I don’t know if it is just me but I HATE this brand. I got it once and everyone in my house hated it because it was sooooo thin and ruff. My son asked me if I got some free toilet paper from a truck stop,lol!

I hate those super soft double ply tp’s. I have used Scott for years and will continue to do so as long as they leave it as is.

I like this brand and this item in particular. I used to get the soft stuff, but this one is very economical especially if you have kids playing with the roll and wasting some, and don’t forget there is also the water and soap method (and the wet wipes) for those special times.
I love their toilet paper. And to me since it’s going down the toilet, as long as it does the job, I’ll buy the cheapest.
Agree. Just got some for the first time on a recent h2s deal. It is the ONLY TP i will no longer buy.
It is the only toilet paper I will buy! It is the best deal and is not rough – it just isn’t pillowy like the other stuff. In my opinion, the other brands are a total waste – my butt doesn’t need that extra fluff. Now the toilet paper in most hospitals, THAT is rough!

I am on the same page, lady! I have 4 girls and they use T.P (toilet paper) like it’s a water fall!!! I just got 12 big rolls of Charmin toilet paper from CVS that Collin posted last week and they are already gone… Gotta get this long lasting Scott T.P!!
I use the same amount of toliet paper, whether this or angel soft, so might as well save money.
My daughter hates it but it doesn’t clog up my toilet and I read it was very easy on my septic system. I just buy a different kind for her. She says it’s like what they use at her school 🙂
Agree! It is better for your septic system then many many other name brand toilet papers.

I agree Niki. I did a lot of research when we moved to a house with septic. It’s by far the best paper to use if you’re on septic. And IMHO the soft stuff breaks up too much. This is the only stuff we use.

Another similar brand that I often find a little cheaper than Scott 1000 with coupons is the Marcal 1000 & find it pretty comparable to Scott for those of us who are fans, I used to be a tp “snob” but after switching & getting used to it have found myself unclogging a lot less of my kids toilets & buying tp a lot less often! It just can’t be the Marcal soft (or whatever they call it bc that’s Def not any benefit in my experience) HTH

To each their own but love this brand! I hate how the soft stuff falls apart and with 2 little ones using the potty, those rolls vanish too quickly & clog easily.

seriously? i honestly dont know how people like the soft stuff it breaks EVERY time i use it and it leaves a lot of lint everywhere. Doesntatyer the brand i have tried them all and they do not last because they break causing us to use more. I love scott tp its the only one we use.
good point! I think it’s more of an illusion of getting a luxurious treatment. I think water and soap is the VIP, and Scott’s for everything in between 😉

Our favorite brand and kind! They have actually changed it a bit. It seems a bit “softer”. If that makes sense. LOL
But we used the store brand 1000 sheet TP and it was rough. Definitely a difference from Scott. Great deal! We paid 12 bucks for a 15 roll pack of Scott at Target last weekend.
I LOVE this brand too! I have toddlers in the house who use the toilet and when I use these to wipe, scott does the best cleaning job. The “soft” ones just leave residue or lint on their bottoms so I hate it. Also, 1000 sheet rolls last us a long time! The other “double” rolls run out too soon. It’s all just false advertising! A roll is a roll! Although I still take on other toilet paper “deals”, scott is my favorite!

Why do people care so much about other people’s toilet paper preference? Just buy what you like and move on with your life 🙂 We are lucky to have so many tp options in the stores in America …not to mention running proper sewage and running water to wash your hands.

I’ve tried just about every other brand and none come close to lasting as long as Scott. Walmarts version of Scott is good too but at my store it’s priced the same as name brand.

I do too! I bought 6 packages for me, and 2 packages for my Dad! I always stock up toilet paper in my basement when I find a deal! As a reference point, Costco (in Melville,NY) has Scott T.P. for $23.99 for 36 rolls, which is $.67/roll. This Staples deal comes out to $.50/roll. I think it’s a great deal.
