I don’t understand how the comp books are 7/$1 if they’re advertised for 69 cents in the picture..?
It’s kinda confusing, but there are different composition books that are 40 to 80 sheets priced at 7/$1 (and they are the Mini ones advertised on the front page of the ad), then there are the full-size Wexford Composition Book 80 sheets priced at $0.69 with in ad coupon.
The mini ones that are 7/$1 are literally pocket size…like the small memo notebooks. I would say roughly 3″ x 5″

I was told at Walgreens that if its a B1G1 you can’t use a $1.00 off of 2 since you aren’t buying 2. Is this true? very lame if it is….
correct. as part of their updated coupon policy, you can no longer use a coupon that will apply towards an item made free by store sale. So if it’s $1/2, you need 4 items, so the $1 off applies towards the 2 items you are actually purchasing.
I agree, it is very lame, therefore I hardly shop Wags anymore.

My Walgreens will not stack coupons. You can’t have more coupons than you have items, i.e. 1 item = 1 coupon. You can’t have more coupons than you have items.
You can stack with Walgreens coupons. You can’t have more manufacture coupons, which also includes RR, than items. However, walgreens coupons, which you can find in the booklet, is okay.
You can use both for the purell deal. Since the product price is $2.99 and the manufacture coupon is for $2. You just have to give the cashier the manufacture coupon, then scan the store coupon. The store coupon will adjust for the remaining amount. ($0.99) Hope that helps!
Based on the new coupon policy, of not allowing a coupon or register reward with a value greater than the price of the item (like a $1 RR or coupon for a $.99 item), you’re going to have to adjust the way you post deals such as the purell hand sanitizer since it’s price at 2.99, if you use the $1 august walgreens coupon booklet coupon, you can’t use the $2/1 coupon also since the price will only be $1.99, so you can’t get that FREE, best you can do are the other coupons, but not the $2/1 coupon.

The only way you might be able to get the Purell deal to work is to give the manuf coupon first and the IVC last. if you give the IVC first, it will auto-change the price to $1.99 and the $2 manuf coupon will not go through.
I am in the same boat. I’ve got 43000 pts for the $50 reward and once I figure out the best way to use them I’m done with Wags =/ CVS is sooooooo much better and nicer to couponers!
rewards points don’t expire. So if you’re not in a hurry; just save them for the black Friday sales! Walgreens always has an awesome black Friday sale!

They do expire if you don’t use your card all year….as long as you use it at least once a year or so, they sit there waiting to be used. 🙂 I work at Wags.
I totally agree with Brina…we always have awesome black friday sales so def. save those points for that. Just go buy a pack of gum or something cheap with your card at least once to keep it “active” so your points stay dormant.
Actually, you have to use your card once every 6 months or any points you have are forfeited. I just checked and found that the $20 in points I had were forfeited last week because I didn’t use my card for 6 months 🙁

Yup. Got 111,120 pts. AND more than 1/2 year left on my prescription membership card AND several rain checks that just aren’t that great of deals anymore…however, our local store manager is SUPER and really bends over backwards so I will keep going in for the really great deals. At least for awhile.

Some stores may still adjust, it’s up to the manager. But since the total is $2.68 and you’re using $2 worth of coupons it will not beep. Hope that helps.

The $3 in store coupon is only for face products, which is just the foundations and powders as far as I have seen working when I’ve rung up my customers.
For the Bic Highlighters 5 pk Brightliner deal– Wags in ad coupon makes it .79 each (1.58 for 2, limit 2) and then their computer system would NOT take the $1 off 2 Bic items (and yes the picture of the highlighters was on the manufacturer coupon!). Cashier told me their system will sometimes not allow 1 wags/1 manufacturer coupon if it brings the item cost too low. So I guess the scenario where you get them for .29 each doesn’t work, even though it should. Makes no sense. This is why I love CVS….
Hi CW, you should always give manufacture coupons first when stacking with a walgreens coupon. 1) Buy the Bic Highlighters 2) give cashier the manufacture coupon 3) scan the in-ad store coupon

CW—it wouldn’t take the $1/2 because both items were below a dollar. I had the same issue yesterday buying Bic pens that were 99 cents each (no Wags coupon needed) and the coupon was also rejected. The reason is it was looking only for one item to be above a dollar, not apparently realizing that the coupon was off two items.
They have a serious programming issue right now, and that is why RR are being rejected if the filler that you are using them on is below the amount of the RR.
My store as well as the online walgreens help have told me you cannot receive a register reward now if you use a coupon, just a heads up!!

Did anyone else have trouble with the RR reward not printing for the Colgate toothpaste deal? The cashier tried at 2 different registers, and it wouldn’t print. Then the manager tried using a Colgate toothbrush instead of the toothpaste, and it printed, so she gave me that one.
Yes, Wags messed this up. Unfortunately until it is resolved (manager should have put in fix-it ticket to company to fix issue) they can only offer you a refund or refer you to a send-in register reward by mail, which takes forever.

Yes, you can use both coupons. However the store coupon does not apply for the cosmetic items that are giving the Register Rewards.
It is for Almay “face” cosmetics, meaning concealers, foundation etc. Hope that helps!

Is anyone else having trouble printing coupons on redplums site? I’m trying to print the rimmel one, but apparently their new printing software is preventing anyone from printing. I looked on their fb page and all their are is complaints about everyone not being able to print. This has been going on for weeks. Just wondering if anyone had any success.

I couldn’t use the two Rimmel coupons that were online on RP because they state that the coupon is limited to one per purchase, so when I went to Walgreens to buy two nail polishes, they would not let me use both coupons.
You’re supposed to be able to do it, since one per purchase means one per item. What they are thinking is one per transaction.
The dentek floss picks are 3.49 bogo free the other brand that starts with a p are 2.99 so it makes the dentek floss 2.99 for 2 after the .50 coupon. Has anyone else had different prices as well?
