LOVE Bamboobies! The Baby Legs are nice, not sure if I’d pay the ridiculous shipping charges for most of the other items. Tempted to try the Bally Bands though, has anyone used those?

    • Shondorp

I have both types of their belly bands and LOVED them! Am in the home stretch now and don’t wear them as often but would HIGHLY recommend!

  2. Christy

The carseat canopy is very nice and of high quality IMO. Well worth the shipping cost.

    • Jenny

I agree my daughter is almost three months now and I have been very happy with it. Totally worth the shipping charge

  3. Maria

I also want advice if anyone knows about the belly bands, or what belly band brand is best! Due in November with our first!

    • aa

I ordered the belly bands a few weeks ago. I personally dont use them at all and I feel like there a pain and not worth it. Oh and if you have pants with bigger buttons you cant use them.

    • Caley

In response to the belly bands, I used them through my entire first pregnancy, and they saved me from having to purchase professional maternity pants, they really help extend your pre-pregnancy wardrobe. But it kind of depends on the person, my sister didn’t like having something snug around her waist, and it didn’t bother me at all. For the price, it isn’t a bad option to try.

    • Suzyq

I purchased a belly band at target during my pregnancy and I loved it. Not sure the brand but they have them in black white and nude colors

    • Shondorp

Really cool things about these ones are the fact that they actually button in to your pants- no hair tie or rubber band needed πŸ™‚

    • MommySpendsLess

I didn’t use belly bands while I was pregnant but I wore one that I bought at Target daily for weeks right after my daughter was born. It really helped eliminate that jiggly feeling while my muscles and skin tightened back up. It made me feel more ‘held together’ (for lack of a better description) and I thought it made my belly area smoother and a bit flatter looking too. One of the only short-term-use products that I would consider worth every penny (in my experience)…and I probably paid $15-$20 5 years ago.

      • Maria

Thanks for the responses, ladies! I’ll check my local target.

    • Alicia

The belly band at target is $17. I found a black one at Ross for $4.99. I love it. Due in October and still using it.

  4. Cassandane

This company has terrible reviews! The products are cheaply made, sizing is off, and CS is lacking if you try to contact them. Don’t waste your inflated shipping cost.

  5. Gwen cake

I luv this ! Thanks for the ideas , I’m having my 1st baby in March 2015 πŸ™‚

  6. Stephanie

I ordered a seven sling 4 years ago when my son was a preemie and loves it. It was perfect for toting him around. Once he got older, and bigger, it was less useful.

  7. Oharra

The only reason it’s free is because the outrageous shipping costs. These are generally always free. Every place I registered they give these out. The car seat canopy is the only thing worth the money. The nursing pillow was very flimsy and small, the carrier was hard to use even with the instructions. Save your money.

  8. Tara

I have the carseat canopy and I really liked it….I thought it was well made and pretty

  9. kitty

Save your money. I’ve tried both the sling and nursing cover. Very poor quality. My baby didn’t feel safe or secure in the carrier whatsoever. But this is also coming from someone who owns other carriers & nursing covers so I know which are good and which are not. If you haven’t much experience w/ carriers or covers, perhaps these will be acceptable. But I wouldn’t pay $1 for these products. (Only referring to sling & nursing cover.)

  10. Tina

I got the the nursing cover… I have used it multiple times and like it. It was a spur of the moment buy so I didn’t look at any others – good quality though. Shipping took quite some time to get it.

  11. Tygre

The car seat canopy is very nice, thick and pretty. The bamboobies are the most awesome breast pads out there. Soft, absorbent, and they wash great. Definitely recommend both.

  12. Marlene

Off topic have any of you breastfeeding moms ever had an issue with your bones aching im taking my vitamins but it seems like all my bones hurt my daughter is 2 months she my 3 and last i breastfeed my other 2 for more fhen a yr and never felt this i googled it and many moms have this any suggestions And i have to return to work next week tia

    • Kay

Maybe try having your Vitamin D checked? I have noticed I get shin pain when my levels are low. HTH

      • Marlene

        Thank u for the suggestion

    • jess

I vaguely remember my OB/GYN saying something like, “the baby draws calcium from you (your bones)” so if your calcium intake is low, the baby gets first dibs on it, and you get what’s leftover. I may sound crazy, but calcium might be a place to start. And increase your water and “milk” intake. Can’t hurt to try.

      • Marlene

        Thx

  13. Raquella

I have both the carseat canopy and the nursing cover. I love both of them. The carseat canopy is great quality and totally worth the shipping. It was cheaper to just pay shipping for the nursing cover then to buy one at the stores. I recommend both!

  14. Mer

Don’t know about all these products, but I wanted to say kudos to all you nursing mothers. I’m currently nursing my 11 month old and it’s tough to keep going! I also wanted to share a VIP credit to thredup for you mamas that haven’t already signed up. Shopping online is what I do while nursing! https://www.thredup.com/r/VZNK6U

  15. NL

Off topic, but I received a $20 code for Shutterfly from Kellogg’s Rewards that I won’t be using. Here it is: KE54-6ARY-3UTN-UY0WW0.

    • Kimberly

Thank you so much! This is going to be used to get a baby photo book made πŸ™‚

  16. jess

Ditto on majority of comments. The carseat cover is the only thing worth the crazy shipping fee. They are nice and good quality. And I say “crazy shipping fee” because mine came in a clear thin see thru plastic by US Mail, NOT fedex!!! Don’t waste your money on their other stuff. They are all sister companies and not worth the “shipping fees.”

  17. Liz

    Crazy shipping charges!

  18. Macey

Any tips on good nursing bras? Where to buy? My target didn’t have a selection. Is there an online store that people love? Any deals with it being breast feeding week? Tia

    • Brooke

My favorite (wearing right now!) is from Target. My other fav is from Destination Maternity, but can be found at Buy Buy Baby. Sleeping bras, similar to sports bras, are a joke IMO because it keeps trying to close over your boobs while baby nurses. Clip downs rock. That’s why I live in spaghetti strap tanks. Nursing my second baby πŸ™‚

    • Cheryl

Ebay! i have bought all my nursing bras there, all brand new with or without tags! I got a really nice one that was originally $60 for $18! It stinks that you can’t try them on, but my town doesn’t have a very good selection and if they don’t fit I resell them. Maybe you could go to target and figure out your size then order from ebay? Good luck! (btw, my babys name is Macy!!!)

    • Jean

Do you have a specialty bra shop in your area? I got mine from the bra shop. Also, for more sports bra type bra I loved the Medela ones I got from Toys R Us. The Gillian O Malley ones from Target aren’t too shabby either. Good luck!

    • 1luv

I have always used and liked sport bras …I find they are most discreet while nursing, hold everything in place, we comfortable, And can be used even after the nursing stages are done with. I buy mine from Walmart.com fruit of the loom 100% cotton. Of course if one is larger than a c cup, I’d recommend something more supportive.

  19. Charissa smith

    Love the baby gear!

  20. Just Me

That type of carrier has a risk for suffocation due to baby’s chin touching chest. I had on( different brand) but only used it once since I was afraid she wasn’t breathing right. Loved my moby wrap tho it is a really long piece of cloth. Drag on the floor while u wrap kinda long. I always imagine a nasty parking lot lol

  21. Michelle

Thanks! with my son I only used disposable pads but want to try reusable ones this time. I was able to score NUK brand pads for a steal with babiesrus clearance but really wanted to try the bamboobies also but didn’t want to spend that sort of money on them in case I didn’t like them… Glad I held out πŸ™‚

  22. Jean

I agree these are always “FREE, just pay shipping” no matter when, or what site they are posted on. The quality is horrible (like cheap, dollar store quality). I would be embarrassed to give as shower gift, but are nice to use when you’re in a pinch. Not trying to be mean or rude, just honest so you guys don’t waste your money πŸ˜‰

  23. diane

If you’re looking to buy Lilypadz silicone nursing pads there is a good deal on burlingtoncoatfactory online. I’ve never tried them before but they retail for about 20 a pair.
I ordered 2 pairs for 12.95 shipped. They are on clearance for 2.98 a pair and shipping is 5.99. Just do a search for nursing pads.

  24. e

I formula feed but am ordering some stuff for other mommas like the breast pads!

  25. Neta

Toys R Us is having a 90% off clearance on a few items. I found tons of pump accessories in those bins; they were right at the front of the store! Worth checking out

  26. Alicia

The company that makes the canopy also makes car seat covers. You can buy the whole set including the canopy, use the $50 off code and get it for around $40. This is a great price. I just want to know if anyone has ordered these and are the car seat covers good quality?

  27. Adriana

I bought the car seat canopy and love it! I double it’s use and clamp it up in the car as a sun shade! That’s the only thing (IMO) that’s worth paying the $12.95 shipping.

  28. Menesesitas

    ^ i completely agree !
