Sorry for just now getting this up – better late than never, right? 🙂 – And I apologize for not posting a high and low last week… I guess life got the best of me!
This past week has been full of lots of highs for the Morgan family! First, my daughter, Piper, turns seven years old tomorrow (my baby is sure growing up!). We celebrated her birthday on Saturday with family and her entire first grade class. In order to keep all the kiddos entertained, we invited an awesome clown (well worth the investment in my opinion) who entertained the kiddos with lots of fun tricks and silly jokes.
I was also blessed to have both my aunt and cousin visiting from Texas at the birthday celebration. I only get to see them about once a year so it was really special to have them there for Piper’s party as well.
Luckily, we had time to take an all-girls picture which included my sister, Bryn, my mom, my cousin, and 2 aunts, my nieces, and myself and Piper.
My low is most definitely the fact that my Gluten-Free Birthday Cake was an almost complete flop! Thankfully, it tasted much better than it looked! And I was also grateful that we took the time to make another homemade (and very edible!) birthday cake for Piper and all her friends (as pictured at the very top).
[h2s_box]Every Wednesday, I share my high(s) and low(s) for the past week and I encourage you to do the same in the comment section below. My high(s) will simply be the best or most exciting thing that happened to me over the last week or so and my low(s) will be something not so great that took place. [/h2s_box]
