these look like a great alternative to lunchables, has anyone seen them at their local Walmart?

  2. Nicole d

Harris teeter has them 2/$7 I believe this week

  3. AManda

I haven’t seen them at Safeway or Whole foods.

One thing to keep in mind although the yogurt and gummies are organic the meat and cheese is not applegates organic, ie. the animals have been fed gm crops to me that was a deal killer for how expensive these are

Thank you! I wonder how they’ve branded it Applegate without Applegate products?

      • Ohiogirl

Applegate offers natural and organic meats. It is only the organic meats that are fed non-gmo. So they probably include their natural meats. I have not checked them out yet, so I do not know.

        • Nicole d

That’s exactly righ, according to them at this time it is not cost effective to their customers to include organic just their natural meats

At Target they are more than $4 for one. That is just crazy to me.

    • Katie

Yes, I was surprised how expensive these were. The Target in Indiana sells them for $4.99.

There is also a $1 off one coupon on Applegate’s facebook page on the “Win A Half Time” Tab

I printed this coupon and had the option to “share” ( Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and it bumped the coupon to $1.50/1

Bought these a couple times with the 1.50 off coupon when you share and the cartwheel that is now gone, my daughter really likes them she often feels left out because I don’t buy lunchables but the cost its just too much. I am gonna try to make them myself although I know that if its not in a box it wont be the same lol

I’m not sure how old your daughter is (mine is only in Kindergarten) but I’ve been making homemade Lunchables as an occasional change from homemade Uncrustables using the Ziplock 3 compartment containers. They just fit in her Gymboree lunch box with a juice box or mini water bottle and a small ice block. I use silicone muffin cups in the large section to divide up the cheese, turkey and crackers then have the two smaller ones left for fresh fruit or whatever other sides I want to add. There’s a wide variety of other bento style lunch boxes available to give her the Lunchables feeling. Walmart sells Rubbermaid Lunch Kits and Blox kits if you don’t want to order online. You could probably jazz hers up with cute picks, colorful silicon cups, or a food/treat she really likes to make it “better” than Lunchables.
