I watched a YouTube review on these. They are junk

    • mel

I like them. Actually better than some of the more expensive brands of eye shadow pallets I have.

      • Liz

I own every color of these…it was a MM for me with the Almay $5/2 printable..but OMG these are the worst product EVER…no color payoff whatsoever…ladies be warned…its real junky.

        • mel

Revlon or Almay?? I have several of the Almay shades, and I found that the best way to apply is with your fingertips or wet your eyeshadow brush (flick off excess water). But the Revlon colors, at least for me, are colorful and so far they’ve stayed on, even after doing yard work in the evening!

          • Liz

I actually got both when they were MM at RA..i tried using MAC Fix plus on my brush and it was soo powdery and no color payoff…i hated them…i own all the shades of the Almay and Revlon links..thank God i coupon,i would be real mad if i payed full price on these junky products!!

            • mel

The good thing about RA & CVS, is that they have the money back guarantee on beauty products if you don’t like it! Just need your receipt. I have brought back some blush & foundations b/c they didn’t work for me.

            • Liz

Mel since they were MM i didnt bother…if i had paid even a doller,u bet i’d get my money back

I never get the makeup coupons in my paper, not sure why but I’m bummed. I missed the $4/1 Almay and now this one 🙁 BOOOO!

    • Cinthia

This revlon coupon is in the walgreens coupon book you find in the store usually in the front by the weekly ads

      • Whitney

I have that one. I don’t have the $1/1 from the 4/27 SS. I guess it’s a regional one and my area didn’t get them.

        • Rochelle Verstraete

You can ask the beauty advisors if they have any $1/1 coupons. My store does that for customers.

  3. Toni

Wouldn’t it be like a dollar. Because the one eyeshadow is 1.49 and they can’t give you overage. At least my store they would mark down the man coupon for the 50% item

    • mel

There is no overage. The total is $4.49: $2.99 + $1.49. If you give the manuf coupons first, it’ll deduct $2 from the subtotal. Then give the IVC, which will deduct $1 off each, changing the price to $1.99 & $0.49.

      • toni

The item is only 1.49…..so the walgreens coupon will be a 1.oo off and the man would be marked down to .49.
This is how my Wags does it.

        • mel

I always give manuf coupons first, then walgreens store coupons, so i never have issues with cashier’s needing to adj the manuf coupon.

  4. Lin

Off topic, CVS has an ECB for $25 purchase deal, does it have to be 25 AFTER coupons deducted or is it like Target where it’s the total before coupons? Thank you for your help!

    • mel

      Its always BEFORE coupons.

  5. Lin

    Thank you Mel

Anytime you use fine powdered eye shadows it’s best to use a primer or a concealer. .. it preps the eyes for the shadow. .. then apply with an eye applicator. . Then tap the excess. . If you’re using a brush with the finer powders.. you’re bound to make a mess.. This trick even works with the cheapest eye shadow.

    • Lisa

I have found this to work as well as the primer is typically a tad tacky and it adheres the powder. Sometimes I prefer the very subtle color, especially at work.

  7. Emma

How many can you buy at once? I wanted 4…

    • Norma s.

      Emma,I bought 6 at once.

  8. Lisa D

Wow that’s a great deal! Thanks

As a Senior Beauty Advisor at Wags, I can tell you that these eyeshadows are not the best…they are very poor quality. The pigment is extremely light, and even with primer and layering, they do not last. ;/

BUT, if you still want to try them, please please PLEASE ask your beauty advisor if there is a limit. We are not able to allow buying out the entire shelf of a product, and that may include makeup. It is per store/manager discretion, as well as sr. beauty advisor’s discretion. In my store, I will probably limit to 4 each because I do not have many to spare.

Don’t forget to ring up in cosmetics, with or without beauty items. Those coupons count as currency for our registers and therefore help with our sales. Not to mention, the cosmetics department is very competitive among all stores in each district, so help out your favorite local store!

Just thought I’d throw out some friendly tips for you all. 😉

My Walgreens always says only number of coupons can be used must match number of items. Say I buy 2 eyeshadows they would tell me I would only be able to use 2 coupons not 3 or 4.

    • 00patrick

store coupons do not count towards that limit. if you have 4 items, some store coupons, and mfg. coupons, you could only have 4 mfg. coupons in that order.
