I agree, Brandice! I used to be obsessed with Yankee candles. That is all I would ever use. But a while back, I bought a wax melt warmer at Walmart and that’s all I ever use now. The wax melt bricks smell so good and strong, too (and are only $2 a pack!) 🙂
If you compare the burn time vs. price, Yankee is a better deal if you hit the right sale. While I will buy certain scents at BBW (Watermelon Lemonade is amazing!!!), when you crush the numbers, Yankee wins.. BBW candles will last me a week at around $9-$10 each with coupon. Yankee candles can easily last two and are in the $14 range if you hit use the B1G1 or B2G2. BBW 3 wicks states 25-45 hours, Yankee large jar 110-150 hours.

I took the coupon to a store listed on the “excluded” list and they honored it.. they had a ton of yankee candles on clearance for 60-80% off, the b1g1applied to that and I also got 20% off with an in store coupon! Great deal! I got two large jars for 8 bucks and change

Yes. I agree with Missy. That seems wrong. Sales, coupons and prices always change because people try to abuse them. Always read the fine print and use coupons correctly
Tammy J. if you took the coupon in and spoke with an Associate or Manager/Customer Service and out right explained, the fine print says your store is excluded from this deal, but I wanted to verify … And the store/personnel decided to accept it or even “try” to push the coupon through, then that’s a different story. But, if the coupon was just handed over to see if you got away with it, then that is so very wrong. The store will not be reimbursed by Yankee Candle for the cost … They lose money. It’s this type of behavior that’s why so many companies have altered, refined, changed, etc. their coupon policies … In turn making it harder and harder to get good deals. So, we “the consumer” literally end up paying for it with the loss of great deals. Please, please everyone think about these things.

Oh how I would live to try Wal-Mart but mine is a huge stickler and extremely hard to deal with. You might as well drive farther and pay more for the torture you go through lol!

I’m glad to see they are working at BB&B. I tried last year at one in Knoxville and they said “no”. Like it was a new policy. Don’t know if I should try again or not.
If you love Yankee Candles, it might be worth a try … At least to me saving $24.99/$27.99 would be worth the effort. I hope for you, that they will take them this time. 🙂
