks Heather 🙂

    • Heather

      Welcome 🙂

  11. Allison

Does anyone have a copy of the Toys R Us coupon policy they can post a link to? I am worried they won’t take a TRU coupon and a manufacturer coupon on the same item!

    • daisy

I chatted with a live representative from Toys r us and he said that we should contact our local store to inquire about stacking. Each store has a different policy. So not much help there. Blah!

  12. Lola

Also the coupon states on (regular) DVD purchase too, which is only 14.99… I don’t have a bluray player, so I will just be using the 5$ coupon… Yay for deals!

    • J

How do you get the $5 coupon? Or where

    • deb

Lola the combo comes with blue ray and a dvd

  13. Anna

the leappad 2 power is on sale $100 get 20gc and i have the wendys 10gc wyb $50 so $70 for the leap pad 2 power ends up being better than the $40 bf leappad and having to buy the $30 charger for it

    • Emily

Since it is an expensive item you are closer to getting $10 back from their wish list promotions when you spend $100. You have to create one online and print it out. You have to give them the printed barcode for your wishlist when you check out.

      • Anna

ohhhh good idea thanks for that! so it would be almost $60 after promotions! YAY

      • T

Do yo ureally have to print it out and bring it in to store when purchasing to get the gift card? I’ve bought ell over $100 of stuff for my daughters bday this week, and most was on her wish list..I figured they would track the purchases with my rewards card and know what I was buying..I didn’t read where it said you had to bring it in to the store 🙁

        • Anna

i think they track it on your card, nothing online about printing the list

          • Emily

I was price-matching an item and told them I was happy that it would apply to my wish list, but they informed me otherwise. They said the reward card will not sync with the wish list. They were able to look it up for me, under your name, or just keep the number saved so you give to them.

        • Naomi

          T,
Actually you do have to show a barcode for the wishlist before making purchase from the wishlist. I thought it will track from the rewards too but it didn’t apply and I re-read the wishlist page and it says it there. Maybe call CS to see if they can do anything about it as the store associates couldn’t do anything for me…

          • Anna

where do we get that barcode?

            • Naomi

If you search for your wish list from toysrus.com, you will find the barcode along with wish list number and the cashier needs to apply it when making purchases either by entering the wish list number or scanning the barcode (either from print out or smartphone). HTH

          • Emily

Yes you can call CS. I read that if people bought items on your wish list and they didn’t use the #, you can add it if you have the receipt info.

    • Melanie

Anna, can you post a link to which Leappad 2 you are referring to? I can’t find one with the $20 GC. Thanks.

    • Allison

Chances are you probably won’t the $10 gc. A lot of times those coupons exclude electronic hardware, or learning devices.

    • Lisa

You might research what kind of charge cord is needed for the leap pad…the car cord we have for the travel DVD player fits and works perfectly. It’s a universal set that came with several plugs and cost about $15 at Walmart, but I believe the official leap pad one is around $20.

      • annad

The cords other than the one for the leap pad allow you to play longer plugged in but don’t charge the actual device like a cell phone. Unless that’s what you are talking about? But I wouldn’t charge it in the car either

  14. alissa

the 15% off coupon is on the TRU site…

  15. jessica

Wendy’s kids meals are coming with TRU coupon right now I think…..fyi

  16. Todd

That Planes combo is a great price…too bad it was a horrible movie.

    • tilla ham

it wasn’t horrible it was just the exact same story as cars, with planes, so we’d seen it before;)

    • Candace

I think it was horrible also. Pixar should be involved in all Disney movies otherwise we end up with Planes. 😉

  17. mommytryingtosavejewel0929

Can i price adjust something from Saturday with this 15% off coupon??

    • kacee

If they won’t you could always, return and ‘re-buy.

  18. mommytryingtosave

Can i price adjust something from Saturday with the 15% coupon??

  19. Shelley

Does anyone know if you can still pre-order the planes DVD today for tomorrow and get the $10 off another $19.99 Disney DVD purchase? If so can you do this on top of the $7 MQ and the $5 Store Coupon?

    • R

Yes to your first question. Cannot fully answer your second question, but I believe you can use the $7 MQ, because I plan to do it. Not sure to which $5 store coupon you are referring. The gift card; if so, then I plan on doing that as well. We’ll see.

    • Michelle

Do you have to preorder in store or can you preorder online?

      • R

I am not aware that you can reserve online.

    • Shelley

      Thanks R!

  20. Jennifer

One of the Puzzles is coming up with free Shoprunner Shipping if anyone is interested. It is the Robin Hood one.

    • Mallory S

      Thank you Jennifer!

  21. Valerie P.

Is the Blu-Ray Combo pack really going to be $19.99? It seems only the Blu-Ray disc is going to be $19.99 and the combo pack will be $29.99 and the regular dvd $14.99. Please correct me if i am wrong… oh i hope im wrong for the sake of a great price 😉

    • Lynn

I hope so. At least that’s what the ad shows. The corresponding # of 306702 is the # for the Bluray/DVD/Digital Copy combo.

    • casey

I just looked at the ad on line and it I indicates the blu ray combo is 29.99.

    • Jenny

I just went that toys r us gift card coupon Adjusts the price to $19.99 then you get the five dollar gift card

I also saw lots of phone cases in the $3 range and Hello Kitty T shirts around $5. Halo sleep sacks are also B1G1 half off.

  23. Kelly

can you use the 7$ coupon in just the dvd? or does it have to be blue ray combo?

    • Kelsey

It works on the DVD too! $4 after the gift card 🙂

    • Shayla

the coupon specifically states for the blu ray combo; best part is the combo pack comes with a DVD so you in essence get a free extra disk for the same price as one DVD. Me and my mom always buy the combo thanks to the awesome coupons for the combo pack and she gets the DVD and we get the Blu ray. Win-win.

      • Shayla

        * the coupon I am referring to is the $7 manufacturer coupon, the TRU gift card promo might be eligible on either.

    • Diane

My TRU did not have the Blu Ray + DVD combo pack, so I picked up the DVD + digital copy and tried the $7 off coupon and it worked! Did not beep or anything!

  24. deb

Yes, got the text. Gonna combine that with my Groupon coupons that are due to expire 11/23. Good deals 🙂

  25. Cathy

In toys r us now…. they would only take the coupon OR the gift card. Not both. Been a strange week.for me to coupon!

  26. Lindsey

I just called my local TRU and asked if I could use a manufacturer coupon AND a TRU coupon on the same item and was told “Yes, you can”.

I hope this works, I need 2 blu-ray combo packs, and the Planes blu-ray combo pack is showing up as a “Buy 1 Get 1 40% off” online (I would assume the in-store promotion has the same titles?!?!)

Will update when I return from the store.
(my backup plan is heading to Walmart to price match to the $19.99 price and using the $7 coupon (2)).

    • Naomi

      Lindsey,
They are running BOGO 40% off online because there’s Disney DVD/Blu-ray Promotion going on in store right now and I believe that 40% off promotion substitutes it. If you purchase $40 and more on Disney DVD/Blu-ray in-store, they give you $10 GC that gets activated 6hrs later. Good thing is that this promotion doesn’t require any other coupons but be sure to ask the cashier as I don’t know if the system does it automatically… I’ve done this few times already successfully with coupons but I believe store coupons bring the value down so make sure to reach the $40 in order to get $10 GC.

      • Lindsey

Thanks Naomi! My numbers didn’t work out for the 40% off deal. I’m sure there are other scenarios (involving other titles) that would have worked. But trying it with 2 of the same movie didn’t work.

I was able to get both, just had to slightly alter my plan.

        Transaction #1

19.99 Planes Blu-ray combo pack (rang up $29.99)
        -$7 off manufacturer coupon
-coupon for Free $5 ToysRUs giftcard when you buy Planes or The Little Mermaid combo pack (coupon adjusted price from $29.99 to $19.99)
Total: $12.99 OOP and $5 giftcard

        Transaction #2
19.99 Planes Blu-ray combo pack (rang up $29.99)
        -$7 off manufacturer coupon
        -$5 Toys R Us giftcard (from 1st transaction-was active immediately-surprised the cashier)
        – coupon for Free $5 ToysRUs giftcard when you buy Planes or The Little Mermaid combo pack (coupon adjusted price from $29.99 to $19.99)
Total: $7.99 OOP and $5 giftcard

So…$20.98 OOP and still have a $5 giftcard for ToysRUs.

Thanks Hip2Save for all you do!!!

        • Debora

Thank you for posting that it worked 🙂

        • Shayla

I was told I could not roll these types of gift cards, even though they looked like normal gift cards. So YMMV.

  27. Ricinda

Got mine with both coupons this morning. Thank you.

  28. Katrina

My store was sold out! So frustrating to have something OOS on release day.

  29. Whit

I went in this morning to get my Planes blu ray. It was the Combo pack. Rings up for $29.99. Hand them the store coupon and then the manufacturer. I had no issues on them taking both. Great deal! Thank you 🙂

  30. Coolestbeing

Just got done… Bought little mermaid combo and planes both on bluray, they took both coupons and bringing each to 19.99 and 2 $5 gift cards, plus a $10 gift card with $40 purchase – $7 manufacturer coupon. Final cost $35 plus a $20 gift card… Not too bad!

  31. Ashley

I was told I could do the gift card or the MQ but that they do not allow both.

  32. Babs

I bought 2 copies of the Blu-Ray/DVD Combo. Shelf price said $29.99. I was ready and checked out at the video game section. I shared coupons with the manager who checked me out in the video game section since he was going to buy this for his 3 year old boy. I had 2 of the $7.00 man coupons, 1 of the $5.00 gift card wyb Planes TRU coupon, 1 $3.00 birthday coupon from TRU and 1 $5.00 off $25.00 TRU coupon from a postcard I received in the mail.

    Planes $16.51
    Sale $19.99 $29.99-$10.00
    $5.00 off $25.00 $19.99-$2.50
    $3.00 off $3.00 $17.49-$1.50
    $10 giftcard promo
    $5 giftcard promo
    Refund Price $6.51

    Planes $17.49
    Sale $19.99 $29.99-$10.00
    $5.00 off $25.00 $19.99-$2.50
    $3.00 off $3.00 $17.49-$0.00
    $10 giftcard promo
    $5 giftcard promo
    Refund Price $7.49

    Giftcard Promo $20.00

    $10 giftcard promo $10.00-
    $5 giftcard promo $5.00-
    $5 giftcard promo $5.00-

    Vendor coupon $7.00-
    Vendor coupon $7.00-

    Subtotal $20.00
    Tax $1.78
    Total $21.78

I walked out with a $20.00 giftcard so $1.78 for 2 Blu-ray/DVDs. I don’t know how it happened but it did. The manager said he would keep scanning my coupons until it kicks a coupon out.

  33. Megan

So if I want to buy the little mermaid and planes do I only need one of the TRU coupons to make them both $19.99 and the one coupon will give me a $5 gc for each movie?

  34. Annie

I bought 2 Planes BluRay, DVD, digital copy combos for $19.99 each, used two $7 printed coupons. I paid $28.78 and got a $20 Toys R Us gift card. I think I double-dipped on a deal. The two $5 gift card for buying the two Planes movie and $10 gift card for spending $40 on Disney movies. Thank you, Collin!!!!

  35. Jjs turner

I went in tonight and couldn’t find any of the Planes movie. An employee found me one in the back that was not blu ray and the coupons worked on it. It was the DVD + digital copy. 9.19 paid and got a $5 gift card. I was pleased.

  36. Kristin Donley

So Frustrated Toy R Us never ever has anything in stock 🙁
