Amazon Fire TV is a tiny box that connects your HDTV to a world of online entertainment. Whether you’re a Prime member or not, enjoy a huge selection of TV episodes and movies. You can also enjoy Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, low-cost movie rentals, live and on demand sports, music, photos, games, and more.

Could someone give me some insight on this? What’s the difference betwen this and a Roku? Thanks!!
It’s the same as roku except it has voice search so you don’t have to type in searches for show titles. Hope what I tell you adds something. We have roku and type search is a pain BUT I’m not spending again to get voice search. Lol.
There are detailed reviews of this product on Amazon.com. I’ve looked into getting it.
I’m curious if the selection of free shows is the same as an Amazon Prime Member.
The same listings, nothing unique here. For those of us who have prime, they say they’ll have amazon music for prime on roku..nothing yet. I’ve created a few music playlists using amazon music, will not appear on roku’s amazon player. I think their holding this up because few roku users are buying the fire systems. I resent the fact the fact that amazons says Roku users can download their free music–not happening
