   For iPad, to download the app requires iOS 7.0 or later. My phone has iOS 7 and I hate the way the icons look and everything. Can anyone tell me if iOS 8 looks any better??

  It’s fine. You just have to embrace the updates…there’s no way to avoid them. 🙂 Eventually some of your apps won’t work unless you’ve got the most recent operating system. I say go for it. 😉
