I just recently found out that all Delta faucet products have a lifetime warranty. Recently my kitchen faucet started dripping and before my husband headed off to Home Depot we called Delta to ask what part we needed for the problem we were having. A very nice lady that answered my call informed me that they’ll mail any parts I need free of charge and if replacement parts are unable to fix the problem, they’ll send a brand new one free of charge and this applies to any of their products.

If you do not have the serial number of the product you’re having a problem with, they’ll send you an email and have you reply to it with a photo of the faucet and they’ll keep that on file if any additional parts are needed in the future. Please note that they did state that parts are sent out to anyone free of charge, but for them to replace the item you do have to be the original homeowner.

I figured I’d share this wealth of information with you to share with your other readers that may not know about this warranty on all Delta products. I’ve spent money over the years after becoming a homeowner on parts and even replaced a few faucets that had broke, because I didn’t know about this. I sure wish someone told me a long time ago, I could have saved quite a bit of money!

    Chacos footwear is another great company with a lifetime warranty. They will repair or replace your shoes, as long as it isn’t from extreme mis treatment. Two pair I have sent back and they re-soled. Free! One pair I had purchased at a yard sale and I called to have them fixed and they took care of it under their warranty!! I loved their shoes before I knew about their awesome customer service, but now I love them even more!!!!!

    Jennaire grills have a lifetime warranty. I had the burners and the grill top replaced but did have to pay shipping.

    Some outdoor/sporting goods companies have great warranties and customer service. My husband and I went fly fishing and when I dropped my reel on the ground the aluminum bent. Somehow a section of my husband’s rod broke as well on that same trip. We called Elkhorn and St. Croix and they sent new parts, no questions asked. What a relief!

    I am so excited to her about delta. We are building a home and were getting all delta stuff.

    Also if anyone out there is looking to buy delta faucets and/ or kraftmaid cabinetry for kitchen remodel, I am a private dealer and can get some very good pricing for those who are interested. I will beat Home Depot or lowes price by 20% off retail. Can’t vouch for clearance stuff though. Everything will be ordered directly from delta shipped to you and takes 6 weeks for delivery.     I believe Kohler has something similar. Our house is over 10 years old and when our kitchen facet went out this past summer, we called and they sent replacement parts. Only to find that the parts did nothing, they sent us a whole new faucet…free of charge. Always smart to check with manufacturers first =)

    Schlage locks have a lifetime warrantee. The finish on our pewter locks started to yellow after 5 years and they mailed us all new locksets free. They had us give them the serial number off our original key and the locks came keyed so that we didn’t even have to change out our keys.

    I recently tried to replace my All-Clad pan, it is the only Teflon coated pan they sell, they sent the pan back saying it wasn’t cleaned/cared for properly (I only use Dawn & Scotch type sponge safe for Teflon ). I paid about $100 for the pan, a huge expense for me but I had always heard good things about their product. I have Rachel Ray pans that I clean exactly the same way, I use one of the 3 daily and they are going strong. So disappointed in their product.

    I bought a Kohler faucet on clearance as is at home depot was a return and some parts were broken apparently, when we went to install it we found out, called them up and they sent new parts! Got a brand new faucet for half the price….

    Eddie Bauer – After a zipper broke on my husband’s backpack, (He’d had it all through high school, college, & then some!) I used the info on the tag stitched into the top part of the biggest section & got a gift voucher for the cost of the bag. His original one was of course no longer made bc it had been so long ago, but we were able to buy 2 new bags with the amount on the gift voucher!

    Tervis Tumbler – Wish I’d remembered they have a lifetime warranty on their products before I threw my cup away! I got a “Bride” glass at my shower, but accidentally dropped it while juggling too many things on the way to my car & it cracked. After the fact, my mom reminded me I could have called them bc they have a great warranty.

    Classic Accessories (Ravenna line) – They only have a 4 year warranty, but I recently had a good experience with them….This summer we bought a new grill cover on Amazon for my husband’s new grill. After just a couple of months, the one bungee cord secure broke. It really didn’t affect the cover’s ability to still “work”, but we couldn’t tighten the bottom like we wanted to for windy storm days. I emailed them, included info found on tag & a picture of the broken part & we got a brand new cover in the mail less than a month later! Best part, since the cover still “worked” we were able to pass it on to an uncle who has the same grill, but it’s better protected from wind, do he could still use it.

    Stores: Sam’s Club, Costco, BB&B, Kohl’s, Target, & Lowe’s – All of these places I’ve had good experiences with returns. From used spray paint that did not come out the color advertised to an oven mitt that melted when I pulled out a dish at 350, all have been very good regarding returns.

    Highly recommend the platinum protection from raymour and Flanagan-worth every penny, especially with kids in the house!

    I recently had a hinge on my kitchen cabinet break and called Aristokraft. They sent me a new replacement for the broken part. Just had to email them a photo of the broken hinge. Love good companies that stand behind there products!!

    The Cocalo company (children’s products) is great. They’ve helped me twice. Replaced a crib mobile motor and hamper for me.

    My story with Apple isn’t a warranty issue, but a recall. I had the first generation ipod nano that wasn’t syncing up with itunes anymore. I told a coworker about it and he did some research and found that there was a recall on the first generation nano. I entered my information and they promptly sent out a box to send it in to get a replacement. I was expecting to wait several weeks before I got another one, but I received a 7th generation 16gb nano for free within a few days!!! I was shocked and pleased and have been jammin to new songs since!!

    Such a timely post! I was making dinner while reading this post, and my wok handle is worn out so the wok is unstable when you pick it up. I just contacted Joyce Chen and seconds later, I got a response that they would send me a new handle. It just never occurred to me on this particular item! Thanks!

      Also, thanks to a Hip2Save reader I learned about the awesome customer service at Skip Hop. I have an awesome diaper bag that I used for my first child that eventually became my every day, everything (including coupons!) tote. I loved the look of it because it was dressy enough for the office but casual enough for jeans. Well, the zipper broke and Skip Hop provided a voucher for a dollar less than the current value of the bag! I was so impressed! I’d been out looking at $100-plus totes at TJ Maxx that I didn’t really love. I guess I’ll still be the mom carrying a diaper bag as a purse, but I’m thrilled!

    Somewhat related post, there was a recall on these crockpots, one that I received as a wedding gift almost 10 years ago, they didn’t just replace the base they sent me a brand new one with a matching smaller “lunch” crockpot
