What is Recyclebank?
If you’re new around here, you are probably wondering what the heck RecycleBank is!? RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Once you have signed up for an account, you can start earning points immediately by clicking on the “Earn Points” tab and taking quizzes. You can then use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available.

I ordered my Amazon card and it does take almost a week to get the email with the reward code. I wish we could order more than just one Amazon reward since it seems like Recyclebank does not offer this all the time

Feel like its too many points for too little in value…
Took less than 5 min to get my account back up to 200 points. I normally like getting green mountain coupon codes and some high value printable coupons.
Me, too. I like high value coupons better than gift cards. But when I can’t find any coupons I like, I end up with a few thousands points. That’s when I get gift cards.
Havent logged onto recycle bank in a long time but had enough points for s Starbucks gift card, thanks for posting.

Two weeks ago, I had a large amount of points saved up and after several months of not seeing the Wal-Mart gift cards or anything like that except the Regal Movie Ticket, I e-mail Recycle Bank and was told that they are no longer going to issue these types of cards out to us only the “other people” who ever they were. So I had no choice but to get the Regal Movie Ticket and gifted it too a friend, no big deal there because I knew they would have fun but it was just the idea of now they have them listed and I was told a story that they would never have them listed again. I am all about recycling, but not telling story’s. I just felt this was really unfair because it could have happened to you. Any thoughts from anyone here…
I save my points as rewards change and I wait until I see something I like. The person who answered your call is probably not the same person who makes decisions about what rewards will be offered coming up. You were able to give a gift to a friend which is always a great thing.

Was able to snag my Amazon card and also picked up 2 Harris Teeter coupons too. Those come in handy! =)
I wonder if anyone knows if you can use lands end gc at sears/ kmart like you can use gap ones at old navy, banana republic and pipeline? Tia!
Yes you can use Lands End gift cards at Sears & Kmart. I do it all the time.
I have never gotten the ones on recyclebank, but the lands end gift cards I get thru the hallmark card rewards program I am able to use at kmart.

Thank you so much for posting about the AGC! I recently got enough for the card but got the message that this reward was only available for those who used a sponsored disposal program. I almost cancelled my account! Now I know just to wait until they are available!

My city doesn’t recycle so I guess I can’t participate. :/
You can still participate, even without your city participating. I’ve earned over 9,000 pts (total) and my city doesn’t participate. If you want an invite, let me know. They only give 25 pts for referrals, but better than none, lol
Your city doesn’t recycle, that’s sad.
Lots of cities don’t recycle. I take newspapers to a bin at the school and plastic bags back to the store but that’s it unless I pay my trash company almost $200 extra a year, and I just don’t have that much extra $$$.
Well that is sad also. All the money things are wasted on and some cities don’t have recycling is ridiculous.

email customer service and you will probably get them back! Same thing happened to me ,but i found out my account was hacked and the person redeemed my points…so email them and see what they say. Good luck!
