  1. Mitchell @ Frugal Finders

I just went to my local Walgreens that activates their sale prices early to check on the deodorant deal. The only variety that’s included in the sale that works with a coupon is the Degree Men Dry Protection.

And I can see why the Royal Dansk cookies have a 5-star rating…I picked up a tin of them and they’re almost half gone already! 😉

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

YUM! They sound delicious! I will have to snag a tin this week! 🙂

  2. juliesvoyage

Thanks for the early match ups!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are most welcome!

  3. Trisha

I just stopped at my local walgreens today and they had Purex laundry detergent buy 1, get 2 free. Not sure if this offer is good everywhere or just locally, but I was able to pick up 3 bottles (99 loads, regularly $17.97) for $5.99 plus tax.

    • Tiffany

This was on sale all week, there were coupons that made it even better… there were 1.00/1 printables and 1.50/2 printables. I didn’t have the 1.00/1 coupons but I had several of the 1.50/2 so I was able to pick up 12 @ 1.33 each b/c they were 5.99 at my store also

  4. Sarah

Bud/Bud Light deal is very good 😉

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

    • Ruth

  5. Mike C

Royal Dansk will be a double dip tonight. Week ending 11/23 BOGO, 11/24 $1.99ea. So tonight they will be BOGO at $1.99, $.99ea.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! I’ll add to the Wags Double Dip post!

    • Tiffany

Have you done this yet? Not all overlaps end up being a double dip, just curious bc this would be great as a gift.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Hi Tiffany,

It sounds like this double dip is not working based on other reader comments. 🙁

  6. Erin

I have a $2/$10 Walgreens purchase coupon that printed from the Cat machine yesterday. Is it $10 before manufacturer coupons or after?

    • Tiffany

in the past it has always worked to be after coupons it has to be 10.00… years past, I would have it kick off the coupon once I dropped below the amount (in your case 10.00)

    • Andria

your total will have to be $10 AFTER all other WAGS coupons but BEFORE any MF coupons! hth!

  7. Erica

I wasn’t planning on going to walgreens until Thursday for the “Black Friday” deals but I see there are some freebies that start tomorrow that are the same as Thursday (tums, swisse, zims). Do you think they will restock those items for the Thursday sale or should I change my entire scenario I have planned out for Thursday and go tomorrow?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

To be on the safe side, I would suggest going tomorrow (plus it will likely be a lot less crowded). You could also always call your local store to see how much they have in-stock.

  8. Barbara

I don’t think the coupon $2.50 off 2 Post Cereals AND 1 Coffee 6 oz+ coupon found in the 10/13 SS (Exp. 11/24!) will work because it expires on the day the deal starts

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Barbara,

That’s why I added the expiration date to that coupon, so that reader are aware that it can only be used on 11/24 (the day the sale starts). So it will work on Sunday – just not after Sunday.

      • Barbara

So coupons are good on the day they expire? I have been assuming the last day they are usable is the day prior. Thank you for clearing that up.

  9. jenny

your math for the pampers is wrong it should be pay as low as 7.99 plus get 1.50 back even better deal

  10. angel

Thank you for all the matchups. Could you pl give the link to the Beer Rebate?

  11. kim

does anyone know if you can receive multiple RR for products. For example at CVS you are usually limited to one or two household.

    • Sandy

There is no limit to the number of RR you can accumulate, unless a store manager limits you on the quantity of product you buy. You need to do separate transactions for like items to receive a RR for each item purchased. For example, if you plan on buying 3 Swisse vitamins, you must purchase them individually for a total of 3 transactions or you will only receive 1 RR if you purchase all 3 in one transaction. You can purchase different items which have RR associated in one transaction and still get all RRs. So, if you plan on buying 1 Swisse vitamin, and 1 Gelusil, you can buy both in one transaction and still get the Swisse RR and the Gelusil RR. I hope that helps.

    • Laura

Yes, you can receive multiple rr for the same product, but they need to be bought in separate transaction.

  12. Lauren

Are the register rewards for the diapers and the ziploc containers limit 1?

  13. Claudia

    Yeah.. I knew there will be a sale for softsoap… I still have 0.75/1 coupons… so $0.75 each…

  14. Claudia

For the bud-light beer, my ad says: $5 savings rewards on your next purchase, so I don’t have to wait for my money. 🙂 , so sad because my husband doesn’t like this kind of beer.

    • J

My husbands gonna be rooting me on for this! Lol, he’s been gone for 2 weeks so this will make him happy 😀

  15. Ashley

Awe those royal dansk cookies always remind me of my grandma! I’ll have to buy myself one and one for my mom to see if she remembers that too. 🙂

  16. jenn

is anyone else having trouble with the merci facebook coupon?

  17. Beth

If you download the walgreens app to your smartphone, there is a button on the main page that says “District looks” claim it for $1.00 off of the hunger games covergirl makeup. That paired can be paired with MQ. I bought $23.00 worth of covergirl cosmetics today, and after coupons my total with tax…was $5.69! + a $5.00 RR 🙂

    • pam

Does the mobile app coupon only come off one time? Or multiple times?

      • Beth

It takes $1.00 off each item purchased. The little glosstini nail polishes are bogo get one 1/2 off, and you can use the 3/2 p&g coupon so total $4.48 minus $2.00 and minus $3.00 it’s actually a moneymaker! Plus you get the $5 RR and the free movie ticket.
And the shadow pot eye shadows are bogo get one 1/2 at 3.99 ea, and you can use the $4.00 off p&g coupon. So total of $5.98 minus $2.00 and minus $4.00 it’s an awesome deal. And they would make great stocking stuffers!

        • Stacia

I did that yesterday also. But I am wondering if it will qualify for the movie ticket because underneath each one it says -1.00 off. I’ll try though! 🙂

  18. CW

The $1 off butterball turkey bacon didn’t work since the coupon is 1 cent over the cost. They wouldn’t adjust it down so I had to get two.

Also the Royal Dansk cookies have limited edition Disney tins!

  19. Rebecca S

Thanks colin!! Got my deals today and loved my savings!!! Did have to school my cashier though. He tried telling me each item that produced a rr had to be done in seperate transaction. Uh, no, that’s only if it’s the same item. So glad he listen to me, did not want to spend an hour checking out!!

  20. Tracy

I just went to Walgreens and Rite Aid. What a great week!! Just wanted to say thank you Colin because without your matchups I don’t think I would bother couponing at all. You save us so much money. I think you’re awesome!!!

  21. Lisa

There was a red plum coupon a while back for 75 cents off 1 pkg Reynolds Foil Wrap. Pair that with the Wags $1.29 deal and you can get tin foil for 54 cents!!!

    • Tracy

I just printed the coupon from redplum and it is for 35 sq ft or larger. The in ad Q is for 30 sq ft 🙁

      • Lisa

I was able to use my coupons today and they scanned fine. I didn’t read the fine print though and got mine a couple weeks ago. Maybe try it and see?

  22. Abby.

IF I USE A REGISTER REWARD IN A TRANSACTION THAT I AM SUPPOSE TO EARN BALANCE REWARD ,WILL I STILL GET MY REWARD OR NOT?YOUR ANSWER WILL BE APPRECIATED.

    • AJ

You can use a Register Reward to earn Balance Rewards, and Balance Rewards to get Register Rewards, you just cannot use Balance Rewards to get Balance Rewards. HTH

      • Sarah

So, I went to Wags today. I asked the cashier about the Degree and Dove deoderants since the ad said 2.6-3oz, $1.99 but DIDN’T say “select varieties” or something similar. I asked if the Adrenaline series would work as long as the size matched the sale. She said they should. So, I picked up a few and they rang up at $4 . Cashier called the mgr who said she couldn’t adjust the price that much, and it didn’t matter that the ad didn’t have exclusions. Anyone else experience anything like this? Is it worth calling corporate?

  23. Heather

Just a heads up, the Swisse coupon comes up invalid on both the Womens and Mens. The cashier/manager was seriously questioning it because I would be making money off the deal. It wasn’t until she called the other Walgreens store in my town that she agreed to manually enter the coupon.

    • Monica

Beeped for me too, but overridden. The FARR items are pictured right on the coupon this time at least! $4.30 MM for me after tax.

  24. Dee

    Gelusil coup is gone.

  25. Sue

Will RR adjust down? If you earn a $2RR and your next purchase is $1.99 will they adjust down? thanks

    • couponingintherealworld

No it will not adjust down, you will need a “filler” look in the add for anything costing a few cents, a pencil, plastic cup, use the $.39 tape …something like that, you end up paying a few cents but its worth it, especially when the filler is a useful item 🙂

    • couponingintherealworld

No it will not adjust down, you will need a filler item, like the $.39 tape or look in the ad or clearance for something priced a few cents, a plastic cup, pencil, etc. Yes you end up paying a few cents but its worth it, espe jammy when your filler is a useful item 🙂

  26. lollie

I am in Utah and I don’t see the Swisse coupon in the 11/24 was it regional?

    • Liz

I am in WV. I didn’t receive the $5 Swisse coupon either.

  27. Karen

For the Glad Cling wrap I found and email in my junk mail from Glad with subject: Play the Great Stink Escape… with a link to pledge and get $1/1 coupon. I have 4 coupons but my Walgreens was out of stock from the last sale on these but I see it is the same price at Weis Markets this week too so I don’t need to get a raincheck!

  28. kathy yates

The Blue Bell ice cream is a good deal in itself at $3.99! BUT…..you can go to the Bluebell.com site once a month and print 2 coupons when they are available. I printed two at $1.00 each making the Blue Bell $2.99 each! My husband is happy! That’s his favorite ice cream.

  29. Nica

Can anybody please tell me if wags accepts expired rr’s? Is there something I can do if my rr expired? Is there somebody I can call? TIA!

    • mkw

In my region, Cub foods will take RR that are thirty days expired.
