Would you also get the $3 Savings Star for the turkey offer?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn Amanda…I am no longer seeing that offer. Are you!?

      • kathy

The $3 saving star coupon is still on my list, so maybe if it was clipped, it’s still available. Mine says expires November 30.

Also, could you get $1 for turkey, $.25 for green beans, and possibly $.50 for potatoes (doesn’t specify fresh or boxed) from Snap!?

This is a great deal that includes all you’d need to host Thanksgiving! Thanks so much for your hard work.

  2. jkp

Thanks for all your hard work putting this scenario together. Whew!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome! πŸ™‚

Seriously! ! YOU ARE A LIFESAVER! Hosting a small Thanksgiving this year for the first time and this is just PERFECT!! Ahhh I am almost in tears. This helps so much. Thank you! !!! πŸ˜€

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Woo Hoo! Good Luck to you on making your first Thanksgiving dinner! πŸ™‚

I went to target earlier today and purchased the butterball turkey and cool whip. I didn’t have either in my cartwheel app added but I did for other items I purchased. I looked at my receipt and noticed it took off for the turkey and cool whip for the cartwheel app. Is that normal for that to happen? I’ve never noticed it before.

    • DC

That’s strange…but awesome! It never has happened to me before.

    • Daisy

That’s happened to me once before too. I’ve been meaning to ‘test’ it again to see if maybe this is something new they’re starting. How awesome would that be? No more wasting time scanning every item in my shopping cart πŸ˜€

Off subject alittle, is the OXO salad spinner for $34.99 plus a $10 gift card back a good deal for the large spinner?
    TIA πŸ™‚

  6. Caitlin

Did this deal last night. Unfortunately, my store had one turkey left and it was 21 lbs! I bought it anyway, plus some other items. Ended up costing me less than $20 for the turkey, 4 boxes of Kellogg’s Nutri Grain bars, 3 pizza bagels, 3 Betty Crocker potatoes, 2 Barilla pasta, Barilla sauce, gallon milk, dozen eggs, 2 Betty Crocker cake mix, Hershey’s syrup, and 10 cans of Sheba cat food after coupons, gift cards, and cash back. My store was wiped out of several other things on my list, but it worked out considering I ended up paying double what I had planned for the turkey. πŸ™‚

  7. Laura

I bought 20 boxes of Kelloggs bars today. I used the $10 gift card coupon, 8 $1/1 coupons (the ones on Target.com are different from coupons.com), and 6 $1/2 coupons. One of my coupons wouldn’t come off so I paid $35 and got $35 in gift cards.

    • Laura

Oh, I only paid tax so it was $1.33 for 20 boxes of bars!

      • lex

What a deal! Is there a gift card promo running for those bars? Obviously lol but what is it? Thanks!

        • sarah

I done this 3 times buying $30 dollars worth of bars to reach the 50 dollar threshold. I always gotten my total after rebates and coupons to be around $7 dollars. my kids are just loving it. Don’t forget that you can get $5 dollars back from saving star for buying $18 worth of special K bars

    • Janet

Per target’s coupon policy, you’re only allowed 4 like coupons. Others might not be so lucky like you were…

      • paula

They are using 4 $1/1 special k bars and 4 $1/2 special k bars coupons to reach the $30 so they are 4 of each different coupon which within the guidelines of the Target coupon policy. You would need to buy 4 special k moments or nutragrain bars and 8 boxes of varieties of special k or nutragrain bars @ $2.50 each would equal $30 and you would get back $15 in gift cards. My store is REALLY strict with the limit of 4 like coupons(register actually beeps and states maximum number of coupons reached)and I had no problem doing the same they did the other day so you should be able to do it also, hope this helps:)

        • Vanessa

Actually no they used 8 1/1 coupons and 6 1/2 coupons. They stated four from target website and 4 from coupons website but they were both manufacture coupons and they both said the same thing so no I don’t think the stricter stores will allow everyone to get the deal.

  8. JA

My in-ad coupon wouldn’t scan, it kept saying that it was expired, even though it was obviously in date. So, she just took $10 off my order! Works for me!

    • paula

Ya me too. They had a computer glitch today I believe. I overheard the store manager on the phone with corporate trying to get it fixed. He did not look very happy, lol. Hopefully they will have it fixed soon but the supervisor just rang up a $10 gift card and then gave me a $10 credit for the charge so I did get the $10 gift card, I felt sorry for the cashiers today. What a pain for them!

  9. Sara Bonert (@sbonert)

Wow, if you are doing thxgiving shopping at Target, that is quite a deal. But as a reference (I’m in a Chicago suburb) my grocery store (jewel) had turkeys for 49 cents a pound (with a $25 purchase). And then I got a lot of my thanksgiving groceries at Aldis, which ended up being about the same as these prices at Target but without dealing with coupons – though you obviously aren’t getting name brands.

Having to buy everything for a big thanksgiving dinner really adds up, so great to have these saving options!

  10. Delanda Jo

Anyone else having a problem with the Swanson broth coupon? I don’t see it.

  11. BS

CAn we buy chocolates ? does that include in food ? i know its a silly question but was confused πŸ™ ..Thank you in advance πŸ™‚

    • Princess

      @BS, yes you can.

      • BS

        Thank you πŸ™‚

  12. Nicole

My store was automatically scanning their own coupon for the $10 gift card once I got to $50!

  13. Joannie

Does anyone know if I can price-match a local grocery store’s ad for Butterball at Target? Just wondering if they can do that since it’s a per pound price difference. Thanks!

    • Princess

@Joannie, I’m not sure because my target is very particular about price matching. I tried to price match an item from my Publix ad, and the product had to be the same as the wording not just the picture. I would maybe call first and if they say yes be sure to write down that person name just in case.

      • Christine

I did get to price match the Stove top dressing from Kmart, their price was $1/box and I was able to use the 20% cartwheel

      • Christine

I was able to price match the Stove Top dressing from Kmart which was $1/box and also used the 20% cartwheel
