      Way to go! 🙂

I don’t have a Harris teeter in my area. I feel as though it’s an affiliate of a bigger corp. Any help would be appreciated. FYI I live in Az.

    • mindy

Kroger bought harris teeter but they don’t run the same promotion. Harris teeter still double up to 99 cents everyday and up to $2 once every 4 to 6 weeks or so, but Kroger doesn’t run those promotions.

I’m in AZ too Kroger is having thier Mega event also Kmart is either having it just had thier double coupon event

HT is where I do a lot of couponing. Be careful about BOGOs. If you buy one item, it rings at half price, and you can use a coupon; then in another transaction you can do it again. But if you buy the two items at the same time, it’s considered BOGO and you can use only one coupon since you’re “getting one free”.

    • Tracy

      Good info…thanks for that.

    • Kami

My store let’s us use two. According to corporate that line about the BOGO was a misprint.

    • sarah o

It was definitely a misprint. They let you use two coupons on BOGO items. They have a sign up at my store saying it was a misprint.

      • Tricia

Oh, I am so glad to know that! However, I think I’ve had this happen with their Buy 2 Get 3 Free deals, ie you can only use 2 coupons. Anyone else differ on that?

        • Caroline

My HT in Nashville lets you use as many coupons for buy 2 get 3 free as there are items. I did it today!

I praise God for Harris Teeter and their super doubles. My total before coupons was $68 and after was $12 plus tax. They have a great deal where you buy four Kelloggs, Keebler, Pop Tarts, or Eggo products you get four dollars off at the register instantly. If you combine that with coupons it makes for free stuff. 😉 Also free Starkist tuna, cheap Progresso soup and cheap Mueller’s or Barrilla pasta. Pillsbury Grands biscuits are 10 for $10, combine that with the .50 off one or the $1 off three it makes for some free or cheap biscuits. I love Harris Teeter.;)

    • nicolegammeter

      Awesome, Kami! 🙂

Yes Kami god is good.I love harris teeter super doubles. Thanks Tricia for the bogo info. Thanks Collin.

Tricia in BOGO sales each item rings half price. In a b2g3 free sale the first two ring full price the other three free you can still use a coupon on the ‘free items’ as long as it doesn’t go over the value of each item.

Is the limit on doubling coupons for 3 like items on the actual number of coupons or the actual number of items? For example, if a coupon is ($x off of 3 items) am I only allowed to use one? Or could I use 3 of the ($x off of 3 items) and end up with 9 items?

    • nicolegammeter

They will double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value (like items include all flavors).

I went to my local Harris teeter this morning at 7am (when the double officially started) and it was crazy. A lot of people were not following the guidelines of 20 super double coupons per household per day. Luckily I was there early enough to score $120 worth of items for about $25, but the freebies were pretty much out of stock at my store. I will try again later in the week.

I went first thing this morning, and my total was $245, once I scanned my E-Vic card it went down to $135, and then we scanned the coupons, and I spent $99.45 out of pocket (including tax). I have groceries for at least 6 weeks!!! All I had coupon wise was some printed coupons, and the 1/4 red plum that had just came in the mail.

Just got back from Harris Teeter. I didn’t see a lot of good sale this time, had to pull out my rain-check binder to make the deal sweet. I used rain checks and coupons to get the following items free (4 anne jemina pancake, 4 sister schubert rolls, 4 laughing cows cheese) 2 luden cough drops free, 4 dozen eggland eggs $0.87 each after rain check and Q, 4 glade wax melt free, 2 pillsbury grand biscuit free. So I paid $4.57 included tax.

This store let me used 4 coupons of same items since all of my rain checks’ limit were 4.
