In addition to the Harbor Freight and Target deal shopping video posted yesterday evening, I actually have ANOTHER video for ya! I thought I’d once again change it up a bit and highlight some of the best baby deals you can score this week! Oh and of course, I had to bring a special guest along… 😉

* Note that I’m not able to highlight the CVS baby deals in the video, as there are currently no CVS locations in Boise. 🙁 However, if you are a CVS shopper, be sure to check out this *HOT* deal you can score on Pull-Ups!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      🙂

  2. Amber

I always buy baby sun screen, because it is the only kind I can find that has zinc oxide and Titanium dioxide (which are the best two things to protect against skin cancer). BUT the sprays do not have these ingredients. YAY for skin protection!

    Loved this, Collin!

I was supposed to go to CVS today to get the Pull Ups, but my AC went out & that’s what I got to do all day instead! Boo! On the plus side, it was just the thermostat & didn’t end up costing too much!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      She sure did! Thanks!! 🙂

  13. Maria

Your niece is a cutie!! I have a question if anyone can answer—I am not a stockpiler normally, but I do want to start stockpiling diapers in advance before our little one comes. My question is how many packages of each size would you ladies recommend to stock up on? Thanks in advance for helping this (almost) first time mom!

    • Maria

I guess this also goes for how many packages of wipes to get….basically I’ll take any tips I can get!! TIA!!

      • Susan

You can never have too many wipes. You will use them for more than just diaper changes–wiping hands, face, etc. As for diapers, my kids were in size 3 longer than any other size. You don’t want too many newborn ones, as they only go up to 10 lbs. I don’t even give that size as a gift to a new mom anymore–I usually give size 1.

        • JA

I will echo everything Susan said. I’ve been out of the diaper days for awhile now, but I remember Target wipes were great, very soft, almost cloth-like. They were my favorite. Your doctor should be able to give you a pretty good idea how big your baby will be as your due date approaches. Mine were both 8 lb. plus, so I don’t remember even using newborn diapers, I think we started off at size 1. Congrats and good luck!!!

          • Queenjen87

My LO was small, 5lb 5oz at 37 weeks, and I used newborn for 3 months. It all depends on your baby’s size. I usually took any unopened packs back to Walfart and exchanged for bigger ones if she outgrew them. They don’t require a receipt, so that worked best for me for no hassle returns.

    • Lauren

I stockpile whatever I can find and any ones I wasn’t able to use, I exchanged for a bigger size. I have been able to do that without a problem at CVS and my local Meijer. Sometimes I have receipts, other times I don’t. Also, there is never a guarantee of how long your kid will be in a certain size. My little guy right now practically went from size 3 to 4! I’ll donate anything I end up not using

    • S

All babies gain weight different but for my 9 months old he went through a big box (240) NB (daddy was diaper happy and used 20+ diapers a day) size 1 we used 2 big boxes (around 500) size 2 we had also 2 big boxes (450) and right now he’s still in size 3. Hope that helps =)

    • E

I highly suggest looking into cloth diapers. If you just can’t do it definitely atleast use cloth wipes! Saves soooo much money.

Reference: 8 kids. And I lived in a one bedroom with no washer or dryer for 2 of those!

    • suzyq

My little one is turning 3 months on Sunday and we did one small box of newborn (was a gift or I wouldn’t have bought it), they go through those way too fast. I think we used 2 large boxes of size 1 and now we are in size 2 already. Not gonna lie, she’s a chunky monkey but I also remember with my first she was in size 3 the longest. and same as the other comments you can never have enough wipes. I stock up for $.99 or less per pack.

      • maria

thanks for all of your great tips, ladies! I may have bought too many newborn ones :-/ its not close enough to see how big the baby will be yet, but I really appreciate all the tips. Hopefully I can exchange the newborn sizes if I need to later on. Thank you!!

        • sue

what I found with my two is that NB size lasted one month. size one 1-3,months,size two 3-6 months, size three 6-12 months. About 10-12 diapers per day for the first 6 months then slowly the amount goes down to 8-10 and keeps going down. Mine never made it to size 5 diapers they were potty trained by then. Cloth is a great option I found for while at home and at the very end. I made some cloth diapers with stretch sides that worked great for potty training and never needed pull ups. One the accidents stopped underwear was a breeze.

        • J

I agree on not buying many NB size. My baby is a week old today. We bought 1 small box of NB size diapers & she’s already seeming to have outgrown them. She’s a tiny little thing, just about 6.5lbs & is skinny but the NB ones seem to be too tight on her (using Pampers sensitive). I tried a size 1 on her & she seemed much more comfortable & it seemed to fit better. I’m a first time mom too, so it’s totally a learning experience 🙂 Good luck & congrats!

    • Megan

I used about 10 packs of size one because I changed frequently and she was born 8.9 lbs. she was never in newborn. Size two I would say about the same and size three get a lot! I would say about 20 jumbo packs! I just get the boxes now! And size 4 I would get about 15. Then potty train potty train potty train!! Lol! Hope this helps! And I used about 2 packs of wipes a week because I used them a lot just in general lol!

  14. Arianne

So stinking cute! The editing and music is all so good!! Love the vids!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks! Glad to hear it! 😀

  15. Sue

For some reason I can’t get the Ella’s Kitchen mobile coupon. I’ve gotten other mobile coupons for a long time now. I even specifically signed up the for baby mobile coupons a coulpe days ago and I still didn’t get it…

  16. Daniel

Haha the end when you’re trying to get a kiss from Charlie was hilarious xD Ty for all your great videos!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      😉

  17. Sophie

Just after watching the video, I am exhausted, lol! You are a brave woman to let her have free reign! I have 15 month old twins and toddlers are a lot of work to take shopping!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

LOL! And I truly was exhausted! It’s hard work! 😉

  18. Anne

How old is Charlie? She is adorable! I got suckered into buying a ball when my daughter looked at one and said “ba” for the first time at Target. 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      She’s around 17 months 🙂

  19. Niki

Can anyone tell me why every time in text offers baby4 and other codes it says sign up for target mobile, I have done these steps over and over. Is there any other way to get these codes , plz help

  20. spi_cy13

No CVS stores in Boise, Collin? Time for you to cross state lines! Road trip! 😀

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      😉

  21. Chrissie

Can anyone offer a link or links to the information regarding Banana Boat? What exactly is the issue? I thought I did good research before I bought new sunscreen this year and now I feel like I completely missed out on important information since I purchased Banana Boat brand!!

  22. amandaonfire25

I absolutely love your videos!!! I learn so much from you that other coupon moms try to keep to themselves. I scored the Target and Harbor Freight deals today!!! I had a question on the Sears grilling..when you get $50 in points..u still have to spend that in store right? It’s not cash.? Ty again!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So glad to hear you love the videos! 🙂 And to answer your question, you can use your points in-store OR online AND you can also use them at Kmart and/or Lands’ End. They are basically like “cash” to use at these participating stores!

  23. shalini

Loved the video Collin! 🙂 Where did you get that small black coupon binder? I need one. Thank you.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I actually got it from a friend who got a bit burnt out couponing and I am honestly not sure where she purchased it. I’ll have to ask next time I see her.

      • shalini

Ok. Thank you for replying! 🙂

      • Juliet

They have them in target for $1 by the one spot section

        • Kelly

          I got one from target

  24. Kelly

Love your video, alway fun to watch <3

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Glad to hear it! 🙂

  25. Lisha

Had to comment about the baby, your niece is beautiful!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      🙂

  26. Moria

I did the sweepstakes to get the Johnson’s coupon. There were 11 coupons to choose from, but the Johnson’s wasn’t a choice. I don’t know why it wasn’t.

  27. Julie

So cute, love your videos, my daughter is 18 months and she’s out of diapers, but will need to get some for my sisters they are expecting, thank you so much for the deals.

    • suzyq

Julie can you share your potty training secrets???? I just barely got my 3 year old trained and would love for #2 to train earlier than that! 🙂

    • Mrs. W

That’s awesome! My 15 month old is well on her way, also! She started showing interest in the potty around 10 months, so we’ve been working with her since then and it’s been going pretty well. 🙂

  28. Martina

Such a cute video! Love the special giest. Definitely more of a challenge with little ones to shop:) Great job!

  29. Kristie

I turned on the video and had my son run in from the kitchen (he’s 4). He said, “Mom, are you watching your coupon friend’s Target videos again?” Lol!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      LOL! Too cute! 😉

  30. Danielle

Has anyone else seen the Lansinoh packs at their walgreens? I’m going to go check mine today. I hope they have them!

  31. Lindsay

Love this baby series. I am expecting boy/ girl twins in September so a big help!

  32. Julie

No babies here anymore but that was such a cute video! Your niece is adorable 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thank you! 🙂

  33. Paige

    Very cute baby Charlie!!!

  34. April

We use Badger sunscreen it cost more but works well. Contains zinc oxide and no extra chemicals.

    • Tisha

I just started using that as well bc my daughter seems to be allergic to some kind of chemical the other sunscreens use. Definitely pricey but worth the extra $$ since it doesn’t make her break out in a rash!

  35. momscouponaffair Amanda

This was such a cute and informative video! She is a doll and I loved her sticking out her tongue at the end. 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      😀

  36. Chelsea

Baby deals are what I hunt for every week for my little one! Thank you for grouping them all up in one post for me! You’re the best Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are so welcome!!

  37. Belva

I would strongly suggest to all you young moms out there to look into reusable diapers. I bought a couple back in the day, and used them right after the poop. Saves $….I also started the potty training right around 14 months with my boys and they were done in a matter of months. M&Ms were the prize. Thanks Colin, always enjoy your page.

  38. Jennifer

Super cute surprise guest! Love all the videos you do. I am learning a lot!

  39. Sarah H

So adorable! Don’t know how much the ball was but it looks like one if those “cheap at twice the price” for how much love it got. Also thought it was funny that she would kiss the bear but not you — maybe if you were purple!
