Is this a good stock up price, or should I wait for a better deal? TIA

    • Jana

eh, for me I try to pay no more than $0.30/roll (I don’t count double rolls as 2 like Colin does because almost everything you see on shelves these days are double rolls). However, I am thinking I’ll be doing this Staples deal since it means I don’t have to go to Target and lug all that tp home. It may sound lazy but I’ll pay the extra .02 a roll to have it shipped to my door.

      • ashley

        Thanks Jana!

      • Stacy

I agree with Jana. The few extra pennies per roll is worth having it delivered. Plus I get my 5% staples rewards and can use shop at home, so works out almost the same or better than lugging all that tp home from target! 🙂

      • Diane L.

I agree! With the awful weather we’ve had this winter, I’m thrilled to have something delivered to my door at a good price.

  2. Maria

Tried to do this deal. Once added to cart, price change to 7.99 instead of 5.99.Help..TIA

    • mamabug

It says $7.99 but then takes off the $2.00 for each coupon on a separate line at checkout. Mine had a discount of $20 for the 10 packs I bought and another $20 for the $20 off $60.

      • Maria

Is there any other code to put to make it 5.99?

        • mamabug

Should take it off automatically. It will appear as $7.99 but there will be the discount on another line. It all works out right. 🙂 Mine did anyway.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, to clarify, all of the discounts should show up at the final stage of checkout, so keep going through the checkout process and you should see all of the discounts applied.

      • Lisa

Collin, the Yankee candles will work with the discount code too. They are reduced to 9.90 down from original $25.00.

  3. mamabug

I was happy to see this. We only like Quilted Northern and I will happily pay full price for it at the store. This is quite a bit less than what I typically pay per roll… and shipped to the door without me having to worry about remembering! Perfect!!

Can anyone tell me if this TP is comparable to charmin? That’s what I usually buy and I don’t want to hear a lot of complaints from the fam. I prefer having it delivered to going out in the cold.

    • mamabug

I think this is just as soft as Charmin. I think it is a little thicker (we get the ultra strong and soft). We like it much better than Charmin. I stumbled upon it during a Staples deal a few years back and was hooked.

    • Ketsy

NO. Not all all like Charmin. These are the thin type that are a few layers of see thru tp. It leaks thru your hand when wiping unless you wad a lot of it 🙁

  5. bfam

anyone have a good scenario for a paper towel deal?

    • bfam

This is what I ended up doing (if you need to stock up on paper towels like I did!):

      Scott® Mega Roll Paper Towel Rolls, 1-Ply, 6 Rolls/Pack
      $47.92
      Qty:8

Quilted Northern® Ultra Soft & Strong Toilet Paper, 12 Rolls/Case
      $7.99
      Qty:1

Quilted Northern® Ultra Plush Toilet Paper, 12 Rolls/Case
      $7.99
      Qty:1

Ajax® Oxygen Bleach Powder Cleanser, 21 oz.
      $1.79
      Qty:1

The Scott paper towels were only $5.99 if you bought 2 or more packages. Works out to less than a penny per paper towel. My total was $40.22 Including tax and $4 of Staples Rewards that I applied.

  6. Michele Rohrer

Anyone else getting charged tax on this? I did on the last tp deal too.

    • Carrie

Yes, tax is applied on all orders.

  7. Jennifer

What is the square footage per package?

    • Kristen

I was looking around online, and found possible square footages from Amazon. I’m not sure if these are accurate, but I found 253.3/12-pack for Ultra Soft & Strong, 234.6/12-pack for Ultra Plush.
If that’s accurate, it would mean you’re paying around $0.016/sq ft. Not a bad deal, but not a stock-up price for me. I get it way cheaper at Costco ($0.009/sq ft) but even without a Costco membership I think there are better deals to be had 🙂 Though of course the convenience of home delivery is worth it for some people!

  8. carmen

    There is also a $10 off $40 code 31556

    There is also a $10 off $40 coupon 31556

  10. Leah

Thank you, Collin! We are TP snobs 🙂 and only use the QN Ultra Plush. This is such a great way to stock up for a LOT less than I can find it in the store. Plus I don’t have to drag my kiddos out in below zero temps. It’s a win-win! I also went through shopathome and got another 5% back.

    • Stacy

Me too!! I’m just glad I can spare myself the embarrassment of leaving target with 3 of those HUGE packs 🙂 After shop at home, staples rewards, and tax, I’m at .16 per single roll. LOVE IT!!

  11. Jen

    Don’t forget ebates!

  12. Caitlin

Used Shop At Home and got 5% back. Spent $47.xx including tax for 132 rolls of toilet paper, but that’s including the Groupon gift card I bought last summer for $25. So it was actually like paying $32.xx! I will be splitting this between myself, my mother and grandmother, and our local homeless shelter.

  13. Lisa

Don’t know if you guys know this, but the large Yankee candles are on sale at 9.90 each, plus they qualify as an the cleaning and break room discount. So if you don’t want the toilet paper you may want to stock up on some cheap Yankee candles. Just a thought, if you order 7 candles, it ends up being a little over $7 each for a large Yankee candle that is Reg. price 25.00, that is a savings of $125.00 off normal price. Or if you order 6 and ad a cheap item, your price would be a little less. Hope that helps.

    • Denise

Thanks! I paid $45 for 10 12-packs and a Clorox toilet bowl cleaner. We also received 6 cents per dollar Swagbucks (worth about $2.40) and 5% Staples Rewards (worth about $2.00). That is with tax. Even if it was just for the 10 12-packs, that is only $4.50 each with tax before the extra discounts, which is a great deal. I wish I had bought a Staples gift card online too for an extra discount, but I’m happy with that. I think our credit card also gives 2% back. 🙂

    • Rebecca

They are not the large candles… Only the medium ones

  14. CAmmy

It says “*Coupon code Coupon not available at this time.”
    What am I doing wrong?

  15. B

Makes me laugh ….. I had to think if I had room to store ONE (yes one of the 12 packs since I still have rolls of TP on hand). If I bought 10 packages I would have to place a few next to my couch as a new mod side table. Ah, living in a small one-bedroom.

    • Diane L.

That is really funny! I’m picturing it in my head!

  16. Karla

It looks like the $20 coupon has expired, but the $10 one is still active.
