Oh man, “with us couponers, it’s personal!” 😦

    • Kathy

      🙂

    • Sarah

      That’s hilarious! And true.

  2. brandice

Yet another reason not to shop there

  3. Tanya B

What do you guys think of the plenti program? Any comments? I received my card this weekend, but I’m not too sure about it.

    • Rocky

I agree. I am uncertain of how much this new program will benefit my family. Still like Rite Aid, but they giving us some serious hurdles to jump.

      • mel

Instead of getting UPs, you’ll get Points. Once you bank 200 Points ($2), you can redeem those points at Rite Aid, or any other participating retailer. The biggest plus is that unlike Walgreens Balance Rewards, we will be able to roll points!!

        • mel

I’ve seen the May 3 Ad and it looks promising. Lots of ways to earn points. The only stinker is that there is still the delay in being able to redeem, just like UPs, Points won’t be available to redeem until 6am the following day.

  4. Jamie

Typical rite aid, pull things with out warning.

  5. smellyann

Oh, man. Rite Aid used to be my favorite drugstore for couponing, but then we moved to Miami and no Rite Aid. Now I’m not disappointed anymore, with all these changes. Geez!

    • alie

I cAlled rite aid this morning and i waited for 2 hours to talk to any rep and finally i disconnected the call. This was too much.

      • Moria

That’s terrible! I can’t believe that you waited 2 hours and still didn’t talk to anyone!

        • alie

Yes last half hour i waited was just to let them know abt it

  6. Mol

One less store to stop at!! Will be deleting my account and cutting up my card!:-)

    • jen

i was wondering can i delete my account in store or do i have to call

  7. Elizabeth

    No wonder!!!!
I spend about an hour yesterday trying to print that $10 Conair coupon and the pg would just not load.
I guess I now know why!

  8. Marie

I don’t think this program is going to be very good. From reading all the literature on it, I gather it is being done to share your info with American Express and other partners. Time will tell. I no longer shop at Walgreens because I find their program confusing. Rite Aid may go the way of Walgreens for me.

  9. Sondra

The Video Values page is gone already.

  10. 78Brownie

I found myself visiting RiteAid and Walgreens A LOT less. I think I stepped in a Walgreens just to find a sheet mask. I ended up buying a water, too. RA…I went in for vitamins a few weeks ago. I feel nothing 😐

  11. Sri

This is really a bad news for couponers like us. i’m using video value coupons from 5yrs. so sad they stopped without any warning.

  12. Cassandra

Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS…these reward programs all confuse me and I don’t know why. I stay away from them, lol.

    • Barb

Sad for you 🙁 CVS is so easy to understand, take the time to read Collin’s explanation and you won’t be sorry

  13. MnlghtSkye

I don’t even bother shopping there or reading the ads because they always outta stock on sale items and starting Feb 1st they stopped excepting my insurance which is the most common carrier in my area. They will be out of business soon.

  14. Kristi

I read on another site that they are coming back when the plenti program starts next week?? Guess we will find out soon.

    • mel

From what I’ve read, RA terminated the contract with Ad perk. They (ra) are supposed to start offering personalized coupons, like cvs does.

  15. lenmar01

I was wondering if anybody had trouble with their Jan. and Feb. rewards program. My wife and I are still waiting for our 2 night hotel deal and a round trip flight. Any info would be appreciated.

    • rebecca

I am still waiting for my 4 free movie tickets from the Fabuary reward program. I have called twice about them and the representatives do not seem to have any info. The last rep took my info and said she would look into it and then call me the next day but I never heard back. Not counting on receiving them at all.

      • lenmar01

Rebecca, thanks for your answer. I would not give up your rewards because you earned it. I am going to call them tomorrow and raise some hell. I will let you know of my efforts.

        • dolly

i already used my 2 nights hotel and my camping trip…you had to enter your rewards and send, then wait for email, then confirm which place, then they would contact you about booking the deal, I did have to call several times, but I got a personal phone number for the agent I was working with, I can’t figure out what happen with your reward!
sometimes she called when I was not at home.

          • lenmar01

Dolly, thanks for your info. I finally received a call from the Rewards Fulfillment Center in Boston today.

      • lenmar01

Rebecca-I received a call from Boston today from an employee of the Rite Aid Rewards Fulfillment Center. She explained that they are behind on completing the rewards. I will speak to her tomorrow and ask what you can do to resolve your issue.

      • lenmar01

Rebecca, you can call 617-939-0400 which is the concierge for Rite Aid Fulfillment Rewards. Hope this helps.

  16. Denise

    I will stick with CVS

  17. Michelle

I used to shop at Rite Aid a lot but not so much any more. Amazon had been having a lot of good deals. Thanks for posting them!

  18. L

CVS has won me back this past month:)

  19. Ashley

I work for Rite Aid and didn’t even have an idea about this :/

    • L

That is another reason why. They don’t let their own employees know what’s going on. Not fair to you at all:(

    • RA Cashier

      Neither did I.

  20. Amy

I finally started receiving in-store emails again from CVS after being snubbed for almost a year. I’m now shopping there again. I do almost no business with Walgreens and Rite Aid.

  21. Penta

I pretty much stopped shopping at RA a year ago because they always had to call their manager to accept their own (RA) coupons and other coupons. It was way too much stress and not worth it. I still get my scripts filled their because it is just around the corner from me but that’s all. My Walgreens, Target and CVS are my favorites. They are all great with the coupons and their managers are very helpful and friendly.

  22. jen eagar

I have been shopping at RA for 18 years now. Programs have come & gone, yet time & time again i find killer ways to save. I am sure I will with this new program. Don”t give up hope just cause the deals have sucked in between these programs. If not I will be there to snag the deals you miss.

    • dantim123

      same here

      • dolly

me too, did the rebates…I am hoping for lower prices and a lot more of their coupons on site..i live in the country and riteaid is the only store close…. no cvs or walgreens 🙁

  23. Renee

I think my rite aid will make more money without me shopping there! Haha! I got such great deals!

  24. Emilee

How do you get the new plenti program card?

    • AR

At the store. When I shopped last week, I was able to transfer my old wellness card info over to plenti. The cashier said I will be able to complete registration in an email next week.

    • Ashley

They’re doing pre enrollment right now, but you cannot finish registering it until the 4th.
They actually had to stop that process last week because customers were still trying to get on the website (WHICH WILL NOT BE UP AND RUNNING UNTIL THE 4th) and then calling the Plenti company throwing a fit.
If you are at Gold or Silver level, they should of sent you a Plenti card to bring to the store, if not, all stores have some now.

      • Jan

They sent me a card that said to go to the Plenti Points site to complete the registration, but the site wasn’t up yet. They are really stumbling with this roll out of the new program.

        • mel

The inside back cover of the blue folder, says to complete registration beginning May 4. A lot of people are missing that, I guess b/c they’re not pulling the white booklet out or pulling the booklet and not reading the blue folder. I think it should have been stated in several places to avoid people from trying to access a site that isn’t even up and running.

  25. Kristi

i work there and i have heard absolutely NOTHING about this 🙁 what a bummer. I’m not even excited to shop at my own store anymore…:(

  26. Gale

Macy’s is going to be part of plenti program

  27. Betsy

I live in a small town, I have not been to rite aid since my up rewards were done. Nor my friends who coupon. I have a gut feeling within a few years they’ll be closed. Which is sad because the employees were so nice. But I would rather go some place where I can save $. The nearest cvs is about 35 minutes away… Time to move on…. At least I have a nice stock pile!

  28. Ashley

It’s possible it’s just an error in the system right now due to the fact that they just did a huge update in the system today for our new return policy.
Rite Aid won’t be closed in a couple years…they just bought out 2-3 other companies and they’ll profit off of it. It’s sad, but true that they aren’t worried about “couponers” since they partnered up with several other retailers for Plenti, therefore getting a cut of something.
    It’s corporate America

    • mel

Ad perk contract was terminated. Too bad they didn’t at least let us know that on 4/29 we’d no longer have access to our accounts to at least print out the VV’s that were watched. But I guess that means less money the have to pay out since those VV’s will go unused by those who didn’t print them out.

  29. Lydia

I myself used to go a lot, and not so much anymore..but we need to understand they are a for profit business too. Clearly we had all at one point benefited greatly from couponing at rite aid. Business will change through time one way or another

  30. Chelsea

I received my plenti card in the mail this weekend and I don’t understand the program. Some points based system across a weird mix of retailers and suppliers? It wasn’t clear how you accrue points or what they’d be used for… I really don’t get it.

    • mel

You earn / redeem points at participating retailers. At Rite Aid, instead of earning UPs, you will now earn Plenti Points. Before, you’d get $1+Up for buying “X” item, now you’ll get 100 Points. Once you have 200 points banked ($2), you can then start redeeming them, at RA or any of the other participating retailers.

  31. Jan

I watched all the Video Values for April, but haven’t printed them yet. Makes me angry that they wasted my time earning coupons that they won’t even let me print.

  32. Sharon

Since they stopped the UPs I have only been in the store once and that was to purchase the Conair item that was 25% off on sale and which had the $10 VV coupon. I don’t like that they sent the Plenti cards out and it said you had to link your new card in store by May 3. So what happens if I don’t? Can I still link it online or when I do finally visit the store or will I lose my gold status? I have no plans to shop RA this week but looks like I will have to stop to link my card anyway. Don’t like it already. I’m thinking of waiting a few weeks to see how others like the program before I jump in.
