This was a couple of years ago in Chesterfield , Va but not only would they not take a coupon but they took the items off of the sale price. The cashier who I believe was also the manager said to me ” You are already getting a “Steal” I just left the store and went online and I was able to use online and the items stayed on sale but I did have to pay shipping. This used to be one of my favorite stores but after that incident I haven’t shopped there once.

Yes you can combine with mailer coupons. Those go under “coupon, gift card, merchandise credit” and you can use more than one (i.e. Groupon plus mailer coupon), the $30 off $100 goes under “offer code.”

Yes, you can. I stacked the Groupon, $20 off $20 mailer coupon and $30 off $100 coupon. My subtotal was $107, I paid $14.94, plus the $20 cost of the Groupon.

I bought the Groupon for $25 for $50 worth of credit at Coldwater Creek. However, I was told by the store in Eden Prairie, MN, that the Groupon is applied BEFORE any sale price. So at the Eden Prairie store, “50% off clearance” was advertised. I bought two tops, one for $69.99 and one for $29.99. So (easy math here) my total should have been about $55 minus the $50 Groupon = about $5. Nope, $29.98!!!! So you’re paying that $25 savings right back to the store! The manager corrected it for me, but it took at least a half hour of complaining. And she complained about how the customers do not understand the Groupon and they have had nonstop complaints about it.
That is the way all Coldwater coupons are applied in store – it is so frustrating. If you use it online you will not have that problem. It is one of the most frustrating things about that store.
I had basically the same thing happen today, but the manager actually divided my items into 2 orders, with the Groupon going towards the one with the sale items and not the regular priced one. When I figured out it was going to cost me more than $20.00 more by applying it that way, I had a fit. She blatantly did this, knowing I was going to pay more by the way she split it up. I am furious and ready to go to corporate about it! I will NEVER shop there again!!
