Great video! I wanted to make a correction though. I studied in France for two years, and while living there, and traveling to other parts of the continent, I always hear the European loop referred to as a French loop. As well, there are actually books showing the various ways to use a scarf, and I even saw a display in a Parisian shop where they showed sixty ways to wear the same scarf! French women perfected the way to wear a scarf. Another neat trick is the way they modify the pretzel loop to have the fringe hanging out, as they did in the 1920’s! French women wear and use scarves, as American women garner handbags. Its good stuff!

    • JA

First, that is amazing that you studied in France, I’m so envious! And “French loop” sounds even more fancy than European. Thanks for your reply. Loving all things I’ve learned the past couple days on this site!

    • amy

That was cool. It’s amazing how many different ways you could wear one. Did she do the DIY infinity twice though?

      • lastquartertsuki

You know, she might have. I rewatched it and she does have two infinity scarf ties… XD

    • Brittany

      Thanks for sharing!

    • Amy J

      • lastquartertsuki

Just Youtube. If you mouse over the video title at the top, you should be able to get the link from there. Or you can find her on Youtube as Wendy’s Lookbook.

I love scarves, too!! They are such a great pop of color or pattern! You are so cute, loved the video, thank you!

  12. Donna

There is also a way to braid the scarf on one side too that’s super cute! If anyone is interested, I can send photos to Collin to post.

    • Bunny

I’d love to see it Donna…please send to Collin to post 😉

  13. Jackie

  14. Em

My face is to round for scarves, but you guys rock them hard!

  15. Jessica

How do you stay so tan?! Love your lipstick too! This helped me a lot since I’m petite, and am not used to wearing scarfs but admire them. I have three now and I’m looking forward to wearing them in more cute ways!

  16. Colene

What great tips! I have scarves that just sit in my closet because I don’t know how to wear them.

  17. Dorothy

Love both videos! I don’t own a scarf because I didn’t know how to wear them. My granddaughter was wearing one the other day and she looked so cute in her pale yellow and white scarf. She showed me how she wore hers and it was the European was. It looked so cute and boy was she fast when she put it on. Her mom wears them all the time and my granddaughter is only 5yrs old. They catch on really fast! Where is the best place to buy scarfs?

    • Renee

Any clothing store in the mall would have scarves. Probly TJmaxx or Marshall’s or Ross would be cheaper. Even cheaper yet is Goodwill. I’ve found 2 really cute ones at a Goodwill.

  18. Kelsey

Collin, I LOVE your videos!!! I could watch them all day long! 😀

  19. melissa

Did you cut your hair again?! I LOVE it! You look great with a pixie! Thanks for the fun ideas- I love the diy infinity scarf! Sometimes if it is one I know I’d rather just keep infinity I stitch the bottom. Happy to see the tie idea! Out here in NY I am trying to keep things cheerful with the scarves- but this weather is cray cray! thanks xo
