Oh my goodness… I think it’s great to take advantage of these sales for future gifts, but I also can’t help but think “good grief!” My kids do NOT need a gift of new toys at every single holiday event all throughout the year. My holiday money is much better spent on doing fun things together to make it special. 🙂
I totally agree!!! I have been trying to get rid of toys so even though it is tempting, I will be holding off on this one.
Ditto.. Don’t get me wrong we do small things in the basket, but she gets most of her toys at Christmas and a few for her bday (we usually go DO something for her bday so she just gets 1 or 2 gifts) and that’s it. Easter, Vday ect its getting a little too gift-centric for me. My daughter doesn’t need $50 worth of toys at every holiday.
To each their own, ladies! I’d rather my kids get toys than a bunch of junk filled candy made with cheap ingredients and artificial dyes that are linked to hyperactivity and cancer. Sheesh this is a blog with deals, if you don’t want to buy, move along! If anyone’s wondering, the caterpillar is cute, my baby loved sucking on its head. I think it helped with teething even though it’s not gummy/soft plastic. However one downside to the toy— when it was pulled apart, I found the segmented body parts disgusting to look at even though it’s indeed not realistic and just a toy 🙂
