My wags wouldn’t let me do the makeup remover deal and the cheapest foundation was $12 so no almay deal …. But I did get 2 revlon eye shadows for 29 cents each but I had to do 2 transactions. Also my wags says booster coupon is rung up after coupons so you have to have a $25 purchase after coupons … Another bummer. Currently i have enough points for $50 redemption and once i figure out how to spend them I am done with wags points and just hitting up RR deals when they are good.

Do rr count as store coupons if I use them for the points booster senario?
They count as manufacturers coupons. Be sure to keep an eye on how many items/manufacturer coupons you have because since the rr counts as one. I ended up with a ton of the 19 cent highlighters because of that lol.

What is Walgreens policy on Rain Checks if an item as a RR? When you redeem the rain check will you get the sales price and receive the RR as well?
No rain checks on items with RR.
Hey there I just left Walgreens and apparently at my Walgreens the 5,000 bonus is after all coupons it’s what you actually come out of pocket with.. I didn’t get a single booster and all my totals were over $25 after store coupons before manufacturer coupons. Needless to say this is my last Walgreens trip!
Did you have them scan the points booster coupon first? I found out during one of my p.b. purchases that the p.b. coupon should be scanned before the pre-tax $25 total is reduced by manufacturer coupons.

My ad says the herbal essence body wash is on sale not the shampoo/conditioner, therefore the $3/2 coupon won’t work- darn! Anyone else see this in their ad?
Is anyone else having problems finding the scope in stores?
I’m having problems. It seems every Walgreens is sold out of the Scope small size in my area, and according to Walgreens Online the stores don’t carry the size that is advertised in the weekly ad.

yes, at my walgreeens yesterday, they only had the bigger 1 Liter size. They said the smaller size was discontinued. 🙁
the Walgreens diapers rang up BOGO half off! So I got 4 for $18, plus 4000 points so $3.50 per pack! It would be even sweeter if you did spend the $25 to get the booster, but I didn’t want to spend more
Diapers were bogo for me as well! I kept asking the cashier why was there a difference from the ad and the computer but it seemed as she didnt even know. I was afraid I wouldn’t get the points since it didn’t total to the advertised price but after paying and going through my receipt, bam! There they were!!! One happy mama here 🙂

The weekly sale is over lapping with the monthly sale for the diapers! If your Walgreens does military discount it takes an extra 20% off each pk of diapers!
Has anyone tried to buy the Gatorade and get the Spend $6 = 1,000 Balance Rewards points (= a $1 reward)? My husband tried this morning and the cashier told him he could only buy 6 at the $0.69 with in ad coupon and the other 3 would ring up at $1.49 each. The cashier said the points for Gatorade were a month long thing. Does that sound right?
Just went to walgreens and they have a sign up that its a misprint and limit is 9 and get 1000 points. I did the deal and it worked
Atlanta: Got the bonus points for spending $25 and the District Manager (who’s in store today working very hard along w/the others) gave permission to purchase 9 Gatorades…could be because husband is going through chemo/radiation and drinking these to stay hydrated. So, earned 1k point to as well, nice!
As for the coupon books (ie: Dove Beauty), this store no longer leaves them out. Instead, they post signs for products they have coupons for. You ask the beauty consultant for one, BUT in order to hand it to you…you **must** bring the product to them to purchase. So odd, but I did as she asked and scored 2 Dove soap bars (reg & senstive skin) for free.
The coupons at the cosmetic counter are used to generate sales at this register, we have daily sales goals to meet, otherwise people do not come back to the counter to check out.

I always checkout at cosmetic counter and I have seen they are more friendlier then all other cashiers. Some times I have more then one transaction and I don’t want to block their main counters.

I have a question. I’m new to couponing and have been a faithful lurker of this site😁. I’m confused on using the August booklet and manufacter coupons together as it says in booklet that it cannot be used with other offers?
My Walgreens (SW WI) would not let me use both the points booster and the beauty booster…they called it ‘double dipping’….:(
My Walgreens also would not let me use both points and beauty booster….cashier didn’t even try to scan the beauty booster and just said it wouldn’t work. I wasn’t expecting that so now trying to figure out how much I actually saved vs. overspent.
Have it clipped to your card on the wags app and they won’t even notice! You just need to scan it once/clipped and you’re good to go for the rest of the month
The register system will not let us scan both of the coupons in the same transaction, once he beauty coupon has been scanned to your balance reward card, it will stay linked to your card till the end of this month, if you are not sure if you have had this done make a small cosmetic purchase first, before doing your booster point purchase– for example this week do the Revlon eye shadow that Collin talked about for .29, hope this helps all!!

Can you clarify if the booster is for $25 purchase AFTER coupons? My wags insists that I would have to purchase well over $25 of actual merchandise because I am using coupons (so basically once all my manufacturer coupons are deducted the total has to be $25) which makes no sense. So if the booster is BEFORE coupons … any suggestions on how to get my wags on track?

Some stores are mis-informed, so instead of trying to explain to them that it should work;
Just tell them to scan the coupon anyways. even if you scan the booster coupon after coupons are deducted if you have spent $25 after Store coupons it will give you the 5,000 points. 🙂 HTH
I got a super awesome deal this week! I went to get the Scope Outlast at one Wags and they didn’t carry it, the manager said it was discontinued. I went to another wags and they had them clearance for $1.19!!!!!! Used my $1/1 MQ, I bought 3 and the $5 RR printed out!!!!! So I went and grabbed 3 more!! Same thing! I paid less that $2 with tax and received $10 in RR! I never get that kind of luck at wags! Especially since the cashier told me I wasn’t allowed to do separate transactions if I was using coupons :-/
I read this post earlier, and went back to my Walgreens to try my luck with the
Scope. Not as great a deal (mine were on sale for $1.59), but it was still a money

Yay!!!!! I don’t normally go to that Wags since I have another one closer to me. But since the cashier at the first one wouldn’t allow me to do 3 small transactions when there was no one else in the store, I just left and went to the other one. Awesome find! I’m happy they still had some at your store!
For those of you that tried to get the 5,000 point booster at Walgreens: if you’re using ANY Walgreen coupons from their ad insert or the coupon booklet, those coupons have to be scanned first! After that, your purchase total has to be $25 before they scan the point booster coupon and then scan all your manufacture coupons!! I had a manager that didn’t know what he was doing and I got jipped out of 5,000 PTS. Today I went to a different Walgreens and I scored my 5,000 PTS!! Good luck!! Today’s the last day!!
You can take your receipt back to the store and have them give you the 5000 points or call the number on the receipt.
