went to wags yesterday for some deals and here is what I found:
1) checked online to see if my store carried the Almay CC smart shade foundation, yes at $9.99 each.
2) got to store and the price was marked $14.49 each. Spoke to store mgr about price discrepancy. She said big push to get people to buy online and she would not match the price. funny, it’s your store. but she wouldn’t budge.
3) found foundation at a price of $10.49 and BOGO 50% made the one $10.49 and the other one $5.24. Used the $3.00 WAGS coupon in the august book and here’s what happened on the register. It dropped the prices to $7.49/$2.24 (the coupon applied to both products).
4) used the $4/1 (times 2) from the 8/10 SS and paid $1.75 for both foundations!
5) mitchum deo on sale for $2.99, used $2.00 coupon in paper and paid $0.99 each.
Our family uses these deals to build a bag of products for the food bank. Thank you for the leg work that you provide. While it takes a bit of time to put together the deals, pull coupons and such, the savings are so worth the effort.
Last week, went to Rite Aid and bought Tide detergent (4.99 sale price) 2 cover girl mascara (BOGO 50%) 2 Revlon nail polishes (BOGO 50%) and had to do filler of gum, with coupons and $12 in +UP rewards, paid $0.66 for it all!
