As of this morning, I noticed at Petco that this brand was 30% off until 3/21 for $11.19, and so $3.19 is an awesome price after coupon!
It’s a even better deal if you have the Petco $10 off any proplan coupons, I used it and the $8 and being today was last day of the free 6.5# bag coupon too, I got a 34# and 6.5# for $21 with tax. Great deal since my dogs have to eat the sensitive stomach formula because of allergies to wheat/corn.

Coupon prints as for dog food. No mention of cat food, so I don’t think that it is good as such. I will give this to my friend that has a dog. Thanks.

Just wondering if anyone else experienced this – went to Petsmart this week to buy some ProPlan and tried to use the $5 off of $25 coupon I printed last week. They said it was a fake coupon, not a real PetSmart coupon. Made me feel like a thief. I said I got it from a coupon website and I had no idea it was fake, but still no reason to make ME feel badly. Almost walked out of Petsmart but needed the dog food. Heads up to anyone else trying to redeem the $5 off of $25 Petsmart coupon……
I did a search for Petsmart coupons before I went 2 weeks ago with my family to stock up on dog food, and happened to find the 5 off 25 before it was even released and we were able to use it just fine. It scanned in their system. We had to do 3 transaction because it’s only one per transaction but no issues actually using it.
I also was treated as though I were trying to get away with something– by using the ProPlan coupon. The manager claimed that the coupon was fraudulent and that Petco isn’t taking it either, however I saw the internal memo from the Petsmart HQ posted at the cashier station, which only noted that the coupon was being widely distributed (“gone viral”), and it should not be accepted. I told him this is arbitrary to be accepting the Purina Friskies coupon but not the more expensive one. Both coupons comply with their competitor coupon policy. He tried to give contradictory justifications for why the coupon was being denied. He did not want to deal with my protests and ended up trying to intimidate me to leave the store. I am seriously considering never shopping there again and have written to their customer service about the incident.
I work in retail and can explain why they wouldn’t take it. At my store from time to time we release coupons via email. When we do this the barcode has the customer’s email attached to it so it can only be used once. People will upload theirs to the internet and all of a sudden we have over a dozen people in the store trying to use a coupon that is no longer valid. Brand coupons work in a similar fashion. Each barcode is unique so the store only gets reimbursed once. If someone uploads theirs and Petco has 300+ people trying to save money with the same coupon it’s like being robbed. They can’t afford to give every customer that discounted price every time someone uploads a coupon. Also in my experience the only time we treat a customer ruddily is when they argue that we’re in the wrong for following Corporates ruling on the subject. I’m not saying you were rude, but next time you print a store or brand coupon that isn’t from the site I would recommend calling ahead to avoid those situations.

Bricks coupons usually only print 2 per computer, so that would be the issue. If you have 2 comps and emails, you can print 4.

What happens at Petco with overage? I was going to use the $10 off Petco coupon with the $8 manufacturer coupon, but the bags are $11.19 on sale, so how would that work? Does the overage go towards other items?
Petco doesn’t do overages. Their system will not deduct more than the amount of the product price.
Does anyone know if Petsense takes manufacturer’s coupons? That’s the only pet store in my town besides Petland, but I never go there because I feel like they abuse their pets…

On the $10 qpon it says it can’t be used with any other qpon…so we can’t use the $8 one with it? FYI lady night I want to Petsmart and got a Breeze litter box on sale for $25 and used the $5/$25 qpon with no problem. Then I bought the very expensive Wellness cat food and used the $5 Wellness along with the $5/$25.
