A few people at my husband’s work were complaining the other day how much Christmas presents were costing them, and he came home and asked me how much I had spent on presents so far (I’m almost done) and it was much, much, much less than his co-workers, and we have more kids! I used all my considerable Walgreen’s Black Friday overage on gifts, and saved up Amazon gift cards from Swagbucks all year, so I’ve kept my out-of-pocket $$ really low. Even though he’s never questioned my couponing, I think he appreciates it a lot more now. 🙂
