Yay! Collin I love your videos, I love your humor and honesty too. Back a few years ago a friend of mine started couponing with me. One day she came to me angry saying that coupons are for foods no one like and it was all unhealthy products like pastas and cookies. She was so angry that she made a youtube video claiming that “couponing made her fat”. I’m so glad you posted this video because I know that is not the case. There is coupons for most everything, just takes the right time for them to pop up and patience and time to look for the products too.

I totally agree Mayra! The other day I watched that extreme couponing show and I laughed when a lady bought 20 of these high salt microwave meals and she said “I’ve never tried this but we better like them because they’re free!” The lady was very large and she had her family with her who was also large. The truth is 1) It may be free but my time is worth something too, and these people spend a lot of time trying to find large quantities of coupons and matching ads and 2) the food may be free now, but if you eat a lot of fatty foods that have no nutrition you will pay for it with expensive doctor bills and prescriptions later! I make a monthly meal plan : breakfast, lunch and dinner and repeat it every month. If I come across an item that I always use…I’ll stock up. I stock up on toiletries and personal items that I know I will use. As far as food, I don’t coupon unless it’s healthy and what I use often. (and a few of the frozen food deals for when my husband and I have a date night and we get a sitter) If you are not going to eat it…no matter how cheap you get it…it’s still a waste if you never use it. And those crazy people on that coupon show that buy 100+ beverages…..water is healthier and….FREE!
