the micro fiber ones are awful-I bought them because $5.99 was cheap and they seemed soft but they do not absorb ANYTHING-you’d get dryer rubbing down with Saran Wrap. ๐Ÿ™

    • Jennifer

      LOL!! Now that’s a visual!

      • Pharmchick

Reminds me of that scent from fried green tomatoes.. Lol

    • Megan

      I hate microfiber towels!

      • Erin

Me, too! And it is so hard to find nice, inexpensive terry towels for the kitchen these days. I’ll be glad when the microfiber fad is over.

  2. Just Me

That’s why I love kmart. Too bad there isn’t one near by ;(

  3. Amy

I got so much stuff after Christmas when I went to this sale. But that Kmart shut down. the only one left near me I am sure is picked over…but I will go check tomorrow because that is what I do ๐Ÿ˜‰ lol!

  4. Jodie Lancaster

Well our kmart in Orem, utah closed and now the one one Provo is closing and I am sure they are having some good sells gonna check it out Sat. But if you live around here I would get there to get some of the better items. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Kaylene

I went the provo one the other day and they no longer do deals like this because they are closing down. They don’t take coupons or follow the ad or anything. And everything was only marked 20% off. I didn’t find 1 good deal there yet… Maybe they’ve lowered it more now, but it wasn’t even a week ago when I was there…

Hi do you know how long this sale is going for my kids really need toys. We were homeless for a little while and all their toys was lost and we have been blessed and are getting back on our feet I just donโ€™t get paid until the 23rd.

    • Queenjen87

Usually until gone. (Which is pretty quick) You should be able to hit the target 70% off toy clearance either next Thursday or the last Thursday of this month (I doubt they are going to drop the price this week). They have some really good stuff this year from what I have scoped out. Great job getting back on you All’s feet! Make sure to check out some garage sales on the last day and thrift stores. I found a lalapoosi doll in great shape for $2 at one the other day. Garage sales people will just want to be rid of stuff on the last day and are probably donating it anyways and will let you have your pick dirt cheap.

      • Khadijah

Thank you so much I will try target on closet to target anyways

    • Jen

I will second the comment to scope out some yard sales if you are able. Toys in excellent condition for very cheap. You can check craigslist or garage sale finder website to see what sales may be going on and people often list if they have kids stuff or not. The vast majority of my kids toys are from yard sales.

      • Khadijah

Thank you I am finally off on weekends thank God so I’ll shop the yard sales

    • Erin

Congrats and good luck to you! I’d agree about yard sales. Go to a “nicer” neighborhood. Kids have so many toys that they usually can’t/won’t play with them all before their parents want to declutter. I wouldn’t worry about Kmart. In my experience, they usually had mostly weird/outdated/gimmicky toys marked down. Target’s better but you’ll get more bang for your buck at yard sales.

      • Khadijah

Thank you I will check out the yard sales and wait for target ๐Ÿ™‚

Got some nice toy deals today.
    Fisher Price Baby Basketball. 2.75
Mini Game keychain (Monopoly) 62 cents
    Yoshii large figure 1.75

They also had Fisher Price Ballcano for 9.00. They also had a ton of Greedy Gator.

  7. Jean

I hardly shop at Kmart, but happened to be by there a few wks ago while shopping for something else next door. They had a few Disney playsets marked 45.99, then marked down to $37 and 50% additional is $18.50. I thought I was getting a fantastic deal until I decided to cross check Target & Walmart on my smartphone. Turns out their original prices were both $20 for the same exact sets. So I saved a few dollars, but was appalled that Kmart would mark their stuff up so much.

    • Erin

Yup. I price check almost any nonfood item I buy. Kmart was always terrible. Walmart clearance is surprisingly high, too. I’m also suspicious of the prices at places like Ollie’s and Big Lots. Occasionally, there is a deal, but much of their stock is overpriced if you coupon. I find it is best to buy only items for which you know the prices–avoid those spur of the moment purchases–and price check as much as possible on larger items to ensure you are getting a deal.

  8. Judy

Hubby and I help out toys for tots and this is a great way to do that cheaply!

  9. Andrew

Clearance 75% Deal started on the 13th, ends on the 26th.

  10. Ash

Where is everyone located for this deal? I’m in Chester county pa. I called a de store and they said they didn’t have this sale.

    • Heather B.

I’m in PA as well and I found tons of toys marked down. Just go back to the toy department and look for the yellow stickers. They are take an additional 75% off, my Kmart has a scanner back in the dept. so I double checked all the prices. *And make sure you watch to make sure they scan up correctly! Mine all scanned properly today but have not in the past.

  11. Toni

Thats an awesome deal! My daughter loves Sophia the First I am definitely eyeing that towel for her

  12. Heather B.

I got a ton of toys today for less than $60. Some originally $39 toys, that I paid $7.50 for. Thanks!

  13. Jennifer

Nothing is marked at my kmart, whoever found things can you post a pic, or let us know what to look for, thanks ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. Ash

Heather where in pa are you?

  15. Monique Holladay

Got some amazing deals on toys today at the draper utah kmart. Baby alive for $7 and tons of other great deals! Thanks for posting this!

  16. Carrie

I was able to get $199 worth of toys and games today for $44. Great deal!

  17. Katelyn

I was able to get monster high dolls for $3.75, transformers for $3, Barbies for 2.75 ๐Ÿ™‚ I ended up getting over $200 worth of items for around $35! Christmas gifts and toys for tots!

  18. Andrew

The Bopit Tetris by me was 5.50.
The Pointing fingers was regular price.
The duck dynasty game was also 3.75.
They also had Magic Jinn for $5.
Several Monsters University Toys for 2.75-7.50
Fisher Price Scoop and Whirl Popper for 4.25

  19. Amy

In northern KY I found the 75% off section pretty wiped out… roaming the regular isles I found these yellow sticker toys: The bopit listed above (mine was $5.50 not $3). Duck commander hunting video game marked $36.00 = $9.00 after 75% off. Justin and Dave’s Awesome Would you Rather board game $13.84 = $3.40 after 75% off; my favorite…Lalaloopsy Goldie Lux $37.00 = $9.25!! all are going for much more on Amazon.

  20. Sarah

There wasn’t much left at the KMART in Charleston, SC. They had a lot of Angry Birds stuff, so if you are interested in that I would definitely go. They had some Beyblade stuff as well that may be worth going for and a few Magic Jinns and Sully Masks from Monsters University. Not much else though.

  21. Rose

Went yesterday to my kmart in Virginia and was able to get 2 superman figures, 2 monster university figures, and a transformer for $10
