We didn’t get the $5.00 coupon here in Nebraska. Bummer!

  2. amanda

I’m in nebraska to I haven’t gotten my ad’s for this week yet but that makes me sad to hear because we would actually use this :/

  3. Fran

Sadly, our SS did not have this rebate slip…. 🙁

    • Alison

I got 2 papers so I have 1 extra rebate coupon. If you want to PayPal me the cost of a stamp, I’ll happily mail it to you. Email alison688@gmail.com if interested.

      • JoannS

        thank you for rebate kink

      • Crescent City Couponer

The dates on this rebate link are 3/16/2014-04/27/2014. So it won’t work for this sale.

The instructions read: “Original, store-identified cash register receipt dated between (3/16/2014-04/27/2014), product UPC code, and your full name and full address on a 3”x 5” card.”

The SS insert rebate dates are 2/23/2014-04/06/2014. This probably means we’ll another chance at a freebie 3/16-04/27/2014 at CVS.

Its right next to the coupons $5 in corner of coupon sheet

    • Moria

You don’t send in the actual slip, it just has the info you need.

  4. Misty

Only 5 tabs? Not worth the effort.

    • mel

If its the only thing you plan on getting at Walgreens, then it might not be. But I have a list of items, so this is a good filler for some RRs I need to use up.

  5. Alison

Bummer! I used points on this transaction so I missed the MM 🙁

    • Joan Castillo

Always remember you can’t earn points if you use them to pay !!!!!!!!!!

      • Meli

She probably bought them before this was posted bc it’s not in the ad that it’s giving BR.

I got home after buying the Mucinex thinking I already got a great deal and then found 3,000 BRP on my receipt! I also bought 3 boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios so I earned 3,000 BRP on those so at the bottom of my receipt it said Total Rewards Points Earned: 3,000. BUT my balance actually increased by 6,000 total and there was a note of the 3,000 points earned right below the Mucinex on my receipt. Nice surprise 🙂

While at Walgreens, keep an eye out for the booklets with coupons. I found 5 different ones, digestion ($10) eye care ($25 in savings), healthy sleep ($10 in savings), cold and flu ($20 in savings), and a bundled of joy with $20 in savings for baby items. I also found Halls,Dove, and Old Spice coupons along the aisles.

    • Lyndi Hedgecock

I have looked and looked and looked for the baby one! I have never found one! LOL! You are a lucky duck to have! 🙂

      • Kristie

The baby one was mailed to my home.

    • Erica

      Colin,
The Walgreens Cold & Flu booklet (where the $2 off Lysol product is) has a $1off any Mucinex product. Could we use the $5 off and the $1 off from the booklet?

      • Alison

I haven’t seen this one, but those are typically mfg coupons so you couldn’t use the $5 and $1 on the same item.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You wouldn’t be able to since they are both manufacturer’s coupons.

  8. Kristy

I got this deal earlier! Love it!

  9. Lynda

This is good for Allegra users!

  10. Wendi S

My 5/1 says for 24 or 30 count. The 2/1 says 5 or 10 count. Isn’t this deal misusing the coupon, or are others’ coupons worded differently?

    • mel

The $5 coupon from my insert says ANY Mucinex Allergy, and even has a pic of the 5 ct. Could be regional if yours has a count size.

    • Crescent City Couponer

The Times-Picayune SmartSource insert had two coupons: a $5/1 “Buy any (1) Mucinex Allergy product” & a $2 off any Mucinex product & the $2.50 rebate form. We also got a $2/1 Mitchum coupon.

I could believe we had such high value coupons!

      • Crescent City Couponer

        *couldn’t

  11. Rose L

Target also has a coupon for two dollars off. I used that today, along with the $5 off coupon.

    • Jennifer

I just saw the Target coupon and printed, how much was the Mucinex at your Target? Thanks for mentioning

      • Rose L

        $7.49

  12. Souree

Anyone here in Texas have luck with getting the $5 RR?

    • Meli

What RR?? There is a $5 insert coupon in yesterday’s SS. Then you get 3000 balance rewards.

  13. JohanneKaye

Can I use target coupon + manufacturing coupon on the mucinex deal at Walgreens?

    • mel

no, walgreens does not take competitor coupons.

  14. melanie

What count was the Target $7.49 box? Was it 5 or 10 count? Thank you in advance!
