Starbucks: Treat Receipt Reminder (Valid Thru 8/17)
Just a reminder! Through this Sunday, August 17th only, make any Starbucks purchase before 2PM and then enjoy any Grande 16 oz cold beverage for just $2 (plus tax) after 2PM the same day at participating stores in the U.S. and Canada. Just remember to show them your receipt when you return.
*HIP TIP* – Keep in mind that the promo does state to make ANY Starbucks purchase before 2pm to qualify. With that being said, check out these readers comments left on a previous post:
Go before 2pm and load your Starbucks card with $$$, then you will get a receipt for after 2pm!

PLEASE everyone keep in mind that this usually only applies to corporately owned Starbucks stores and NOT always licensed or cafe stores (ones that are inside grocery stores, airports, Barnes & Noble, etc). If you want to ensure that you will get a treat receipt at a participating Starbucks, go to a standalone location.

I could never walk in Starbucks and not order a drink I love it to much.

Here, the Starbucks inside grocery stores and such do the treat receipts, but not the ones inside Barnes and Noble. The difference is if they are a “We Brew Starbucks” (B&N) or a true Starbucks inside a store (our grocery).
I get a bagel for $1.50 there.
I do multiple transactions if more than one of us will want a treat receipt. So when I was out with my Mom, daughter, and niece for a girls day, we did 4 transactions in the morning then we all got $2 frappuccinos for an afternoon treat. I wish they would do it by the number of items on the receipt. That would make it easier for them and me. 🙂

I was told the receipt had to be before noon to count.
i went at 145 not even thinking about the treat receipt and still got a receipt with the treat on it! (say that three times fast!) The barista was OK with this.
Do you have to go back to the same one or can you go to different Starbucks with the morning receipt?
You can take the treat receipt to any Starbucks.
