NEW MEMBERS OF RUE LA LA OR LIVING SOCIAL?
I personally do NOT recommend living social. Their company is very rude and non professional. I once bought a Nordstrom rack gift card through them and it was awful. When I tried to print my gift card, it wouldn’t allow me to print the giftcard. So I tried to use the app on my phone and it said that I had already used the gift card (which I had not!!!) I called more than 10 times to get it fixed and they said it was not their fault and that they couldn’t do anything about it. I finally threatened to call the better business bureau on them for scamming me (since I didn’t use the gift card and nor was there a record of the gift card being used.) after days of arguing they offered me a new gift card. So in the end, I won. But I told them I would never do business with them ever again. They’re also known for overbooking events and specials. Then customers can’t make a reservation and lose their money. Living social does not give refunds either. Horrible company. If you’re willing to press your luck, go ahead. I only purchase from groupon. At least they seem to give refunds!!!!
You have 7 days to get a refund on LS unless the terms of the deal state otherwise (like show tickets for a specific date, gcards etc)
never had an issue with LS and purchase almost every time they have a $5 off code or 20%! We have done hotel stays, shows, local food and event places etc…love LS and their codes.
I have to agree they are an awful company.
