My birthday is on April 1st and I hate April Fool’s jokes with a passion. Keep that in mind when you want to “fool” someone whose birthday happens to fall on that day and they can’t have the special day they deserve without all of this stupid nonsense.

And just so you know, joking about being pregnant is cruel and extremely insensitive. It makes me sick. This is by far the worst post I have ever had to read on this website. A website I normally love every single day.

You don’t “have to read” this post! Move on, enjoy your birthday, and let people be silly on a day that is suppose to be silly 🙂

My brothers birthday is on April 1. He loves all the extra special things happening that day. It’s like EVERYONE is celebrating. I guess if your a happy person with a fun personality it makes for a great day…otherwise not so much. Btw: 2 years ago my daughter posted on Facebook she was pregnant with what would be my first grandchild…i definitely had a heart stopping moment but everyone had a good laugh…month later…yep, just celebrated my grandsons first birthday…its a great story to tell and it always makes us smile.

I didn’t read all the other comments, so sorry if I’m a repeat! I used to make kool-aid and put salt in it instead of sugar. 🙂

It was years ago, I received a phone call that I had won a TV from our local Honda store on April fools day… I said who is this??? I know it’s April fools day who are you ?? and kept asking who is this because I did not know the voice. The person kept telling me their name… and wanted to know when I could pick up my TV … I just hung up ! Everyone kept telling me I should go see… I said it was somebody doing April fools day on me… 3 days later it hit me we were in the Honda store several months before … So I called them … Sure enough I had WON a TV !!! Makes me wonder how many people have done the same thing but never followed up on it.. LOL !

I have a life-like rubber mouse. It always makes an appearance at my job. He’s been known to turn up in the coffee room, copier room, and even in reports on my boss’ desk!!! 🙂

I once played a joke on our pastor by having a piece of foam cut like cake. You ice it as normal (The icing makes it smell AMAZING) and invite someone special to cut into it. It’s hilarious watching your friends TRY to cut into that yummy cake. (As not to be a total letdown, I DID have a REAL cake waiting to share) 😉

My mother in Love did that with our wedding cake! We went to cut it and no cut. We knew his mother had lovingly made, and decorated the three tier cake so we each thought to ourselves hmmm, we know her cakes are not usually hard to cut. LOL So with one hand over the other we tried again, and again, again-finally my husband took the knife and stabbed (from about 3 ft. in the air) into the cake, which was decorated ice cream containers of various sizes. Didn’t want to hurt her feelings, but had to cut the cake.
After the laughter and surprise of everyone died down my mother took the plastic cake from the room, and they(mom & mom-in-love) returned with one that looked identical, and we cut that. Never too much work for a good laugh, she went to all that work just to get a good one over on us…and she did! Great family, I am so blessed.

When my kids were younger and I could still carry them I moved them, while sleeping, to their sibling’s rooms. When they woke up the next morning they wondered where they were. It was fun and no one was hurt.

Got this from the internet a couple years ago: Cut out a bunch of E’s out of brown construction paper and put them in a 9×13 baking pan with a lid- told my husband i made brownies, get it? Brown e’s? – ahhahahahaha. He was mad, but he passed it on. He put some in a baggie and fun with the guys at work, “Hey, my wife made brownies, want one?”

Awwww, poor DeAnna. My DDs birthday is today too, and she has a better attitude at nine years old than you do. She is the queen of April fools! I’m sorry your life is so sad.
