   This might sound like a stupid q but is xbox live safe in the sense that can it send a virus or anything through the system on the tv? Sorry I know it sounds dumb but my dad is kind of paranoid and I’ve been meaning to get this for my little brother for a while but my dad wanted to make sure it was safe before I did. Tia

  The XBOX runs on a closed system (which means that only Microsoft adds content onto the server to be downloaded) and so this is highly unlikely. In order for a virus to get onto your XBOX someone from Microsoft would have to add a virus to a game you download. Now in this day and age it doesn’t mean that Microsoft couldn’t be hacked and something added. We’ve had XBOX live for years (since the XBOX 360 came out) and nothing like this has occurred. As for it going onto your TV – not going to happen. Your TV is like a monitor for the computer, the hard drive gets the bug and your monitor keeps displaying a picture.
