Heads up for all you Walgreens shoppers (which includes me!). Starting this Sunday, 12/15, Walgreens will be offering up lots of great deals including some awesome sales on toys and more!

Here are just a couple of the highlights:

The Crayola Tabletop Easel and Portfolio is a *HOT* deal! Check out the reader email I received previously regarding this deal when it was available during Black Friday: I just got back from Walgreens and found the Crayola Table Top Easel and Portfolio priced at just $5.99 (reg. $24.99!). It includes dry erase crayons, markers, paper, etc and my kiddos love it.  I’ve seen this elsewhere priced consistently at $19.99, so this is a heck of a deal that I thought other people might be interested in also.

anyone know if that my little pony coupon works with the fashion pony pictured?

  2. Sjack

    Awesome deals , tysm.

  3. Trinity

I checked the price of the Crayola tabletop and mine was still 24.99. Can someone post the UPC for the one that is on sale for 4.99? Thanks in advance!!

    • Mo

This sale does not start until Sunday.

    • Christine

I bought it the last time it was posted on here and the price did not go down until the cashier scanned my card. Hth

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, please keep in mind that the sales highlighted in the post do not start until Sunday, 12/15.

  4. jv

Heads up: Littlest pet shop & My Little pony will DD tomorrow. This week sale is 40% off, plus the BOGO deal for Sunday.

    • Joy

Hi jv.. what is DD? My grand daughter is now into my little pony stuff.. what kind of prices do they have for MLP sale of bogo..and this is at Walgreens? thnx JOY

      • Stacy

DD is double dip. The stars align when there is a sale on the same item for 2+ weeks in a row, and usually on Saturday nights the next weeks sales become active while this weeks are still going on. The BOGO from this week will intermingle with next weeks 40%.. Making one heck of a deal!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Nick

Hey Collin, there is a potential double dip on my little pony on Saturday. It makes for a SUPER awesome deal if the stars align lol.

The my little pony princess twilight sparkle is $16.99 regular price at Walgreens. This week they are 40% off and next week as you mentioned are B1G1 Free.

Double Dip scenario for Saturday only:

2 My little pony princess twilight sparkle $16.99= $33.99
    – $16.99 (one should ring free)
    – $6.79 (other one will be 40% off)
    – (2) $5/1 my little pony MQs

    Total: .20 or .10 each!

(Someone will just have to try it on Saturday to see if it double dips).

    • Lisa

How do I know before I check out if the DD is in action?

      • Casey P

You won’t know until you try. I have heard around 6 pm is when the new deals are in system.

    • lovingandlaughing

Yes, report back if anyone tries that My Little Pony deal! The a Double Dip only happens on Saturday evenings…right? We have a big snowstorm coming in tomorrow afternoon so I doubt I’ll be able to try it.

    • NL

when does the sunday sale start on saturday?

      • amiko

my 2 walgreens nearby starts at 3pm saturday

    • Nick

Disregard my post. The SKU #s don’t match the coupon. THIS IS A NOGO. However, they may still double dip which should still make them a good price.

    • Terezia C.

I think the $5 off for princess twilight sparkle is the large talking one that had been on sale for around $40 in stores. Not sure if it will work on the fashion pony, but definitely worth a shot!

  6. Laura

Ahhh!! I’m so excited about this deal!
    Perfect for Christmas ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Lisa

I have been out of the loop…is it a known fact to the cashiers that they take coupons on free items? Also wondering about the $5 off $20 Crayola purchase with the easel…and a possible double dip with the b1g1 free Crayola items this week when buying with the easel Saturday night. Also is the jingle cash still available Saturday?

    • Lisa

the $5 off $20 Crayola ‘coupon’…sorry about that

    • Brianna

My WAGs takes coupons for free with no issues, but you may want to bring their coupon policy just in case. And I’m not sure about the Crayola question, but Jingle Cash should
      Still be printing on Saturday.

  8. Judy

Anyone else having trouble finding the My Little Pony 1.00 coupon?

    • Karla

I found it when I followed the above link directly to Hasbro. ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Belle

If the crayola coupons are $1 off $5+ and the play-doh $1 of $2.50 or more, doesn’t this mean that I can only use one coupon (per transaction)? Even if I’m buying two items (technically it refers to an amount of cash you’re spending regardless of the number of items) TIA!

    • Nick

The coupon needs something to attach to so you wouldn’t be able to use (5) on a single item totaling $25.

    • Doran

Yes Belle you are correct! The coupon is stating an amount so if you buy two or more in the same transaction, you should still use only one (even if each item is higher than what the coupon states) as it is incorrect to try to use a coupon per item even if you have other items to attach to another coupon(s)! If you want to use more than one coupon, I suggest you pay in different transactions ๐Ÿ˜‰

  10. CMarie

Wondering the same as another poster…I didn’t think they would take coupons on free items?

    • Nick

Print a copy of their coupon policy and keep it with you. It clearly says two coupons can be used on a bogo sale.

    • amiko

Nick is right! up to 2 coupons can be use for BOGO sales as long as the total won’t be 0.Bring the store coupon policy with you, sometimes the second coupon will beep so the cashier will manually enter it

  11. chrissy1925

I thought the $1 off a $2.50 playdough COMPOUND meant that it could only be used on the play doh and not on a toy set??? Can someone clarify please? My Walgreens is pretty picky…

    • Jennifer H

I tried to use the play-doh coupon on a toy at Meijer and the register wouldn’t accept it. Just FYI

    • Kim

I bought the same exact play-doh set on the above picture and tried to use the coupon at Walgreens, but the register wouldn’t accept it for some reason.

That’s a good question, what exactly is considered, “playdough compound”?

  12. Nicole

Can someone explain DD , double dip?

    • mel

Many Walgreens stores activate their Sunday sales on Saturday evening, usually after 5pm, while the current weeks sale prices are still active. So it is possible to get both sale prices if there are overlapping deals. This is opposite if you shop at CVS, b/c at CVS the register picks the better of the 2 sales once they activate the new weekly ad. As an example, a few wks ago, something was on sale $3.99, then starting sunday, they were BOGO 50% off. So, the register gave me the current $3.99 sale price + 1/2 off $3.99 for the new ad! PLUS, if there are points associated with both deals, you get the current wks + following wks points! Hope that helps!

  13. Cherie

    No more crayola coupons ๐Ÿ™

  14. Jacque

Crayola coupon is no longer printing

    • ali

still worked for me this morning!!

  15. Robin

    Crayola NLA!

  16. Michelle

Thanks for posting. The local Walgreens here had the Nerf Rebelle for 9.99 and buy one get one free. I had 6 of the $5 off coupons so I was able to get 6 of them for free! It also let me use the crayola coupon and I partnered that with the Washable Markers coupon. The Crayola Easel show $24.99 at the store here but it does ring up at the $5.99! This will be perfect when we take road trips to the families house. Thanks again for posting!!!!

    • thuyle

Michelle, where was the Nerf coupon from? SS insert? Thanks.

  17. Jane

I just bought 2 of the twilight sparkles for .19 total!!! We will give them both away as part of our 11 days of giving:) Happy shopping!

    • marjorie

hi jane, how did you get that for .19? where is your location, that’s one of my daughter’s wishlist ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. Jane

I am in Montana – the deals often double dip on Saturday. This weeks sale is 40% off so the pony rings up at 10.19, then next weeks sale is BOGO – so the total price for 2 ponies is $10.19 minus the 2 – $5 off coupons = .19c

  19. Jane

I just got back from Walgreen’s, I had the cashier to price check the Crayola Easel and it was $24.99, so I told him that I didn’t want it and I went to leave when I realized he didn’t scan my card so I had him recheck the price with my card and was $5.99 so I picked up 2! Great deal.

Just got back from my Walgreens. I got 4 of the crayola easels for 5.99 with my Walgreens card. I also bought birthday gifts from the B1G1 for $6.99 making each gift $3.50. Total spent $70. Also received $10 jingle cash to use this week. The Crayola Easels were hidden in the crayola isle very top shelf with no sign so might have to look. I have a little girl who is 6 and has already been invited to 5 parties this year. My gift closet is stuffed for quite some time.

  22. chelsea

The my lil pony coupon worked with no issue for me on the fashion ponies..

  23. Mary

The star wars guys don’t ring up b1g1 at least today

    • Shauna

They didn’t ring up b1g1 for me either.

  24. Melinda

I got 4 of the ponies and 2 crayola easels! It was awesome! I have never double dipped before!

  25. Laura

Star Wars didn’t ring up for me today either ๐Ÿ™
The nerf rebelle fun deal worked for me though

  26. Vette

I tried to use that play doh coupon on that exact item pictured above but the register was not accepting. The store manager said that I had to get the exact play doh toy that was pictured on the coupon which she said they didn’t carry. Is anyone else having this trouble? On the coupon it does say “good for pictured item only” in small print but then why would it say on “any” play doh compound set? I’m so confused!

    • Angie

I used 2 coupons tonight without a problem.

  27. Jacque

The Star Wars Hasbro action figures did not ring up as a buy one, get one free item this morning. My cashier was wonderful and called a manager over. He allowed her to adjust the price so that one was $5.99 and the other was $4, thus both were $9.99 together. The same was true for the play-doh sets. Again, he authorized the cashier to price adjust. I’m blessed to have a very cooperative and easy-going walgreens store!

  28. Jacque

Woohoo! Even though the crayola coupon wouldn’t print this morning, I tried again after church and was able to print it. I just got back from Walgreens where I scored the last 2 crayola easels! Thanks so much Collin!

  29. Kelly

The Star Wars action figures weren’t BOGOF at my store either.. ๐Ÿ™ Oh well… they are still a pretty good deal with the coupon. I was at Kohl’s because I had a $10 off purchase coupon, and they had the action figures normally $14.99 on sale for $11.99, so for $1.99 plus tax, it worked out to be a good deal.

  30. Angie

At my local walgreens in the ad had buy one get one free on hasbro items.. I took in two $2 off coupons and found a twin pack of the transformer dolls for $9.99 and got another twin pack for free. So that is $9.99 – $4= $5.99 for 4 dolls! and they are large dolls! – The toys were not labeled but I just showed them the ad and they changed the prices.
