  Safeway has luvs and moms choice on their $5 fridays on the 1st friday of the month.

  That is a good deal. Safeway USED TO allow customers to “add” those $5 Friday deals to the Just4U card so customers could use it anytime over the weekend. Now, you can’t… have to go buy it on Fridays only. Which is a bummer, because it’s not always easy to get to the store on a Friday, especially for moms who work a full day on Friday, have to pick up kids, make dinner, do the bedtime routine, and then zip over to Safeway, when exactly?
