If you’re looking for a unique family activity, this “You’ve Been Egged” tradition is a fun way to spread Easter cheer to your friends and neighbors. This Easter poem is so cute!
You’ve Been…Egged!
Don’t be alarmed
We mean no harm.
6 eggs lay in disguise,
as a happy Spring surprise!
Now it’s your turn to spread the cheer.
Egg a house or two that’s near!
HAPPY EASTER!
My kiddos had so much fun with this activity!
Make it work with your budget by purchasing dollar store goodies like jelly beans, stickers, and small treats. If you have chickens that lay pretty-colored eggs, you could even include one or two as a fun, added, gift. Such a cute way to have some family fun. 😀
Hip Tip: You can cut the free printable like a door hanger as designed or like a tag as shown above.
What a cool way to share Easter cheer with your neighbors!
I never know who’s more excited to give and to receive these–the parents or the kids! If your neighbors have a Ring doorbell, you can always have someone wear a bunny suit! 🐰

Love this!!!
Cute! If rather do it with a dozen eggs vs more candy. Plus real eggs will probably my be more welcome (and less effort!)
Wow. Spell check is horrible! I’d rather do it with real dozen eggs (we have chickens!) as it’s less effort and will be more welcome than candy 😉 I like the note You’ve been egged!
Love this!
Cute idea, thanks for sharing! 🙂
Hi! Do you also have a “we’ve been egged” printable (just to avoid being egged again and the activity stopping short or having to egg again)?
