As most of you know, 9/16/12, was the start of the new Walgreens Balance Rewards Program! Even sweeter, on 5/5/13, they started a new point system in which you can redeem your points once you reach just 1,000 points. Please head here to read all about it.

The pony’s and Spider-Man ring up B1G1 free, but the Star Wars 12 inch figures do not. I was able to do the same deal posted above with Spider-Man and the $2 Titan coupons from the hasbro site, but Star Wars was a no go at two different walgreens. Must be a select varieties thing . 🙂

I had $36 expired for 5 days, but I called in and asked a manager and they accepted my expired RRs, provided that I come at the agreed upon time when that specific manager is at work.

I went tonight to buy diapers before the sale ended and found a crayola easel set just laying on a random shelf. I am new to Walgreen Rewards system. Last week I bought a heating pad ($34) at Walgreen because I had $25 Walgreen Rewards money which was going to expired last week. Now I want to take the heating pad back to the store because I am not satisfied with how the heating pad performs.
First of all, can I return the heating pad that I bought with using mostly Walgreen Reward money ? Will they give me back my $25 Walgreen Rewards money ? Or will they give me the store credit ?

Just FYI, I tried to get the almay wipes, and they would not let me use the $5/2 coupon because they said it caused overage. I even asked if they could scale it down just to zero it out and they said they could not do that. Don’t know if this is typical for Walgreens as I don’t typically shop here. Any thoughts?
my Walgreens adjusts the coupon value to reflect the price so there is no overages. Might want to ask for a manager, maybe the cashier is not familiar with that procedure.
FYI- the almonds are still ringing up at 2/$3 then giving the BOGO so $1.50 each!

No double dip tomorrow Dec 21st as the Sunday ad will not be activated until Sunday. The ads previously had been activated on Saturday but this week store employees got word not hang the tags till Sunday and that the ad would NOT ring till Sunday the 21st.

I wanted to note I got a great deal at Walgreens this week with the $1/1 DeMets Turtles coupon(no longer available). As I was browsing around the candy aisle, I noticed that the 2.9 oz. boxes of DeMet’s Turtles were on sale this week 2/$3. The coupon is for 2.9 oz. and up! So, I was able to score them for only $.50/box! I had two coupons so I got two boxes of DeMets Turtles for only $1 total! WOOHOO!! Will make great little Christmas gifts. I plan on giving one of them (along with some yummy smelling hand lotion from BBW) to our post office carrier!! So, THANKS AGAIN and Merry Christmas, Collin!!!
