My store had it, but it wouldn’t scan, and I couldn’t go back and see what stores were participating, so I couldn’t redeem. 🙁 Oh well.
That happened to me last summer when the app was new and they were doing constant freebies. I submitted a complaint over the corporate website and the owner for the local store called me and said they are supposed to give the items free even if they won’t scan in the app. He let me come back in at my convenience and pick up my freebie. Last week there was a freebie for a 20 oz of 7-UP TEN brand products.. I had Sunkist TEN which was included but would not scan but the clerk just punched it in free manually. I was told they are supposed to do that for the freebies not turn customers away.
Every time we go to 7-11 for one of these deals they post a note on the door and say that they are not participating, so BEWARE!
My store didn’t have the milkeyway, but they had twix and snickers. The store let me alternate it since it was the same company, and it took the app with no problem. Worth asking 🙂
