So this is definitely a spendy purchase, but if you’re in the market for MacBook Air, you may want to check out this deal. has discounted this Apple – MacBook Air (Latest Model) – 13.3″ Display – Intel Core i5 – 4GB Memory – 128GB Flash Storage to $799.99 (which is a $200 off the regular price!), plus free shipping.  Apple products are rarely discounted this much, so this does seem like a nice buy.

I L.O.V.E. <3 my MacBook Air! It’s so nice to be able to easily tote it around wherever I go. Yes, my laptop is with me a little too often. ๐Ÿ˜‰

(Thanks, Lara!)

Considering that Mac computer very, very, very, very rarely go on sale, this is awesome! If I could, I would but I can’t, so I won’t … booo hooo, lol. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. brandice

Yikes….is this a deal or am I that cheap

  3. Steph

I bought my Mac laptop in 2007 and it is still running strong over 7 years later. Definitely worth the price!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I totally agree! And hope I don’t cause a debate, but I think it may be true –

Once you go Mac, you never go back! ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Pharmchick

I totally agree! My hubs decided to get a MacBook Air on top of already having a MacBook Pro because he liked it so much!

      • Jenn

I agree just got my Mac a few months ago and I’ll never own another PC. Well worth every penny spent.

      • Judy

Agree with you Collin!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š Loving the no antivirus purchase every year.. In a long run Mac is a way to go!๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‰

        • john

There are plenty of good free Anti virus programs from the PC, and it is a falsehood that Macs can’t get a virus. Hackers generally ignore macs because of the lower percentage of people that use them, but if that number grows the number of viruses will grow as well.

          • CourtneyAmanda

You keep telling yourself that , John. That’s what the PC lovers have been saying for 10+ years. We are all Apple, all the time here. Memories of all the trouble with PCs makes me shudder.

    • Mella

I agree! I love my MacBook Pro!

    • rebecca

I had a Mac desktop that I bought in 2001 and although it was still running strong a couple of years ago, I couldn’t go online with it because it needed updates I wasn’t willing to buy. I bought a Mac Mini instead and this will probably last me close to 10 years again. I’ve been a Mac baby since inception. I’ve used PCs because of work but it’s like slipping into a warm bath when I get back to my Mac, lol. ๐Ÿ™‚

Apple doesn’t have “sales”, so yeah – $200 off is a big deal!

  5. Serious Couponer

That’s a super deal. Anyone that can.. should jump on it fast. Very well worth it indeed.

  6. Kelli

On Thanksgiving, I purchased the Mac 15″ with retina display online from Best Buy. It was $300 off!! I am on it right now and am LOVING it!! I was overdue for a new computer. I’ve had my Dell laptop for about 7-8 years, so it was definitely time. Merry Christmas to me! :)))

    • Jeannette

Kelli, us too! Our trusty old (circa 2007) Dell Inspiron laptop was finally giving us the “almost time for a new battery” message and can’t upgrade to latest ie so decided to try the 13″ MacBook w/BB BF deal for Christmas. I did a complete fresh install on the Dell this week and we’re giving it to a friend who doesn’t have a computer and she’s SO happy to now be able to be able to email family and print photos from home now. Collin – see how what you do keeps paying it forward? Happy Holidays ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Shopper

My husband just bought this 6 months ago. Paid $1000. So this is good deal. Anyone who is looking for a Christmas gift. “Bingo”

  8. Tracey

I am completely in agreement with the rest of you! If there was ANY possible way I could afford this fantabulous price I wouldn’t think twice about going to buy one. But it is totally WORTH it for those who can. ๐Ÿ‘

Here is a The Children’s Place code $10 off when you spend $40 online only

    Web Code: B898AF2 โ€ข Store Code: Y18003

  10. Caitlin

Yes. Totally worth it. My husband got this same computer 3 months ago with the mega deal for students they had and he loves it. I’m getting one next year when I start my graduate program.

    • Ashley Brown

When/what is the deal for students? TIA

      • Sam

Ashley, I scored $100 off my new MacBook Air in May with my student email

      • Nicol

Yes please share! My Toshiba laptop still works fine but I’m tempted to get one and pawn the one I have to hubby. Hehe

      • Trece

I found the page, copy and pasted it and when I went to use it, the page became in existent. Looks like they took it down as a precautionary measure maybe? I read the fine print and it said that it could be used on sales items. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ

      • Jeannie

Google Best Buy student discount and it will bring up a link. Just follow the directions and they will email you a bunch of coupons.

        • Trece

          Thanks! Doesn’t work…

      • S

I managed to sign up for the student deals and they sent me a bunch of coupons but will not valid until December 07th!! Darn, it would have been a perfect pair

        • Jeannie

I would take your coupon into the store and request they go ahead and honor it…cannot hurt and they may just do it…

    • rebecca

If you homeschool, you can also get the student discount. You just need to show your registered homeschool ID which you can usually print through your state’s homeschool website. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • rebecca

Actually, I want to clarify. I was able to use that discount at the Apple Store but I’m not sure how it works at Best Buy. It is definitely worth trying though since it’s an additional discount. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Caitlin

To clarify, I am referring to a previous deal posted here and another deals website I frequent. We were able to get this machine for around $690 with a $200 student discount and the 10% movers coupon stacked. This was a very hot deal and is no longer available. They may do another one next fall, but I am not sure. We have been Mac users for a while and were ready to get rid of our old MacBook Pros, which were still in good shape but we just wanted something newer and faster. For what it’s worth, my 2010 base model MacBook Pro is much faster than my sister’s brand new $800 Windows PC. ๐Ÿ™‚

  11. Brittany

A very happy hubby, indeed! Thank you so much! I am so excited for him to get it!

  12. Jeannie

If you have a .edu email address, you can sign up for Best Buy’s student discounts which sends you coupons for various products, one of which is on Apple laptops. Got my college son a Macbook Pro this way and the coupon was for an extra $100 off! Definitely look for a coupon if you have a .edu email!

    • Trece

Do you have a link to the page? The one I’m seeing isn’t currently working. TIA

        • Trece

Thanks a bunch Monkey! It’s saying page not found. ๐Ÿ˜ซ
I called customer service and the rep believes they’ve disabled the link through cyber Monday. ๐Ÿ˜•

          • Jeannie

Well that is a bummer! I would try again later just to make sure the site is not just temporarily down.

            • Trece

    • S

I got a $120 off but valid starting 12/07! Darn, how long will this promo last?

  13. Elizabeth

Is this deal expired? It’s showing up as $949 for me

  14. nina cruz

Oh bummer. I got this at 899 on black friday. I could have waited. Oh well

  15. rightasrainy

I’m so bummed I missed this. What a great deal!

  16. Kali

Does anyone have a student discount coupon for $100 or more for a macbook and isn’t planning on using it?

The coupon I just got is only for $50 =( Not sure if the value is supposed to be random or if they’re reducing the coupon value.

I’d appreciate it if anyone has one to spare. It would really help a lot. Thank you! Email: LSJC07 *at*
