Where did you get that cute shirt from?

    • Samantha

      I don’t see a cute shirt…

      • AG

She’s referring to the last photo with the seahorse necklace.

      • Daphne

        Great! Thanks 🙂

      • Lynn

Funny! My first thought was about the cute shirt, too! 🙂

      • Ashleigh

For another great clothing site try twice.
        liketwice.com/tJTYe
This online site has tons of Talbot, Calvin Klein, Urban Outfitters and other items for $9.95 and up.
I was able to get a free item because when I signed up it gave me a $10 credit then I used SURVEY10 as a promo code for another $10 off. Oh yeah and you dont have to use your CC on free items! I snagged a pair of jeans lolol

Collin : did your bank charge an international fee on top? I noticed last time I ordered when Amazon was offering this price on an owl… I got charged 6.00 for an international fee.. THANKS

      • Dorothy

        I LOVE your shirt!

  2. StephS

FYI, most of this jewelry comes from sellers in China, be prepare to wait several weeks for delivery.

    • Jenny

Yes, it is and they fall apart very easily.

  3. Pharmchick

I got a cute set of (7!) midi rings for 0.69!!

  4. Sarah

This is cheap stuff from china most likely containing lead and other chemicals! There’s a reason it’s so cheap!

  5. Penny

As StephS said, alot of these come from China. So they take forever to arrive or they don’t arrive at all. I recently ordered about 5 different things. Three of them arrrived and the other 2 never did even though I was told they shipped. Maybe they never made it thru customs. I inquired the original seller and they promptly did reply and offer a refund. So either way, I was happy with what I received for the price and atleast I was refunded for the ones that did not show up.

  6. mary

I bought these last time and when I saw they were from China, I threw them right in the trash.

    • Samantha

That’s rude to China. You know a lot of the stuff we buy in the U.S. is made in China, right?!

      • SK

Samantha, I completely agree with you, I know it is none of my business and this post is not about it… but seriously, people can be so ignorant!!!!!

  7. Suzy

Oh no it is too good to be true. I just ordered some and did not look that they ship from china. Sigh

  8. Sally

I think everyone’s expectations are a little high. You can’t expect quality when something costs 99 cents WITH free shipping from China. Just throwing that out there.

    • Samantha

I totally agree with you,Sally! People want the best for next to nothing and that’s not how it works.

    • SK

Couldn’t agree more with you. Where do you think it was coming from when you saw the price. You don’t get stuff at these prices even at Walmart!!!

  9. Megann

Honestly I don’t understand why you all have to make comments. Have you bought cheap jewelry ever in your life? The majority of it comes from china. Go to Claire’s, Walmart, heck even Macys. It’s basically all imported! Please stop being so high and mighty and if you don’t want to buy the jewelry than don’t. Also learn to keep the comments to yourself unless it’s important to share! I feel some people just feel they have to down everything.

    • audrea

      so true Megann!!!!

    • denise

      Megan.. I You Rock!🎸

    • Jenny

I think it’s great to inform people of where some of these things come from. 🙂

    • Samantha

      Agree!!!

  10. Scissorchic

Am I the only one that noticed the brown leather bracelet has the symbol of the deathly hallows??? Harry potter nerd!

    • Jennifer

I was thinking the same thing. That is definitely the Deathly Hallows. LOVE HARRY POTTER! 😀

    • SK

Love Harry Potter but completely missed seeing that.. now I have to get it 😉

    • Susie

Haha! I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed 🙂

  11. lauraS.

i have a few of these jewlery from china. most took a lot less time to come than they had said. i get so many complements on it each time i wear them. very impressed.

  12. JulieA

I bought several pieces. I intend to use them for craft projects, and inexpensive gifts. Thanks for posting!

  13. Suzy

I love the ones that Colin posted of the all white, or all black, LOVE and leather on the top of her post. Has anyone ordered these and or rec’d them ? Are they as adorable as they look ?????? Please let me know ! Thanks !!

  14. amy

YES I ordered 1 a few weeks ago and although it was only 75. cents… my bank charged a 6 surcharge for international credit card fee so I ended up paying more for it than I wanted to.. I didnt realize at the time that it was coming from China! HOWEVER, I did receive it and it was nice looking and seemed of good quality!

  15. nicole

BE CAREFUL ORDERING THIS CHEAP JEWELRY FROM CHINA. I ORDERED SOME IN THE PAST (FROM A DIFFERENT SELLER – IT ALL LOOKS THE SAME) AND TESTED FOR LEAD WITH AN AT HOME KIT- EVERY PIECE I ORDERED SHOWED A HIGH AMOUNT OF LEAD!

I DID THE MORE ACCURATE TEST, WHICH CALLS FOR YOU TO SOAK THE ITEMS OVERNIGHT IN VINEGAR AND THEN TEST THE VINEGAR THE NEXT DAY. THE VINEGAR EATS AWAY AT THE COATING ON THE JEWELRY AND CAUSES THE LEAD TO LEACH OUT INTO THE SOLUTION. THE VINEGAR WAS BLACK THE NEXT MORNING – I KNEW BEFORE I EVEN TESTED IT THAT IT WAS GOING TO SHOW A STRONG LEAD READING (WHICH IT DID).

    • SK

That is what worried me when I saw the couple pieces I bought arrived. They look too good to be true and my husband kept telling me that they must be loaded with lead which is why they are probably banned from being sold directly… hence being sold online… for so cheap. They look so cute though… I have the Owl, the peacock pendant and the hair piece. SO tempted to buy more… at this price you cannot go wrong… but the lead factor worries me……guess I will pass for now. 🙁

  16. Nancy

Lead doesn’t hurt you unless you intend to eat the jewelry. And it’s not banned in the US except in paint. Geez people, I’ve seen less complaining by a group of 80 year old women!

    • Em

You really ought to research because your facts are wrong.

      • Nancy

You do realize the cheap jewelry you buy at Target. Walmart, Claire’s, etc is most likely made of lead, right? Again, lead paint is banned in the US, not lead itself.

        • Em

I don’t buy cheap jewlrey. “Again” do your research.

        • Cindy

There are federal and state laws regulating the amount of lead and cadmium (a substitute for lead) in children’s jewelry. The federal law is called Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (2008). The cheap jewelry on Amazon is not marketed to children and is therefore exempt from the law. No one should be giving any of these items to kids. They don’t have to put the items in their mouth to get lead poisoning. Just getting it on their fingers and eating a snack or meal afterward can transfer lead into their bodies. If any adults decide to buy and wear the jewelry, they should wash their hands every time they touch the items.

By the way, any company (Target, Walmart, Claire’s, etc.) that imports jewelry is required to conduct third-party testing for lead and cadmium. I’m not saying that items with lead won’t find their way in stores, but it’s still far safer to buy cheap jewelry from a retailer than to get it directly from China.

  17. A

I am certainly no stranger to buying inexpensive jewelry but I feel (maybe wrongly) that if it’s coming from somewhere like Icing or Claire’s that there is some control over the metal content. With something sold solely online, I definitely worry about lead…

  18. Cara

Thank you for sharing. I love cheap jewelry definatly when I work at a school and if a child pulls on them I’m not completely heart broken. Thanks for all the advice I will make sure not to let my students eat my jewelry. 🙂

    • Em

If a child pulls on it that lead is on their hands and then in their mouth 😉

  19. shelleybeaches

I usually paint the back of overseas jewelry with clear nail polish. Just the metal part.

    • Crystal

Lol sorry didn’t see your comment till after I posted.

  20. Kristine Rodgers

Okay, we get it, some of you don’t like lead jewelry, and that is fine. I agree, definitely not good for kids, but all these negative comments saying the same thing over and over again make this section really kinda depressing. What happened to all the positivity?

Shelleybeaches, I love your idea! I may try that with some of my costume jewelry!

Thanks Collins for hunting for these deals! Even if we don’t all use them, we do appreciate them and all the work you put into helping us on our treasure hunt! 🙂

  21. Crystal

I saw something on TV that might help with the lead or turning you skin green factor. Coat it with clear nail polish that way it will look pretty but not touch skin.
