I ALWAYS made and used homemade baby wipes when my kids were little! I had a perfect-sized Rubbermaid container, and ONLY used Bounty paper towels. Then I just added in water mixed with baby oil and baby wash. SO MUCH cheaper and a lot less chemicals!
Same here!! I love it! You can make other household wipes the same way with whatever you keep on hand to clean with.
Can u tell me how u made them i have no wipes right now and dont want to buy any because they irritate my daughters bum. Do you cut the bounty towels
If your baby has sensitive skin, you should try to look in to cloth diapering! We love it and it saves so much money!
For wipes, you do cloth wipes (they sell a ton of different kinds on etsy!) and we use Lusa Organics Wipe Juice. One bottle of Lusa lasts forever– we just add 1 cap full to a 5 oz spray bottle and you spray them on the cloth wipes during each diaper change.
It’s worked on all three of my sensitive kids’ skin and we love them.
If you’re new to cloth diapering, check out a site like Jack Be Natural that gives a great overview and sells items at great prices.
You forgot all of the samples & coupons you can get free; Enfamil, Gerber, Similac, Huggies, Luvs, Pampers…not only do they all send you samples, they also send you high value coupons. I’m currently pregnant and my stock pile of free formula is impressive!
Hi kim, I have a 2 month old and need similac coupons. My daughter is on the very expensive similac Alimentum formula. I signed up for the similac strong moms club and didn’t get anything. Any tips would be helpful.
I try the following: call Similac and ask them. I am always amazed how many companies will offer you coupons and/or samples just but calling.
Check with your baby’s doctors office or other dr offices in your area, if you don’t see any coupons out, ask often they have them.
Check with your local hospital maternity and/or NICU. Our hospital was very generous with samples and coupons. Hope this helps some.
My son is also on alimentum. I signed all my family members up and get $5 coupons all the time. My pediatrician gives me 6 bottles any time I stop in for check ups. Because the cheapest I can get it is just under $10 around here.
Email the strong moms club and tell them you never got your free samples or checks, and be specific about why you’re using their formula. That’s how I got my samples and then some!

I bought the breast pads when I was pregnant last year, great price. They leaked thru though, so I cut the plastic training diapers sold at Walmart and use them to line the back of the breast pads now they are leak proof. Just don’t put them in the dryer! You can buy PUL and use that but I wanted used what I had. It’s very simple a little time consuming but for the price you can’t beat it. Plus I got tired of running to the store for breast pads!
I didn’t care much for their breast pads either (though I loved their Car Seat Canopy and Udder Cover), but I loved Milk Diapers breast pads– they are the best. And you can use code “SWEET” one their website for 10% off 🙂
I have the belly bands if anyone is interested. I have three in size large. I tried one on but have never actually worn them. I will sell them for 20$ total.
