    How do easy rebates work?

    • Megan

They print a spare receipt for you and you can either fill that out and mail it or enter the rebate information online. In 3 or 4 weeks they send you a check for the rebate amount.

      • Yesenia

        Thank you so much Megan!

I’m confused on the paper…my coupon states paper would be FREE. So why would we need easy rebate? I don’t see a coupon that would take off $3.99. I did have my coffee this morning, I promise.

    • Tanya W

The paper is $7.79, the coupon will deduct $3.99, so the remaining $3.80 we pay and get back via rebate!

      • Adrienne B.

My coupon says “free” paper. So, why wouldn’t it deduct $7.79? in which case we’d be making money with an easy rebate on top of that.

        • Yvonne

It is free WITH the easy rebate

          • Adrienne B.

ok, thanks. husband did the deal. my coupon just said “free” for some reason

Can u use staples rewards and still submit 4 the rebates?

    • amber

Yes. If you use Staples Rewards you will get the amount back for the rebate. If you use rewards for a rewards deal it will deduct the rewards you used.

      • Jml

        Thank u Amber!

If anyone has any staples $off or %off coupon, I would love to have it. Please email me at starcallermuskhan@(gmail.com)

I can give you a 8×8 shutterfly book code in exchange.

    Thanks.

    Stupid question
Can you only get rebates when you purchase instore?

    • I love shoes

It depends on the rebate stipulation. I have purchased items such as virus protection, a cash register, and printers online and received a rebate. In this case, the rebate for the copy paper states in-store only.

    • Steve Walton

For Most Staples Items that are Free After Rebate you can safely pay with Staples Reward (Ink or 5% Back Type) and still get the Full Rebate. The ones you may have to watch out for using coupons and rewards Say “UP To” in the Rebate. You never want to use Rewards for an item that is Free after Rewards, though I have not seen these at Staples in a while.

I got $20 in rewards for ink cartridge returns last month. How do I get the rewards so I can use them?

Here is another deal that might be worth it for some. It worked for me this morning, even though it was unadvertised at my store, and management was not aware of the offer.

Buy $300+ in VISA gift cards, get a $20 Visa gift card via rebate. You’ll pay an additional $5.95 for a $100 Visa g/c and $6.95 for a $200 Visa g/c as activation fees, but you’ll more than make that up with the rebate.

It gets better if you happen to have an Amex card and also have the offer for $20/$100 at Staples (you had to sync your Amex via twitter or facebook, and the offer is no longer available for new sign-ups; OR you might find it under the “offers” tab in your Amex account).

Buy $300 in Visa gift cards, pay $312.90 with your Amex card, get a $20 Visa gift card and a $20 credit on each registered Amex you use. (If you have more than one Amex registered for this promo, the cashier can split the transaction and you’ll get a $20 credit on each card.) The Amex credits will show up on your Amex statement after your purchase, likely within a couple of days.
