  2. pharm_chick

  3. pdxsongwriter

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      😉

  4. Shea

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      🙂

  5. erin

Those reindeer drink bottles are adorable. Great share thanks. Pretty sure you can pick up pipe cleaners and pompons (the red noses) at dollar tree too.

    • mkw

dollar tree has bags of googly eyes too.

  6. daisy

  7. Kathy

  8. Melgie

another cute, fun and entertaining video. Love it:) I like the hot cocoa in the jar. I’m gonna get my friends some this coming Christmas..:)

  9. Cq

Lol I loved this video! I am not crafty or creative either so this is right up my ally. You could also add a tag to the beer saying “Happy Holidaze”
    Thanks!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great idea! 🙂

  10. kimberly

We did the hot cocoa idea last year but put it in the disposable pastry/frosting bags and everyone loved them! Got the idea off pinterest. This is off subject but I love your kitchen! I hope you do a video on your new house like you did last time :-))

  11. Stephanie

You are hilarious! I’m a lot like you… I’m totally not crafty! But you had some cute ideas… Thanks for making me laugh this afternoon! Have a great holiday and you make up for not being crafty with your couponing and deal skills! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awe… thanks!

  12. Ashley

any good ideas for little cheap gifts for our mail lady? of course with all these great deals lately she is at my house a lot!

    • fran

How about a gift basket with HBA items (shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, razor blades, toothpaste, toothbrush, nail polish, emery boards, etc.). Or if you have those cute make up bags from the Target deal, fill one with some little goodies.

    • shawynabelle

We give coffee mugs with coffee samples and cookies

    • Nikki Allen

Take a bag of m&ms (use the $2.50/1 q!) and add a bow and a tag with the message Thanks for driving Miles & Miles to deliver our mail!” Put emphasis on the M & M in Miles & Miles using a different color or font to play off the fact you are using M&Ms. Be creative and make the tag look like a postcard with a fake “Merry Christmas” stamp, etc. This is what I’m doing this year!

  13. Kris

OMG ~ I can’t stop laughing! Thank you for that video…it’s exactly what I needed today and exactly how ‘crafty’ I am!!! You have no idea how much I/we can relate to you…thank you just for being you! And for all that you do for all of us followers all year round. Wishing you and your entire family a Merry Christmas!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thank you for that. Merry Christmas! 🙂

  14. Ashley

We did the ‘ReinBeer’ last year and they were a big hit. My kids usually gift beer or wine to their aunt and uncles, but this made it a little more personal.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Cute idea!

  15. tina

      • Rose

Thanks, Maggie. I know a lot of people love Rebox, but I never use them and with 3 little ones and tons of snow, I’m not venturing outside to try to figure it out. :/ I just can’t see so many codes going in the trash if someone might like them.

        • Crystal W.

Hi Rose! I would truly appreciate however many you can send me. we watch redbox movies a couple times a week! They will not go to waste! So feel free to send what you have! tellgodthanku@yahoo.com!

          • Rose

  19. kate

LoL Oh Collin, you are so cute. I love that you can laugh at yourself! Those reindeer beer bottles are adorable. I’m sending my friend beers from around the world for Christmas and I’ve already bought tiny santa hats to put on some of them. Looks like I’m going to go buy some “bendable yarn” (hahahahahaha love it) and googly eyes, too!

  20. Michelle

Sorry that this is off subject, but I’m trying to order off of Toys r Us and I cannot find where to sign into my Shoprunner account to get free 2 day shipping. It usually pops up during the checkout process. I do have an active account. Anybody else having this problem?

    • Nikki Allen

Try logging in on shoprunner’s site first and then going to Toys R Us by going through shoprunner.

      • Michelle

I tried that. Didn’t work. Still charging me shipping..this is so crazy! lol

  21. Darcie

On the jar of hot chocolate it is cute to also tie on a candy cane for peppermint flavor! Thanks for your fun and happy video Collin! We love you. Merry Christmas!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Merry Christmas! 🙂

  22. Marcie

  23. DC

LOL thanks for the laugh and the cute ideas!!

  24. Michelle C

Have to say what the others have already said, I’m not crafty, AT ALL, either, and I totally get that just the thought of doing crafts sounds exhausting. We can’t be everything! So you are terrific at so much already, who needs to be crafty also. Thansk for the corny video, we love them!

  25. Mommyin fl

Love the adult beverages!!! Still laughing great job!

  26. Jen

    You’re adorable 🙂

  27. Mary V.

Thanks for the great ideas! I’ll definitely be using the beverage idea but will be using juice boxes instead! Thanks Collin!

  28. Krista

You are so much fun to watch! Thanks for making my day a bit brighter.

  29. Colleen

You’re so cute Collin! I like thrifty easy ideas 😀

  30. Geena

    Hey Collin, u r definitely not a loser….love ur site n ur business idea…u r cool….!

  31. Michele

    Haha….You are GREAT!

  32. April

I was laughing with tears in my eyes. I also have grand craft intentions that always seem to fall flat. These ideas are great. Maybe tying a measuring spoon to the bath salts and adding chocolate dipped spoons to the cocoa with a peppermint stick like someone else suggested. I have put DVD movies with candy before as inexpensive gifts. This year things are very tight so for teachers I am using all those awesome penny deal school supplies with a box of Kleenex and some hand sanitizer.

    • W.S.

      Great idea!

  33. Angel

love the reindeer bottles idea & the video ! made me smile 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Merry Christmas! 🙂

  41. Jill F

Great video Collin! I bought a couple of cute cups on clearance from CVS for 99 cents each. They are the fun tumbler kind in chevron prints with straws. I bought some Crystal Light sticks and put about 8 in each cup and then I’m going to wrap a little bow around the cup and put some kind of cute greeting/holiday wish on it. Or if I can’t find one, maybe just Cheers!

  42. swati

Great video….my 5year old peeked in when u were showing those beverage reindeers…. And he goes, “KKEEEUUUUTTEEE, WOW MOM WE SHALL MAKE THESE AT HOME”… Guess we HAVE to do it now…. 🙂 Loved all the ideas, especially the hot chocolate one 🙂

    • Rose

My 5 year old also wanted to make the hot chocolate jars—for US! lol I think we’ll combine the two ideas, and make the hot chocolate jars with the reindeer face/antlers on them! Super cute!

  43. Alyssa

Oh my goodness, I needed a good laugh today, that brought tears to my eyes! Thank you for this awesome video! I love giving too, but my not so crafty self gets in the way and then I just give up or just spend to much. Thank you for these wonderful frugal, yet thoughtful gift ideas. I know we are all busy, so I also like that these are simple and quick to put together!
Have a great Christmas with your family and friends!

  44. Mary

Thank you for the laugh! This is what I would like on video haha! Cute ideas 🙂

  45. April

Might try the bath salts if I can find white ones I saw a thing online where someone used socks, cut the foot part off and tied at the top to make a snowman hat on a jar then added eyes and a nose. Maybe a tag with something that says when you feel as chilly as a snowman add to a hot bath.

  46. Woman_on_Pause

Bath Salts! Oh wait, for baths. Whew. I was worried for a second.

  47. Angela

I really needed a laugh, Thank You! You are too cute 🙂

  48. Keyko

    Rose,

If you have any redbox codes left I would love one! lm182@hotsheet.com

  49. Amanda

    You make me smile 😉

  50. Cammie

Two words Collin. You’re Awesome!!!! Ok, technically that’s three, but you rock!! 🙂
