Sale has been going on for at least a few weeks probably just ended. They had other food items bogo not just the pistachios unless that was a different bogo sale a few weeks ago.

Is there a code I have to enter to get the bogo deal?

Last week I bought a Walmart brand of Pistachios, called Great Value. I just started eating them when I discovered a dried entire WORM in one of them. Good I looked first and wasn’t eating them in the dark in front of TV as normally. I placed it in small ziplock and showed to Walmart customer service associate to return in. They checked the date, it was NOT expired. The one thing I noticed is that they had no emotions, not even surprised and definitely did not apologize. Why is it so hard for WalMart associates to say “I am sorry”??? You know, “I am sorry helps”.

I know customer service is rotten there. I have known a few employees though and even some employees I was just talking to in passing said this — they told me that Walmart is HORRIBLE to work for. They are treated very badly, at least at mine and I imagine elsewhere too, hate their jobs but feel they are trapped because they need their jobs. Hence the bad attitudes.

That is so gross! You know, even with the “Wonderful” brand and others. I’ve noticed, it’s common I’ll get some that I’ll crack open and it will look likes bugs or worms have made tunnels in them. I’ve never actually seen a bug though. I wonder if that’s common with pistachios (bugs in them or tunneling in them).

      • Jennine

I think it is common with pistachios. As my husband found a worm in one of his as well. It was from aldi but they quickly gave him his money back and a little extra
