i have a question regarding EBATES lets say i bought something for $500 and got 6% cash back and i got my check mailed to me later with in 60 days i have to return the item what will happen to the cash back i got? will it make my ebates account negative? will i have to mail them a check for the amount or what?
There’s generally a long wait period between when you purchase something and get credit for it, and when you get the cash back in check/paypal form. Purchases Posted Between/Big Fat Check Sent: Jan 1-Mar 31- payout May 15, Apr 1-June 30- payout August 15, July 1-Sept 30- payout Nov 15, Oct 1-Dec 31- payout Feb 15. I’ve found they rarely take back the rebate when I return something. Hope that helps.
I normally see my rebate adjusted for a return. (Though, I’ve never returned something after the check has been sent out)
