I got the Post-it’s for free today.
Thanks for posting this. I printed the BIC $1/2 Target coupons last week and I was able to reprint them today.
Scotch and Post-Its reset for me too! And Yoobi… if you already printed these try again.
Didn’t reset for me. Bummer.
I could not reprint the post it notes or the scotch tape coupons. Bummer!
Hi ..I could not find a post it note for a dollar..where did u all find it..pls help..thanks
They are in the school section in the back of the store (they are 90 ct. packs). The post it notes in the regular stationery section are not at this price. HTH π
Thank u..
It was a single package in the back to school area for me, for $1.02. HTH.
Wondering if the box pencils are only in the SS insert or can I print them off their web site
I used the post it notes coupon already on the single pk of post-it’s from the back to school section. They were priced at $1.02 each, however that coupon beeped and said “no item purchased”. Of course had a cashier who could only say the computer won’t take it. A front end manager told him to push it through. Same thing for the scotch tape $1 Target coupon…
Anyone else having this problem?
Hi, Susan. I’ve read where a lot of people are having this problem also.
Yes, they beeped, but the cashier made it work.
Same problem here. The cashier said it HAD to be the one pictured, so I had her void off the $1 tape. She suspended my order to ring up the other people behind me until I came back with a roll like the one pictured . The coupon still beeped!! Cashier said hmm, that is totally weird. So she called another cashier over and in the end I wound up getting the $1 tape free. This happens every.single.year for back to school when they put these coupons out. They must be miscoded or something b/c they beep even when you have the same item pictured.
I just used them last night and had no problems with the post-it’s or the scotch tape target q’s.
I tried using my coupon on the $1.02 Post It and the register beeped. Sadly, my cashier was not the type to simply press a button to allow it through. I used the Scotch tape coupon on a $1.44 Scotch tape item and had no problem.
My coupons beeped as well. The $1/1 Post It & the $1/1 Scotch tape. Both I found in the back to school section. Of course I had other coupons as well, which he fanned out near the scanner. When I looked at my receipt he totally did not scan those $2 coupons or my $2/$10 Crayola purchased. So bummed.
Yes, my coupons beeped for the post-its and scotch tape too! I picked them up in the back to school area. If you get a competent enough cashier to push the accept button on the register it will allow the coupon to be used.
The coupons I just printed expire 9/2.
The coupon beeped; howerver, the cashier pushed it through. Thank you for posting
I had an interesting experience with this and similar coupons the other day and I’d like your feedback:
I had the $1.50 off three up and up school supply coupon (NLA), the $1 off scotch tape/scissor coupon, and the $1 off post-it coupon. I bought three up and up folders ($0.50 each), the pack of post its ($1.02), and scotch tape roll ($1.02). Of course, each coupon said “no item available” and the cashier refused the coupons. Then she called a GSTL who said the items were “too low of a value” to be accepted, to which I refuted her claim by stating the Target coupon policy. When the GSTL refused, Asset Protection (the target security guard) stepped in and said the same thing. I refuted his argument again and that led me to request a higher up manager. TWO members of management arrived and they said the same thing. Their argument throughout was that the cost of the items were too low and that they do not accept coupons when the items meet or slightly exceed the coupon value, despite my reference to the coupon policy. When she asked where I got the coupons, I told her the target coupon website’s url and she said that the site was fraudulent and that they do not accept coupons like that. This lasted for 20 minutes (luckily I was in the Electronics department checking out) and this was the outcome: I was able to get my items for $0.04, I taught them about the target coupon website to which the higher manager said “she’ll look into it” and “thank you for clarifying” with a group of 5 Target employees huddled around Electronics trying to figure the whole thing out.
What do you think?
I think you are very patient! Good for you explaining everything. The hardest part about couponing is that it does not seem to be a priority when people go through training. I had a similar experience at CVS when the manager told me the coupon I got from the CVS website was a fake (I think it made M&M’s cheap or free). She said people hack into the site and change the coupons. She gave me the items but I just laughed. If I’m hacking into the CVS website, it’s going to be for more than some free M&M’s!
Thursday I found an item I was looking for. I only had the TQ. I had left the MQ at home. I still bought it and it dropped it to $1.69 on the receipt. The MQ was for $2. I go to customer service today and the cashier tells me since I used a coupon, I can’t use another. I explained the scenario to her-twice. She keeps telling me I can either use a TQ or MQ, not both. Now she is just being ignorant! I very politely explained to her that she was going against policy since she could adjust it down and give me $1.69. Then she must have really wanted to look stupid and starts telling me to buy another item so I could use the coupon. I informed her that based on our salaries, I had already lost money on the time we were wasting debating this and took my coupon back. As I was walking away, I saw a lead who is usually stern (she once told me that I milked deals for all they were worth when I wanted a cartwheel adjustment), I stopped her and told her what transpired. She was like.. “You are right” and gave me the $2, even though I kept telling her all they owed me was $1.69.
I have a horrible printer and my coupons are never able to be scanned at target. Last time I went they refused to take them. Anything I can do, other than getting a better printer?
I used to have the same problem. Try changing your printer settings to “fast draft”. Your printer will use less ink and I think that makes the difference in scanning the coupon.
I printed in color today and they still wouldn’t scan. The cashier gave me such a hard time and then customer service refused to take them. I wasted all that color ink for nothing. I guess I am not meant to print target coupons.
Site won’t let me print any of these coupons. I often have problems with the site not letting print off coupons, even with first attempts.
Starting 9/3??? Coupon for BIC item is $1/2 set to expire today.
Hi everyone! I’m new to this , could someone explain where you get a smart source insert? Thanks for any input! π
Your Sunday newspaper.
Just checked my inserts (they come in the saturday paper since there is no sunday paper) and no bic coupons for me. π
Hey people, I hate it when some of you clear the shelf. Don’t be gready leave some for other people.
What’s an 8/3 SS??
It’s an insert in the Sunday (or Saturday- depends on the paper) paper; SS= smart source, 8/3= august 3 (the date of the paper it came in)
Newbie here, I tried this deal today and the coupon beeped. The cashier told me that I couldn’t use a $1.00 coupon on a $0.99 item. Is this true? What should I do to get this deal? TIA for any help.
It should go through and drop it to a $0.99 coupon (if it beeps, which it has for me, the cashier can either push “accept anyway” (which will leave it at $1) or manually key in the coupon for $0.99
Anybody know we here I can buy the target Q’s for this?
You can print it from coupons.target.com
