First, be sure to add this 20% Off The One Spot Cartwheel Savings Offer! If you’re not familiar with The One Spot, it’s the area that’s usually in the front of most Target stores where items are priced as low as $1. They’ve got various items from accessories to toys to household items, snacks, and more. And with this offer, you’ll be able to score items for just $0.80 each, plus you can use the Cartwheel offer up to 4 times! Love that! :)

Also, you may be able to score clearance slippers at an additional 70% off the already-reduced clearance prices, making for some real steals! I was able to find Girl’s slippers for as low as $1.34, Men’s and Women’s Slippers for only $2.99 (regularly $19.99!), and more!

*Be sure to price check as the slippers should ring up even less than the price that is shown on the clearance sticker.

my son, now a man, loved getting his own spray and deodorant., but watch out of which scent u pick because he over used it when he was that age.

  2. Chris

My daughter is almost 12 and she has been wearing deodorant since last year and a bra and started shaving, so yeah he is on track and welcome to the world of having a tween. They grow up so fast.

Just a heads up, I noticed your coupons are printed in color; I always print mine in a gray scale or black ink only. The stores still accept them and I save my color ink for more important things (like pictures).

Thank you so much for sharing the savings on the slippers at Target, I picked up 6 pairs already for around $15. I also found some great clearance on clothing and the 25% off C9 Cartwheel discount worked on a men’s clearance C9 shirt, even though it says it excludes clearance items. Yippee!

Sounds like it’s time for mom and/or dad to have a talk about the fact’s of life and puberty. 12 is about the right age for boy’s, mine is 16 now. And I would advise the deodorant and not so much the body spray they tend to over spray. Teenagers are a challenge for sure, just be glad your first one will be a boy and not a girl!

    • Charissa

the body spray is super strong! my liitle brother used to completely overdue it. its smells good but definitely proceed with caution:D

Just curious Collin, did they honor the BOGO sale on the clearance deodorant? I’ve tried to take advantage of sales like that and they never ring up with the BOGO and when I ask they always tell me that an item being on clearance overrides a weekly sale.

    • mel

I got 2 of the clearance sprays at Walgreens yesterday and the register automatically rang it up BOGO. Now, that does not always happen, I think it might be whomever programs the deal UPC’s, maybe it was an oversight. Or it was clearanced after the items were added in the system for the deal. I know clearance does not work on BOGO sales at CVS.

Thank you for the tip on slippers at Target. I went there last night and bought 100+ pairs to be donated to the Phoenix Childrens Hospital in memory of our friend’s daughter. I spoke with the store manager and she gave me an additional 50% off the clearance price!! I filled two carts full of slippers and cleared all of their slipper inventory – the manager was happy, I was happy and the children in the hospital will be super excited when they receive their new slippers:)

Yes, 12 is normal and I surprised that it hasn’t happened before 12. Watch the brands you buy, we’ve found that while Axe smells nice it doesn’t work well for controlling odor. I used to buy a lot of it when it was on sale and my kids would spray each other with the body sprays and it would so overpowering not to mention wasteful. I don’t buy Axe anymore. My 11 year old swears by Speed Stick.

  8. Nat

Hey Collin, I have to know where did you get the purse??? LOve it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I recently received as a gift from a good friend. I think she purchased from a local boutique, but I’m not positive.

As a seventh grade teacher, I know I spent a small fortune on plug-in air fresheners, that I kicked into high gear (by adding sprays) on gym days. So, rest assured, your son is right on schedule. I was constantly confiscating Axe sprays, since they would mess around with them in class. So yes to the cologne part of your question! Good luck! Trust me, this era gets really, uh, fun!
