Hip2Save reader, Pam, recently sent over this email below…

With all the different websites, grocery apps, drug store apps, reward cards, user names, different passwords due to min/max characters allowed, emails (personal, business & couponing) etc., how do YOU keep track of it all?

I have tried using a password app… but they lost all my information & my trust. I had to start all over again. I’ve tried keeping it on “my notes” in my iPhone & emailing it to myself. But then there is always “one more” to add to the list. I started writing them down in a small note pad & I keep it in my purse (I’m afraid it might get lost or stolen & it is very easily available for prying eyes). With the endless list of information we need on a daily basis, I find myself always relying on this little note book to get me through the day.

I use Roboform. It keeps all your passwords in one, easy to find spot on your tool bar. It gives you the option to secure all your passwords behind a single master passcode for all those important sites like your bank, paypal or anything with your personal information. It offers a random password generator and gives you the option to see your passwords at any time. That way if you are installing an app on your phone or tablet, you can see what your password and log in is. I have it on my chrome account and when I log in on my laptop, any changes are shared between logged in devices using Google+. My work is internet website based and this has been a god send for everyone in my office. You can also save multiple passwords under 1 URL log in and label them for ease of use. Example: My website has my personal log in, my admin log in, and 2 of my assistants log in info. All are labeled and available at any time right on my tool bar.

I use Last Pass. So much easier! I can log into it when I am not home and get the info I need!
