ALL the reviews on these pants are stating that they are horrible quality and after one wash fell apart in one way or another, either the stitching started coming undone somewhere or a hole developed, or it shredded apart leaving tons of link in the washer machine even on the gentle cold cycle (according to another review)… I’m not taking the risk or chance if there isn’t even one positive review on BELK’s website. I guess the saying “You get what you pay for ACTUALLY applies this time”

Of Course! I always read the feedback first before buying new products. I was really excited to be able to get these at such a great price for my husband but there must be a reason why so many others have discredited the quality of these pants. I just can’t ignore that many negative reviews. I just wanted to possibly save others from making the same mistake they all seem to regret. Hopefully another deal will arise like this one but better quality pants.

“I purchased 4 pair of Chaps Wrinkle Free Pleated Twill Pants 4 weeks ago online. After 1 wash the pants look horrible. The texture of the pants changed. The pleats disappeared. I will never buy these again.”

Same Brand, Not Same Quality

“I have purchased these pants for my husband for years. It’s the only pant he will wear. This time I purchased 5 pairs of Navy, all the same size. One pair was extremely tight, two pair were shorter than the others. I returned one pair and kept the other four. When I laundered them in cold water, delicate cycle, the fabric shed so much I had to clean the inside of the washing machine with towels to remove the navy fibers left on the inside of the tub. Also, the fabric lost ALL it’s body and is now extremely thin. THESE ARE NOT THE SAME QUALITY!!! I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone and will be looking for another brand in the future!”

“I purchased 1 pair of Chaps Wrinkle Free Pleated Twill Pants 3 weeks ago at Belks in Warner Robins GA washed 3 times and have developed a hole in the crotch. Another pair I purchased earlier at Belks in Dublin, GA the stitching just below the zipper was not stitched correctly leaving a gapping 1.2 inch gap. Will NEVER purchase these AGAIN.”

Telling me I can’t use promo coupon code with a Visa? anyone else getting this?
I got this also. IDKY. I had some other sale items in my cart that made it worth while (flatware is on sale!) to pass up the 15% so I just took it off. Was aggravating though. I glanced through the terms for the coupon but didn’t see anything about the visa card. A glitch maybe?
There are some other deals to be had! Girls coats, baby boys hoodies. Boys suits for $11 (3T) Christmas dress clothes for next year…. I’m looking through now.
After reading the above the comments, I just wanted to add that I was interested in the flat-front style for my husband, so I read those reviews. They were much kinder! I ordered a pair of the 29 length (so hard to find on sale) and I’m happy. Good luck!

The code worked for me ( I had the nail file and 2 pairs of pants in my cart, put code in and it deducted 15%) and I do not have a rewards card but I ended up not completing the transaction due to the negative feedback. Do not to waste the money!
My husband has worn these pants for years an it’s very obvious the quality isn’t what it used to be. Our last purchase was 4 pair, all flat front, all different colors. The darkest pair split down the back the first time he wore them, so I took them back and they gladly exchanged them. Bought the exact same pair and they did the same thing! Took those back and got the pleated kind and they seem to be much thicker. I’m not sure if it had something to do with that particular color or what, but I have become weary of Chaps pants.

Womens Yellow Box flip flops are on clearance for $8.70 regular $29! I am in NC so it will be hot here before we know it! I ordered some for my daughter. 2 Osh Kosh hoodies for my toddler for next fall $7.49 regular $30, toddler khahi pants and a long sleeve shirt for now and a headband for my youngest daughter for $2.49 regular $10, totaling $40.27 shipped! The nail file was sold out but I found a Clinique eye/lip pencil sharpener for $3.00 which enabled me to get free shipping. The promo codes would not work during checkout even though it will reflect the discount when you enter them in your shopping cart. When you actually try to checkout with the promo code you will get an error message. I called customer service and they said that they will not accept promo codes from 3rd party websites even though you can see the discount in your shopping bag. I got some great deals on Carter’s clothing for my toddler boy. Spent $42 and got 4 pairs of pajamas, 1 shirt, 1 hoodie, and 1 jacket.
I just tried to order and when it wouldn’t process the payment, I phoned Belk.com. According to the lady I spoke with the coupon code is not valid. They do not accept coupons from third party sites like retailmenot or coupons.com (her words). They only accept Belk coupons.
Has anyone ever ordered from this website before? If so, can you tell me your experience? I’m a bit hesitant to order from them because I haven’t heard the best things in regards to the online store. Thanks in advance!
